Can't set up iPhone 6 from back up!! Please Help!!!

I just got my iphone and i tried to set it up from the back up from my old iphone but when i try to do this a message pops up saying the back up is corrupted or is not compatible with the new iphone. i don't know what to do!!! Is anyone having the same problem?? Please Help!!!!

Ok let me tell u exactly what i did...
1 i backed up the old iphone
2 updated the new iphone to ios8.02
3. try to restore from back up but it says the backup is corrupt or not compatible ( I've backed up the old iPhone 3 times now)
4. Set up as new iphone and then restore from backup (still didn't work, even tho on itunes it looks like its syncing everything i can't access the phone, its still on setup mode, it won't go pass the connected to itunes screen, and all of it I've done through itunes not wifi

Plug the iphone in and go to the music tab in the iphone,not your itunes library.There will be a button in the borrom right that says autofill. Click that and it should thransfer all your music. It worked for me,and i had the same problem.

I thought I was computer savvy and told a friend at work that has an issue with her internet that I could fix it. I am having more trouble than I thought. She told me it was a Windows 7 and it is a Dell Windows XP Professional service pack 3. I am

She told me that she had uninstalled some programs she felt were slowing her computer down and now her wireless is not working the light is not on, the switch is on but when I go into network adapters all there is, is a 1394 Net Adapter and a Broadcom NetXtreme
and it acts like it needs a cable plugged in to get online when she has never had to use a cable before. I can not find anywhere where there is wireless settings or anything.
Someone please help, this lady is super nice and I would hate to let her down. I have the computer here with me now and if anyone could help I would appreciate is so much.

"she had uninstalled some programs she felt were slowing her computer down" - Trouble indicator number one. She has likely removed files that were required for the operation of the card. Hopefully they were just drivers and not system files.
What I would do it physically removed the wireless card and then restart the PC. If there is any programs related directly to the wireless card listed under Add and Remove Programs, I would uninstall them and then restart again. Download the
drivers for the card if you do not have them and then power off. Reinstall the card and power back on and follow the standard procedure for installing the card as if it were brand new. Hopefully it will start working again.

Can't set up another email for iMessage! Please help!

I already have two iPhones and an iPod touch, and a Mac set up on my iTunes account. The iPod and Mac each have their own gmail account they use to recieve iMessages (one of them is my Apple ID). The two iPhones each have their own phone number they recieve iMessages from. I now want to set up an iPad on that same iTunes account with iMessage with a third gmail adress to use. When I try to set up iMessage, I am shown the two gmails and phone numbers from my other devices but no option to add another email like all the tutorials say. Is there a limit of 2 emails or something? There is no way I am making a new Apple ID just for iMessage. I tried to look for the option in Messages and Settings. Please tell me if there is a way I can add a third email.

Can't get sound to tv from MBP. PLEASE HELP.

I am having trouble getting sound to the tv from my MBP. I tried it on two televisions, a sharp and an LG. The only way I could get sound was through a stereo receiver on the sharp, and that took some doing.... So, I tried on the tv I mainly watch - and no sound. Is there possibly a setting within the tv, or should sound be automatic once i connect the rca into the headphone port on MBP.
The tv has the hdmi for video, and ports for audio, I plugged the white and yellow. I know it is probably something really simple - but I have tried all that I know to do. Thanks in advance....

You need an adapter. Mini DisplayPort can not output audio.

I was upgrading my OS system thru iTunes but the plug on my macbook came out and battery ran flat half way thru. This jammed my iPhone 4.
I think it's to do with the OS system. That if i take it to the previous OS system it might work. But since i'm in phone set up mode i can't get into general setting to change it back.

No. You can set up as a new device or restore from iCloud or iTunes. It looks like you backed up with iTunes, so you can't restore with iCloud. To backup your device in iCloud, go to Settings > iCloud and activate it

To do that you need to be using an IMAP type email account rather than a POP type. Check with your email provider to see if they provide this service and, if so, switch to it on all your devices.

Sharing an iCloud account between two devices can be done without causing issues with iMessage and FaceTime, just go into Settings for each of these functions and designate separate points of contact (i.e. phone number only, or phone number and unique email address). While that works, you'll then face the problem where a phone call to one iPhone will ring both if on the same Wi-Fi network -- but again, that can be avoided by changing each phone's settings.
Rather than do all that, don't fight it -- use separate IDs for iCloud. You can still use a common ID for iTunes purchases (the ID for purchases and iCloud do not have to be the same) or you can use Family Sharing to share purchases from a primary Apple account.

I believe you are missing the point. The OP has already restored from back up, but failed to include a specific app in the back up and is trying to recover data for it, which in this case is not possible.

If you begin syncing contacts with iCloud you will be given the option to merge your contacts with the accout. If you do, your contacts will be uploaded to the account and will appear on both your phone and hers (if she is sharing the same account/ID). Be aware that if you do this, if she then deletes your contacts from her device, they will also be deleted from yours and they will be lost. For this reason, it's usually recommended that different users maintain separate iCloud accounts with separate IDs, which makes it easier for users to restore contacts from iCloud.
