Can't send videos

Windows phone app running on WP 8.1 videos go almost immediately to "Not sent" and become blank. I can receive from others running Android version just fine.

I can recieve videos just fine, but I cannot send videos.  When I make a video it will show that it is sending, but after a few seconds it will say "not sent" and will not send.  So far, to trouble shoot, I have: Powercycled my phone; Uninstalled Skype Qik then reinstalled it; Verified that I have the latest version of Window's Phone 8.1; Verified my data plan (which is unlimited); Verified my signal strength; and tried to resend while connected to a WIFI.
I have read that Skype Qik is having certain issues with people that have a lot of contacts.  Is this related and when can we expect a fix?

How can i send video from my i phone 4s to an email address?

Mail attachment size is determined by your ISP, & limit that size to betweem 10MB's & 25MB's, depending on ISP. So, unless it is a very small video, you won't be able to.

  • Can't send videos via text message or email.  Why is this??

It keeps telling me "Sorry, you cannot add this video to your message."   The videos I've attempted to send are only 3 seconds to 19 seconds.  Can't send via email either because they're "too large?"

Picture size can cause missed sends as well,  you might try if you haven't a different setting in your camera not sure what phone you have but if your using HD  try  Non  HD see if  it'll let it proceed and if your using 720P for Video try a different Video style and you may need to clean your cache for your messaging..  give that a look.

    Hi,
In addition, please let us know your network  environment.
As S.Sengupta said, you can upload your larger file to OneDrive, and then share the link and send the link to your friend.

  • Can't send videos through text message

Hi, I have an iphone 5S. I'm using ios7. While texting, I can't seem to send videos through. It shows it went through on my end but does not show up on the other end. I'm texting from iphone to iphone.

Correct...   The limit is actual 1.2 megs and any larger files I would say do the email option or dropbox...
I use dropbox and I can share any size files without issues but make sure you set it to sync the images and videos on wifi only to avoid exceeding data.

  • Droid x2 - can't send video msgs

No matter what size the video is, it says that the video is to large and I can't send it.  What's going on with that???

    Hi lewabug,
Please ensure that your video is saved on your device and not on your SD card memory. Then follow the instructions below:
Send a video from device memory
From a home screen, select App menu (located in the lower right).
    Select Gallery.
Select a gallery (e.g. All videos).
    Select and hold a video.
    Select Share.

  • How can I send video email

I see a lot of sites offering video email. Does .mac offer video email? If so, how do I send video email.

You can attach a QuickTime or other video file to a mail message, though these tend to get clipped off and stripped off at mail servers — even compressed video files tend to be huge. The recipient gets to buffer the file in local storage, and can also have issues downloading the file on slower links.
You can send HTML-format mail and link to a video file on a server. (I tend to avoid loading HTML files from remote sites for various reasons, and I'm not alone here.) This is probably what these "video email services" are providing: storage, and a way to link to it from within an HTML-format mail message.
Or you could look to iChat or other such interactive mechanisms. iChat is part of Mac OS X and iChat Server is part of Mac OS X Server.
As for .Mac and such, a specific [.Mac Discussion Forum|http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=116] is available, as is the [Apple Mail client forum|http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=753].

  • HT1694 How can I send videos via email (hotmail) that are 55 seconds or more?

Hotmail is supposed to have a 10MB limit and my videos are only coming to 5MB. But I can send a video that is 54 seconds long, but 55 seconds won't send. I also tried sending it through a gmail account and it wouldn't work either. Any advice? I'm using a iphone4. Thank you!

When sending an email the largest size of any file or collection of files is 20MB. A 720p HD video recording from your iPhone 4 for 55 seconds probably hits about 20MB (or just under). There isn't a way to increase the email sizing limit, however there are other alternatives such as Microsoft SkyDrive (Free), DropBox (free) and Google Drive (free) which will let you upload and share your files (like you would with email, only slightly different).
If you have a Hotmail/MSN account, you already have SkyDrive and it's easy to setup and use. Just visit: https://skydrive.live.com and sign in using your Hotmail/MSN account.
If you have Gmail (or blogger, or other Google service including YouTube) you can enable and start using Google Drive easily also, just visit: https://drive.google.com/start
If have neither a Google or Microsoft acount, and have no interest in creating an account with either of them, try DropBox. Found here: https://www.dropbox.com

  • Can't send video message

I've tried lowering the quality of the video and tried using different messaging apps (stock and hangouts) but every time I try to send a video message, I get an error, "Video is too large for MMS message."  I've even tried to send a 2 second video and get the same error.  I just had a friend with an iphone send me a video and I received it and it played no problem (lower quality than the actual video though) and I was able to forward it back to her through hangouts with no problem.  She received the low quality version that I got.  Then I tried saving it and attaching it to an MMS back to her through Hangouts and it sent without a problem (low quality).  So I checked the size of the file she sent me and it's 255kb and about 12 seconds long.  The size of a 5 second video I tried to send but couldn't was 8.3 MB and that's with low quality settings.  Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to send a video on this fancy new LG G3 phone on the best high speed wireless network? Thanks in advance

    Disregard.  Figured it out.
