    I am trying to design a dashboard on sap bex quer, using 'SAP netweaver BW connection', after I input credential in the pop-up windows, I got a message windows as follows:
           ' sap GUI connection are started via connection string. /H/10.86.80.38/S/3200
            Attention: system information could not be verified
            do you want to log on to this system?
then I click 'Yes', a error message immediately pop out, there is only a red-cross in it without any text information. after click 'OK' again, it get out . since then, if I want try to set up connection again, the query browser botton does not work anymore.
could you please tell me how to resolve it?

It is better to use OLAP connection(BICS) for accessing BEx queries in dashboard.

Hi guys,
I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. I already had an HP C4385 All-In-One that I was using with my last computer. I have also just set up a new wireless network because I got a new cable provider. So basically I needed to do everything from the beginning.
When I inserted the setup CD and ran the setup program, it said I couldn't continue because my OS was not supported. I went to the HP website and found the solution, which was to plug the printer in via USB and let Windows Update find the latest driver. Ok, that's fine, the printer works now when the USB cord is plugged in.
To set up the wireless connection, the instruction manual says I need to do it through the network setup wizard p on the CD. But that brings me back to my original problem-- the setup CD won't work because it doesn't recognise Windows 7.
So my question is-- how can I update the network settings (SSID and key) on the printer without the network setup wizard?

Can't set up wifi connection

I just got a computer from work and I brought it home and tried to set up the wifi connection. A box appears saying Mac OS X wants to make changes. Type an administrator's name and password to allow this. I tried my wireless routers name and password and the box just shakes which I am assuming meaning it will not take it. I also tried the same thing with network diagnostics with the same result. Any suggestions?

It is asking you for your computer login name and password, not the router.

Hi ivan.kishkin, were you prompted for the password when you tried to connect the PC wirelessly to the router? Did you make sure to type it in correctly? You may actually try to remove preferred networks on the computer also and reconnect to the wireless network. As SAPUI5 prefer XML views, I'm rewriting JS view into XML views.
When I translate the statements below, I can not set sap.ui.core.CSSSize array for property "widths" of Control MatrixLayout.
JS version:

The error says: Uncaught Error: "[100px, 200px, 300px]" is of type object, expected sap.ui.core.CSSSize[] for property "widths" of Element sap.ui.commons.layout.MatrixLayout.
Same problem with property `backgroundDesign` of MatrixLayoutCell, I can only use a workaround to use String "Fill1" not the Class "sap.ui.commons.layout.BackgroundDesign.Fill1".
When we meet a property which need a Class object as value, we can not set it in String Format for XML views. That's a pity or I did not find the right way to set NON-String values as property for XML Controls.

Using the string value of an enum is fine, though.

Yes, I did try to go on my settings>wifi and was waiting for any wifi signals to pick up, but nothing shows up. But on my PC I get a whole list of networks to choose from. Regarding my neighbor, I already have her password that is why I was able to get it on my PC, the problem is that the mini Ipad is not picking any signal neither can it locate me when I go to maps.

As you mentioned that you just upgraded the database, so the data is same and schema is same you can connect with the same work schema.
Yes, you can use the same contexts , but need to do Reverse Engineering for your new database.
And about data server, i think you also have no need to create new data server, if hostname,sid and port etc are same as these were with R11(consult with your DBAs regarding it)

WRT54GL Can't set WPA or WEP and connect

Okay, brand new WRT54GL, setup on the network, can connect, no problem. If I goto setup the WPA or WEP and enter the corresponding info on the Windows machine, I can't connect to the router. It leases an IP, and I can see in ipconfig (dhcp client) that I have a IP from the router, the new router IP (I changed it to 250 to verify I'm connecting and not getting something legacy) shows up as my router, but then I can't ping it or connect to the router in any way. If I disable the WPA or WEP, it works fine.
Just for the record, I run WEP on everything I touch, home, work, family and friends houses when I set up their wireless, etc. I do networking day to day, but granted I'm not changing my WEP WPA regularly (often enough to consider myself safe, but not Best Practices regularly) so I know what's up there. But on this box, it doesn't do. This is my first foray into the GL (I was thinking of the WRT fw's, but this isn't my box), so I didn't know if there was something different I should look at?
So, as you can probably guess, this box isn't at my house, it's at my buddies. I can go over and check on things, but I can't do it immediately. I'ld like to just see if maybe I overlooked something stupid. The part that's throwing me off is that I've done this countless times. Does this sort of thing ever happen to anyone else? I'm trusting that one of the forum regulars can thump me on the head and I'll see clearly. He is using it right now in unsecured mode, so no problem there.

Tried resetting about a dozen times while I was attempting this the first time. I did that because I knew that would be the first thing I would be asked to do.
The only error I was getting was that Windows could not authenticate with the device. (I forget the error, and did not go over there this weekend). Wouldn't it be nice if Windows told you exactly what the error was? What has me stymied is that Windows got it's complete DHCP info from the router, but wouldn't let me connect to the router (or anything else) so obviously it did auth at some point.

To connect the computer to the Internet you still need some physical component, for example a wireless USB dongle. So if you want to have the Mac connecting to the Internet and then share this connection to other devices using wireless, then you can enable Internet Sharing on the Mac and select to share its Airport (wireless) connection to the other devices (which turns the Mac into a form of access point). Then the other wireless devices can connect to the Mac and use the Mac's Internet connection, which could be a wireless USB dongle or an Ethernet connection to a cable modem.

and then deploy the file SAPLOGON.ini from your client to all other client
via the logon script...
Or, and that is what we ( SAP ) recommend, you can use the SAP FRONTEND ÌNSTALLATION SERVER.
