Can't send text to some friends from iPad but can respond to theirs

I have texted a couple of friends to their iPads in the past and now messages will not deliver. I am able to respond to their messages, just not generate new ones. Do not have this problem with anyone else. What's the problem? Can anyone please help me?

90+% of my texts and the responses to these texts show up on both my iPhone and iPad -why don't the others? When starting new text from iPad (to some friends) I can pick from address book but name is "red" and messages won't send?

I've had this problem for quite a while now. I have an iPhone 4 and it's been updated and stuff and I don't know when it started, but I can't send texts to certain friends. I can receive them, but I can't send any back. I have noticed that the ones I can't text are Samsung Galaxy users--I can text people who have iPhones old phones and stuff just fine so I don't think it's a problem with my SMS or MMS (whatever they are...). Try going to settings, general, reset, reset network settings. This will restart your phone automatically. Then see if you are able to send the SMS message. If then the same error occurs try a hard reset by holding down the home button at the same time as the sleep/wake button for a few seconds forcing the phone to restart. You will not lose any data doing these resets. Good luck

if no it means ipaid cellular is only for 3g or 4g connections to access internet anywhere?

you can't make calls, but if its supported, you can use facetime. another alternative is skype, but you wont be able to make actual phone calls from your ipad

Call AppleCare, because, according to Apple, removing the devices from your support profile should have fixed this issue. You can also try changing your Apple ID password, but given what you've done, I doubt this will help.

Photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be copied to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You can't connect an external drive directly to the iPad, you will need to copy them to your computer first.
Photos that originally synced from a computer can be copied back to a computer via third-party apps such as Simple Transfer (which also has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when iTunes syncs them to the iPad, any that are copied back to a computer may not be exactly the same (file size, dimensions etc) as they originally were on the computer.

If the songs are downloaded into your iTunes library (i.e. they don't have the cloud icon against them) then you should be able to delete them by selecting them and pressing the delete button on your keyboard.
If they do have the cloud icon then they are in the cloud - you can turn off the showing of all icloud music via the 'Show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases' on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences (command-comma), or you can hide individual tracks and/or albums so that they don't show in the cloud : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your album file into the folder. The file must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the files should appear & you can import.

TS2755 cant send messages to ipod touch from ipad

I am trying to send my daughter messages through the ipad, but the send button only slightly lights up blue, and wont let me send. I can send anything from my iphone.......and I will receive her messages on both.

does your daughter have the latest iOS on her iPod touch and is she connected to the internet?
The iPad and iPod touch can only send iMessages (blue) when connected to the internet, your mobile phone will usually always have a connection due to have a 3G connection.
If your iPad is the WiFi only model then it needs to be connected to the WiFi network as does the iPod Touch to send and receive.
The 3G versions will need to have the 3G turned on to send standard texts.
The iPhone will fall back to sending standard text messages if it has no internet connection, but again it needs the receiver to have an internet connection too.

I have deleted some apps from iPad.

I have deleted some apps from iPad. When I connect it to Mac, Itunes starts to sync ipad and all apps installed back!!! Why??? I wanted to send one m4a file to iPad, but iTunes started a huge sync process all over 3 hours and + 1 hour I was deleting not needed apps. Please - help! We all need one app iTunes - to have a simple tool to sync devices, but this process became NOT simple. Now I am afraid of it! I want to do everything not to connect my iPad to Mac.
Please - make it simplier! I want to have a control of this process and do what I want to do.
