As of this morning I cannot send email from my iCloud IMAP account on my iPad Air, my iPhone 5, or my Mac Mini over our Time Warner Internet connection. However, if I turn off Wi-Fi on my iPhone 5, I can send email as usual over the Verizon cellular network. Same with my iPad Air, when I use the iPhone as a hotspot. Same is true at my office and at Starbucks. I can send email using our EarthLink account from all devices over our Time Warner Internet, but not the iCloud IMAP account. I have an iPhone 5C at the office. Same with the 5C. With a Wi-Fi connection I cannot send email. With a cellular connection email sends as usual. I can recieve email normally even over Wi-Fi.

After this setup, any changes to one phone (i.e. adding a contact, downloading an app) will have to be manually duplicated on the second phone, if that is your desire). Making changes to one phone will not affect the other after setup.

Can't set password on account registered by Facebook

Hello, I have read all FAQ and topics but I dind't find any correct answer. I've created account via Facebook and I don't have password. That's correct. But first problem is when i try to create device password. In account settings I clicked "Send email to set password" and got an email. Link in email has redirect me again into login page and when I click again login with facebook, it says "You are logged out" and can not do anything. I can't set password and don't have any other way except the facebook. Thanks for help.

My company want to implement the Password Policy to limit the failure logon count.
Such as Lock users if they try logon with invalid password for 3 times.
The problem occur on iPad and iPhone my iPad using IOS6. and user had change their password.
iPad and iPhone remember the Wifi and proxy credential. and try to connect with the saved credential.
I monitor on my system and found Wifi connection try 2 times with saved credential and prompt for new password
When I enter the corrected new password . So I the proxy server detected the invalid login 3 times or more and lock those account.
So could anyone told me on how to set iPad and iPhone to do not save the user credential... ?

For some reason, I can't set/send photos on my phone. It'll tell me the following: "This app does not have access to your photos or videos. You can enable access in Privacy Settings." I've looked at my privacy settings and there's no settings for photos. Help please?

I have had this problem....but...it is now solved. Go to General, then Restrictions. Scroll to Privacy, then scroll down to Photos, I had to click on 'Allow Changes'. This solved my problem not being able to post pictures to Facebook, Instagram etc....

Can't set up new iPhone?

So I got a replacement iPhone today from Apple and when I plug it into my iTunes it displays the "Set up your iPhone" screen. I have the option to sync contacts and apps... I've tried a combination of checking/unchecking these options.
When I press "Done", it seems to just freeze. My iPhone does not display sync in progress and iTunes just hangs. Eventually I remove the cable from iPhone then iTunes displays a message that it cannot read/write from the disk or something.
Using iPhone 3GS with iTunes 9.0.2 on Windows 7 x64.
Any ideas?

There are known BIOS compatibility issues with Win 7 64 bit and 9.0.2..One most commonly known is with Gigabyte boards using Intel Chipsets
Try searching for a bios update for your mainboard and see if that helps...

Your post is too vague to help. State exactly what you did and exactly what happened, including details of any error messages.
Note that if your phone was previously hacked to unlock from a carrier, when you updated the phone became re-locked to its original carrier.

Can't set password after upgrade to iOS4 on my iPhone 3g

It took forever but I upgraded my iPhone 3G with iOS4 upgrade. When I tried to open "General" settings the screen reverts back to the default first page with all the apps displayed. I want to set a password but I can't get past this screen. I have tried rebooting a couple of times but I can't get to the settings window. Any clues?
