Can't set up the ODBC in a Win95 machine

I was trying to setup an ODBC to Oracle from my machine, but I can't.
At first time I was using MS ODBC to Oracle ver. 2.573.6019.00. but it was sending the following error:
The Oracle(tm) client and networking components were not found.
I already got these components, I got:
Oracle Net8client
I don't know if is there a problem if I have them installed at my D: drive ?
Next thing I try was to install the ODBC driver from oracle.
And I install the Oracle 7.3 ODBC driver. and client software (and uninstall the 8 ver.)
there were no aparently problems, but my Access DB says:
Connection to ODBC ODBC2Oracle fails.
Then I thuogth it was the Oracle Version. and I try with the ODBC ver. 8 and client SW(uninstall the 7.3 ver.)
but it says.
the setup routines for the ODBC driver ODBC driver cloud not be loaded due to system error code 31.
and then
cloud not load the setup or traslation library.
I don't know what else to do, so if somebody knows I will be very thanksfull.

I recently had similar errors on a Win95 PC. The Personal Oracle
for Win98 CD wouldn't install on a Win95 PC.
I upgraded to Win98 and it installed and worked.

The following regards Oracle ODBC drivers-
You must have an Oracle product with SQLNet installed before you
can make the Oracle ODBC driver work.
The version of the ODBC driver to get is supposed to correspond
to the SQLNet or Net8 Client version you're running.
You should only install the version of the ODBC driver that
matches the version of the Oracle client you have. In other
words--
ODBC driver     Oracle client
8.0.5.10      8.0.5.x.x
8.0.6.2      8.0.6.x.x
8.1.5.7      8.1.5.x.x
8.1.6.2      8.1.6.x.x
Start up the Oracle installer and look at the list of products
already installed.
After installing the Oracle8 ODBC Driver and Configuring Net8

before using the Oracle8 ODBC Driver, you must configure the data
source.

Upgrade your RAM to at least 4GB's. Your machine can support 6GB's, but upgrade to 4GB's first. Regardless of what Apple says, you need at least 4GB's to run Lion properly.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your best method would be to connect via USB and transfer that way, since videos are not transferred using photostream.
However you can stop photos on your mac being added to photostream in the iPhoto preferences > photostream by unchecking the automatic upload box.

Place the convenient numbers in either Phone favorites, or make those numbers the only contacts the person has.

When i upgraded from LION to MOUNTAIN LION it made NO difference at all to my MyBook Live !!!

We have 2 iphone 4. Not upgraded to OSI5. We share the same Apple id to buy, etc. How can we set up the same Apple id but a diiferent icloud id and still see both iphones on find my iphone?

We would all like to share the same Apple id so that we can make purchases from the same account ... that way we only fund one account. We would like to upgrade to OSI 5 and keep/share the same Apple id but be able to set up different iCloud accounts for when we sync our phones. How can we do that? You could and should set up different iCloud accounts in "Settings > iCloud", so that every user has its own email account, calendars, reminders, notes, storage for backups and app data (files etc.), by the way everyone could also use his own account for iMessage (Settings > Messages > Send & Receive) and FaceTime (Settings > FaceTime) so that you all could write and call each other.
Next the Apple ID for music, apps and other media: You all could just set up the ssame Apple ID in "Settings > iTunes & App Stores" for all your media purchases like songs, movies, apps etc.

How can I say to the ODBC Driver to ignore the double quotes (")

I have an application that does many SELECT's to the DB, but there is no predifined case, i.e. some developers do the commands in lowercase while others do it on uppercase.
I'm trying to solve this in the easy way, i.e. I'm trying to find a way to say to the ODBC driver: Whenever you see SELECT "column_name" from "table_name" or SELECT "COLUMN_NAME" from "TABLE_NAME", please ignore the double quotes so that these commands won't be different to the Oracle DB.
Is there a way to do this?
I don't want to change AAALLLL the classes. It would take me weeks.

That function is called on the MFC's (Microsoft Foundation Classes) in dbcore.cpp --> CDatabase::GetConnectInfo
If it is possible to change the answer from this function (SQLGetInfo) it would solve me all my problems.

I can't set up the Printer!

I was trying to set up the printer to use my printer: Canon IP3000.
However, whenever I connect the USB to my iBook G4, it didn't work at all.
I went to "System Preference" to fix that problem, I went to Printer and clicked on "add" and select "USB". Didn't work at all.
Somebody help me!

How can I set up an external harddrive with time machine that already has data on it without losing the data?

I have an external hard drive that I use to hold photos and other files on that no longer fit on my macbook. I also use the external hard drive for back ups set up with time machine. I don't believe I ever did anything to partition it, I've just always had separate folders (Photos, Music, etc) with one being called "Back Ups" (or Backups.backupdb) that my time machine back ups would automatically go into. Recently, I made the switch from my HDD in my macbook to a new SSD of the same size. I used the back ups on the external hard drive to restore all my content, which all worked out fine. My problem now is in using my external hard drive. When I plug it in, it no longer seems to be working with time machine. Also, I was organizing some files within the external hard drive, and when I dragged one into a folder, it took a while to load. Before, it was instantaneous moving a file already on the external hard drive to another location within it. Can anyone help me in getting the external hard drive to work with my new SSD? I don't want to delete any of the folders or back ups that are already on it, since that's the only place I have some of those files. Please let me know if you need anymore details. Thanks! First, she has to be logged in to the same iTunes account as she used on the old computer.
Second, when she plugs the iPhone in to iTunes, right click on the phone name and select transfer purchases.
Third, enter one contact and one calendar entry into the new computer's addressbook/calendar.
After that, she should be fine.

How can I set up the HP photosmart d110a on a mac?

I own a macbook running lion(2010), setup on a wireless network run through a Linksys WRT110 wireless router. I also bought the HP Photosmart d110, and it sets up and works fine through my windows laptop, but on my mac, I can't get it set up to scan at all. I defined a static IP address for the printer. I also printed out the wireless network test, the network is set up on WPA-PSK encryption. When I try to detect the printer using the Setting/Print and Scan, it doesn't find the printer. I can print if I put in the IP address, but it won't scan. Is there any way to set this printer up, or do I need to get a new printer?

I also wanted to mention that after looking through this forum, I did check the router firmware, and my router is running the newest firmware already.

Can you set/adjust the clip date in iMovie11?

Ideally I should be able to do what I used to do in iMovie06, right click on the clip and change or set the date. I haven't been able to do that in iMovie09.
( iMovie09 shows me the date when I hover over clips, but I cannot change it. If I click on properties, I can adjust many things, except the date. Sometimes I am able to change the date by changing the file name inside the iMovie Events directory to something like "clip-2010-08-01.dv", but that doesn't always work).
