Can't set phone up to receive wifi
I am unable to set my 4s to receive/ use wifi.
I've tried resetting, turning it off,and still the wifi remains off

I had this problem with my 4s a couple of times when I'd taken the headphones out and it hasn't registered it. My solution was easy, all I had to do was turn the phone off and then on again.
Although I'm sure you've already tried this its a sometimes forgotten and very easy solution to a lot of problems. I hope you find out what's wrong. -

You would all need to sign into iCloud in settings>icloud and you would all need to enable "Find My iPhone" in settings>icloud aswel.

I set up an iCloud address for my wife, evidently before running the iCloud set up and now I can't connect her to
an iCloud email address through the set up because it is already in use?I did not articulate the problem properly. I have the sign in for Birgit on Apple BUT I am unable to set up the
icloud.com email address for her because I had already established it before running the iCloud set up on her computer and now when I try to set up an iCloud email address for her through the iCloud application I can not do so because the email address is "already in use." Need some help, today I received my new Mac Book Pro...Mac OS X 10.6.7, 2ghz Intel Core i7 and memory 8GB...I turned it on, did my configurations and stuff but now I can't seem to get an internet connection, I have registered my laptop my Home wifi, but till now nothing...It's saying it has a self assigned IP address and unable to connect to the internet.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!Poer down your modem, router and MBP. Then power up in 1 minute sequence first the modem, then the router, then the MBP. Then form the MBP's Airport icon in the menu select your network.

I'm so sorry for any trouble with calls and messages! I know how important it is to have a properly working phone. Which iPhone do you have? Please reset the network settings: settings/general/reset/reset network settings. Once that is done, please monitor the device and see if that corrects the issue. What is your zip code?

There is no such thing as an iphone 4G. There is iphone 4 and iphone 4S.
If the printer is airprint-enabled, your phone will find it. If not, and there isn't an update to make it so, you will have to use an app to print.
If your printer has email address, you can email it whatever you want to print. -

Did you get a new unactivated micro-SIM card from your new carrier or one that was already activated?
Regardless, if your iPhone is officially unlocked you need to contact the new carrier. -
I just set up mine and my wife's iphone 4 on new ios5 and icloud settings. I have both phones on one account and actually she purchases apps/music with my sign in and password on her phone.
Now that we are set up on icloud settings, her phone is receiving my calendars, contacts, etc. she does not want and does not need any of these items on her phone. How can I separate the two now? is there a way to have a different login and password for her phone so that it sets up on its own icloud settings?

It starts on the computer in iTunes. There are 2 elements we are dealing with;
purchasing items from iTunes (apps, music) and playing items in iTunes.
Only one Apple ID can be signed in at a time for purchasing. But you can "authorize" multiple Apple IDs for playing. As long as iTunes is "authorized" with both your Apple IDs, items purchased with these different accounts can coexhist in one iTunes Library.
Why this is important, it has to do with back up and being able to transfer purchased items to the computer.
Once your wife sets up her own account, she will want to connect the iPhone to the computer to back it up and transfer any new purchases, iTunes will need to be authorized for that to happen.
With that said, a new feature of iColud is back up. It will back up everything to the cloud. You need to turn it on, it's at the bottom of the iCloud settings on the iPhone. It is limited to 5GB for free, you can buy more. I used all 5GB my first back up, but I have a lot of crap, and there's a lot of things on the iPhone that get backed up that don't count against the 5GB, so it might be plenty of space for you.
When it comes to the iCloud and contacts/calendars, again your wife needs her own account. (ASAP) Does she have a computer in her life that has a list of her contacts and calendars. I hope so, because it sounds like her contacts on her iPhone are now mixed with yours. Or I hope there is still an untouched list of contacts on the iPhone that iCloud didn't mix. Either way Delete your iCloud account from her iPhone. Remove the data, as long as it isn't hers. This will delete all info being synced to the cloud. If she still has a list of her old contacts on the iPhone, great. If not, I hope she has them somewhere else, like her own computer.
Create her an iCloud account. Enter the account info where ever there is a list of contacts/calendars and get the info onto the cloud, then add the iCloud settings to any other devices.
Any new apps/music purchased with her account will back up to the cloud. I don't think apps purchased with your account will. She will also need to enter your password for updating these apps, because they were purchased with your account.

My wife and I have been using the same iTunes account for both our iPhones, but she wants separate apps from mine. How can I set up a second account in her name, delete the apps on her phone and start from scratch with just the apps she wants on her phone?
If you have the old phone, connect it to iTunes, right click on the device, and choose transfer purchases. If you no longer have the old phone, I don't believe there is a way to recover them, as they were on your original device.

Hi, please can someone help me?
Have just returned home from abroad where my iphone 4 worked perfectly.
Now at home it wont receive wifi. It picks up the signal which shows in phones display but cant connect to the internet. Computers and ipod all working fine so I assume it must be a problem with the phone.

From your description, it sounds like you may have been using the SMS feature of Continuity in iOS 8. If this is the case and it has somehow become misconfigured after a recent change, you may find the information and steps outlined in the following articles helpful:

I have full signal and have wifi but I'm can't send messages or receive them. I can't make phone calls either. it picks and chooses when I can receive them and make calls. It only works everytime I turn my phone off.Try turning on Airplane mode for a little bit (20-30 seconds) and turn it back off. see if that doesn't allow you to re-connect.
In my current project my office receives no signal at all. I have to do this almost every time I leave the office in order to get a signal. -
My Iphone5 updated today with new iOS 6.1 and while doing that it has sync my phone number with my wife number in the same icloud due to which we receive each others SMS when we message each other. Anyone have idea how can I fix this issue in settings etc
