Can't sign in into skype after signing out of emai...

I am writing this for a friend who is running Windows7, and has the latest version of Skype.
After he has checked his email, whether it is hotmail (outlook) or bigpond, he is unable to sign into Skype. The circle in the centre of Skype just keeps spinning and will not sign in.
If he tries to sign into Skype before using his email clients he is able to sign in straight away.
Also if he shuts down his computer after reading email and then restarts, he can sign in with no problem.
Has anyone any idea why this is happening?

I was even on customer support chat and gave her permission to remotely access my comp. She worked on it for over an hour and I still get stuck on the blue signing in screen. Y'all seriously have some work to do with this app. A few of my friends are having the same issues also, so now I know for a fact it is not something to do with my comp, antivirus or firewall settengs. I have unistalled and reinstalled Skype 6 times already. Now I know why I used Yahoo messenger for so long. I never had any issues with it.
Reboot your computer in Safe Mode with Networking and then try to start Skype.

hi! i need help this past two days suddenly my skype went to log.out and im trying to sign in, it says that my skype account is already sign in on this computer, in order to sign in i have to sign out my skype first.. how???? i try to uninstall and install again..still same..

Try to reset all Skype settings:
Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. Go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %appdata% and then press Enter or click the OK button. The Windows File Explorer will pop up. There locate a folder named “Skype”. Rename this folder to something different, e.g. Skype_old.
Next go to Windows Start and in the Search/Run box type %temp%\skype and then press Enter or click the OK button. Delete the DbTemp folder.
Restart Skype.
N.B. If needed, you will still be able to re-establish your call and chat history. All data is still saved in the Skype_old folder.

I can't sign in into Skype

My laptop recently broke so I had to switch to my old PC but I can't sign in into Skype. I changed my password and I can sign in just fine on my tablet. My internet connection is working normally. Tried installing some older versions but it didn't help. I have the same OS (Windows XP) on my PC as I had on my laptop.
When I try signing in with my microsoft account I get an error saying 'Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.' and when I try signing in with my skype name it says my details weren't recognized. (I usually have problems singing in with my skype name everywhere - my tablet or the skype website, but my microsoft account works just fine on those)
I wonder if anyone can help me with this? It's really inconvenient to do not be able to use Skype on my PC.

Try to reset all Internet Explorer settings:

Next reset LAN settings:
Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN settings. Make sure that the only option selected is “Automatically detect settings”.
Next clear all Temporary Internet Files:
Open Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options -> General. In the section “Browsing history” press the “Settings” button and in the next window the “View files” button. Delete all files from the Temporary Internet Files folder.

I rememmber mu user name and the pass to the skype, and it works when I'm trying to sign in at www.skype.com
but when I'm trying to sign in with the same userand a pass it don't allow me

The problem is with your Internet Explorer and JavaScript. The new login screen, introduced with Skype 5.5 version, is not working on computers where Internet Explorer and javaScript are not functioning properly. This procedure will enable the old login screen, which does not require Internet Explorer:
Quit Skype. Make sure that you don’t see any Skype.exe processes in Windows Task Manager. If necessary, then stop these processes. Open C:\Program Files\ folder. If you have 64-bit Windows then it should be C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder. Find the Skype folder and then Phone. Right click on the Skype.exe file and select: Send to – Desktop (create shortcut). Right click on the newly created shortcut and select Properties and then the Shortcut tab. In the Target field you will see now: "C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" (or with (x86) if you are on 64-bit Windows). Click with your mouse on the text in the Target field and move your curser one space after the last quotation sign and add the text /legacylogin. The text in the Target field should now read:
"C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /legacylogin
Click OK to save the changes. Start Skype using this new shortcut. Can you now login to Skype?
Note, that this is a temporary solution only, because some other options, as e.g. Add a contact, may still not be working in Skype.

I can't log in into Skype from my computer!!

I've been having some problems with my computer lately, and now Skype is having problems
I want to log in, because it is urgent to have a chat via Skype, but I can't! I start up the program, then put my correct username and password, but when I press enter, it doesn't log in, then I click on the "Sign me in" button, but it doesn't respond. The complete screen, except for the text boxes, are like frozen
I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, but with no success. I've ran all scans with my antivirus and anti-malware programs, restarted my computer, but nothing, I can't log in...
Please, help me

Safari... can't stay logged into sites after navigating away, or switching to/from other applications.

