Can't send out messages, say stmp not able to recognize my email address

I can receive email but can't reply or send. It keeps saying stmp problem. Not sure what that means. Please don't be to technical, I'm and old guy. Thanks for any help you can send.

Click on 'Copy text to clipboard' button
In this question in this forum:
Right click in a Reply' box and select 'Paste'
You can edit/remove all the info on Fonts and Printers, but nothing else.
Then tell us the exact error message ...word for word.

As long as you can't get a hold of the device, you can't do anything more than talking to your daughter about it.
Erasing the device could also be an option to keep her from using apps you don't want her to have on her device.

I up loaded the new Yosemite OS X and now I can't send out messages on my gmail account? It states I no longer have smtp server?

I updated to the OS X 10 Yosemite and now I am no longer able to send out gmail messages. I can receive but unable to send. An error comes up prompting me to out going smtp server needs attention???? Contacted gmail...they state it is not their issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not able to use my adobe ExportPDF. I've tried several times to copy and paste the entire link that you sent me into my browser but not working. I need to convert a ppdf doc to a word doc asap so that can do some searching for info for finals. Please help! Thank you!

I'd recommend you contact Adobe directly about this. In the mean time consider copy/pasting the text to Word, if the searching in Adobe Reader isn't enough.

I can't download appstore updates, says I need to login to an email address of some random person

I purchased the following apps through one email (only my id, my email is different)
Apps I paid for:
Braid
Desktop Shelves
Angry Birds
When I try to update:
Braid I get a message
"You have updates available for other accounts"
Sign in to******<at> gmail.com
I don't know this person, when I emailed him, he said he was seeing my ID as well when he tried to udpate his app.
NO this is not a pirated copy, this is a copy I paid GOOD money for and can no longer update.
When I try to update Angry Birds I get this:
"You have updates available for other accounts"

Can somebody please fix this for me? I can't get the software I paid for

yesterday mobile me mail service was our of service for many hours... and now...
I don't believe that servers are the identical...
but problem persist...

Check the information on the song, Right-Click -> Get Info.
In the fist pane, (Summary), you will see the AppleId (Account Name) that was used to buy the song.
Be sure to login to use this account to register this computer to play the song
What I often see, Is that people have many different AppleID, sometime not even knowing it, which is a big problem.

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if you can then send emails

Why can't I send out messages on Mail?

I'm able to receive mail but I can't send out any. I've tried troubleshooting, like checking if the outgoing server is correct and reviewed everything in my preferences.... everything looks normal from the info Yahoo provided me with. I've also tried the Connection Doctor and it said both incoming and outgoing serveres successfully connected with the internet.
What more can I do? This issue just suddenly came up out of nowhere.
Also, I don't know if it has anything to do with it but when I tried sending out an email to a large group of people after attempting it on Mail unsuccessfully, Yahoo wouldn't let me for "suspicious activity" on my account. I don't know what's that about.

I am guessing you're asking about picture messages as mesages, not emails.
Go to Settings > Messages and make sure "Send as SMS" is "On". Also "MMS Messaging" must be "On".

iMessage can only send messages to other iOS devices using their email address. Make sure the person you are sending has i message set up.

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

You can't setup (create) an iCloud account using a PC. You must use an Apple device, a Mac or an iPhone etc. Once you have created an account you can sign in from your PC.

go to settings -> phone -> my number (iput your phone number)
and then do what razmee209 said,
after you change it, your phone number will authenticate with the operator that you use,
