Alright. im with koodo, my old phone was able to send and recieve, along with all my other old phones, but i dont know why i cant send or recieve any.
It will only let me send as a email orthrough bluetooth. how can i fix it so i can send it through a text?

Have you called your Carrier Koodo to know if your account is provisioned with MMS services ?What happen when you try it this way :
Open SMS icon and compse an SMS.
Click on the Menu (BlackBerry) key.
Select Attach and select one of the options: Picture | Video | Location | Audio | Voice Notes | Contact | Appointmentl.
Complete attaching the file and the screen will show "Switching to MMS Mode, May incur extra costs".
And now MMS is ready to send.
Are you able to Send MMS now ? If not then please check those Knowledge Base Article :
KB13667 : Unable to send photos in MMS messages.
KB15700 : Unable to receive MMS messages on the BlackBerry smartphone.
KB13584 : The Option to compose MMS message is missing or not available on the BlackBerry smartphone.
Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.

This has been posted about many times on this forum. A forum search will give you plenty of answers.
The best way is to have some one send you a pic from their cell. In the "To:" field, have them enter your e-mail address instead of your phone number (they do not have to have e-mail on their cell to do this). When you receive the pic, save the address that it came from, it will look like [email protected] for example) There is a complete list of the MMS gateways on many other posts or you can do a Google search.

Hello, what I recommend doing is a battery pull. To do this, please:
Power the device off.
Remove the battery.
Let the device sit for 15 seconds.
Replace the battery.
Power the device back on.
Now you can proceed with your task.

I recently updated to IOS6 and now i cant send or recieve picture messages unless im using imessage. But then when i do use imessage it send messages as my email not as my phone number....what is going on?!

HT4623 my phone3 will not send or recieve picture messages. How do I fix that?

I have an Iphone 3 and net10 is my provider. I am unable to send or recieve picture messages or multi-media messages. Net10 told me to contact apple and there were some things in programing that will fix my problem. Is this true?

That's a 3GS phone (pls update your profile)
Net10 is not a supported carrier of the iPhone so there are settings that need to be changed to use MMS/iMessage etc.
You would need to contact them for the proper instructions.

Can't send or recieve text messages on the 7610

Whilst on holiday my phone stopped beingable to send or recieve text messages. It was working for a few days but then just stopped and the message "delete some data to recieve sim messages". I deleted almost everything but nothing has worked. Im now back in the U.K and its still the same. Also, underneath the battery bar is an icon which I have never seen before, its the number 1 with an arrow underneath it going from left to right and pointing mid way thru.
Is this a virus? Can anyone help please?

I'd upgrade your firmware because when I had a 7610 it used to do all sorts of dodgy things like what has happened to you.

For some reason I can't send or receive i messages on my ipad. This has just happened within the last few weeks. I think I have checked everything I can, so would be open to suggestions.
The facility to upload photos to facebook has also stopped working.

You must not be connected to wifi.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Are you using the phone on a supported carrier? Have you checked with your carrier to make sure that your account is properly provisioned? Have you turned on MMS in Settings>Messages? What happens when you try to send?

Can't send or recieve text messages via WiFi

I have a Galaxy S4 and live in a black hole; little or no cell service. If I go outside I might get one bar. This is not my issue though, as I'm used to this and have a land line. However, I would like to be able to send and received text messages via WiFi on my phone. But I get a message that there is no service available, even though I have WiFi enabled and have a good WiFi signal. How can I get my phone to use WiFi for sending and receiving text messages at home?

Text messages go through the voice cellular network not wifi.
You might want to check out a third party messaging app that uses data either cellular or wifi to send messages.

Can't send or receive pictures on iphone 5/ sprint, please help!

Was on the phone for over 3 hours last night with Apple and Sprint and I'm beyond frustrated. I just started using my iPhone 5 on the Sprint network a few days ago. I did the 6.0.2 update. I can't send or recieve picture messages! Regular text messages are fine. Everything else on phone works great. I've went thru the whole trouble shooting routine on Apple's end w/ a senior advisor and have restored my iphone twice..it doesn't help.
Sprint said it has nothing to do with my plan and they said that my coverage here is fine.
Has anyone else had this problem? Was it a problem on Sprint or Apple's end? Could the 6.0.2 update have caused this? Could this possibly be a defective phone? Please help!!

ok finally got the problem solved. Hopefully this will help other people experiencing this problem.
First, go Settings, then select Phone. Under "My number" it should say your current number. If it doesn't (as it didn't in my case) call sprint (dial *2 on your phone). Tell the sprint agent you would like your Name assigned to your number.
In my case, I had been added to an existing family plan. I was assigned a random new cell phone number, but then later changed it to my old existing phone number from AT&T. So if you are like me and brought your old cell phone number with you when you switched to Sprint, then this may be the issue.
When I was experiencing the problem with my pictures not sending, the wrong phone number was showing as my number on the phone (even though people could call and text me using my current number).

I was given a torch as a gift recently. I like the phone but can't send or receive picture messages. The service allows it, as I had no problems on my motorola doing it. Is there somehere I can go to update the software to get the option? I have looked through everything here, the option is just not there at all like the manual says it should be.

You must have the BIS BlackBerry Data Plan in order to use "data", such your picture MMS messages and to get the RIM push email functions, as well as additional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, as recommended, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.

My 8130 cant send or recieve pix messages.

Do I have to download software to allow my phone to send and recieve picture messages? I cant get a straight answer from the girl at the store and I havent recieved anything from Blackberry but I was told when I bought the phone back in June that it would be capable of the option soon

Are you provisioned by AT&T to use MMS?
Do you have MMS turn on in message settings?
Lastly contact AT&T as messaging is a carrier feature.

actually better to reset your phone and reinstall the latest firmware again after that restore your back up it should be ok