Ok so I have a Macbook Pro(2009) with Safari Version 5.1.2 and I can't stay logged into websites. For example.... If I'm logged into facebook, I then navigate to google and then back to facebook, I will then be logged out. Now before you say it, yes, I check the keep me logged in buttons on sites and this is not even close to being exclusive to facebook, just merely an example. This also occurs if I stay on the web page I'm signed in on then open up, lets say, itunes. When I then go back to the webpage, I'm signed out again. This is rediculously frustrating. It makes safari completely unusable with any application or with multiple webpages. I usually love safari and never wanted to switch to any other browser but I don't think I can hold out much longer with this. Also, I'm not sure if theres any other info that someone would need to help diagnose this bug but let me know and I'll post it. Thanks for any help in advance.

I, too, have this problem. I have used Macs for years and have never had this problem before. It has just started and I'm not sure if I did a Safari update recently which might have created the issue. From reading on-line posts, this apparently has existed for years and now it is just my turn.
Firefox works fine; I stay logged in on Firefox 'forever' but I prefer Safari. If it continues, I'll be using Firefox.

Cannot insert pages into PDFs after signed with a digital signature in adobe 9

Is there any workaround that allows me to insert additional pages into a SIGNED pdf?
Background:
Author of a form create a form that needs multiple signatures and pages appended and converts to PDF for signing. Person 1 signs it, and sends it to person 2. Person 2 needs to include additional documentation and inserts the pages before signing.
In the new version, I noticed that it changes the document security which may prevent the insert after you sign it. How do I disable this?

You may not like the answer, but it cannot be disabled. In previous versions, when you added a page it invalidated the signature. Starting with Acrobat 9, once the PDF file is signed you can no longer make changes that effect the content of the core PDF. The change was made to protect the integrity of the signature. You can still add comments, but (without getting too geeky) comments are not part of the core PDF like pages are, they live in a separate level. Also, you can still add form data, but like comments, what you type into a form field is not part of the core PDF.
The bottom line is, we made the change to protect the integrity of the signture, and the signature protects the integrity of the document. Thus, changes to the document are no longer allowed in signed files.

Signing back into skype with a new email address

HiI'm trying to get back on to skype, but i have recently changed services and my email address. I can't get on to my old email address to get the password so what can I do???

If you really did migrate from MobileMe to iCloud, you would have the same address as before.
It sounds as though you didn't actually migrate from MobileMe to iCloud, you just started up a brand new iCloud account.
You won't be able to access MobileMe now. If you failed to move everything over to iCloud properly, then all the data and the account has been deleted as Apple said it would at the end of July.
To get everything to sync, you need to make sure all your devices and computers are logged into the same iCloud account. Possibly what has happened is some are still using the old (now deleted) MobileMe account and some are using the new iCloud account.

Automatically signed out of skype after signing in

Evertime i log in it automatically logs me out instantly.

Im operating on Windows 8 and Im thinking its not the software that's giving the problem because evrytime i log in with my main account it automtically logs me out but when i use my sub account it doesnt and it works perfectly fine. Please help.

Can't boot back into OSX after installing windows 8.1

I have a late 2013 MacBook pro 15 inch with retina display.
After I got windows 8.1 up and running with a disk copy I tried to go back to the mac os side, but after I held down option/alt after restarting and clicked on the osx partition but all that happened was a white "no sign" showed on the screen and my computer began to boot back into windows.
I don't know if all my mac stuff is gone, so should I try and use osx recovery?

Try this first. Do a backup. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart or hold down the option/alt key during a restart and select Recovery Volume). Run Disk Utility Verify/Repair and Repair Permissions until you get no errors. Then re-install the OS.

Can i take iphone4s into genius after been to service centre

Hi
Sent my IPhone 4S into service centre as it was not charging the battery anymore. They have told me that there is physical damage to the dock connector and that i have to pay a "Fee".
I spent a long time on the phone with them explaining that this is rubbish, the phone is always in a full case and i've always used the original sync cable, never rammed it in, never even found it tight or anything, etc etc. There is no way that the dock has been damaged so i suggested that something may have failed in the connector itself and then when i have plugged the sync cable in it has caused the issue? They totally dismissed this and told me to make the choice - pay the fee or have a dead iphone back.
I am not prepared to accept this, my iphone gets treated like the crown jewels and no way has it been subject to damage - i want to know if i received it back and took into a genius bar to explain would there be a chance they would repair or replace (The phone is still in the 1yr warranty)
Any advice or assistance would really be appreciated - my long standing faith in APple is dimishing very fast!

Thanks Tim, this whole incident is a joke - I have so many Apple products and this is the first time i have had to use the service centre but will definately be the last. No more Apple products for me after the way i've been treated.
There was obviously a problem with the dock connector and when i plugged my sync cable in this has caused the issue - But Apple will not even consider this. The phone has NEVER been mistreated and always very well looked after and always genuine Apple accessories used. Very disappointed and wont bother to take in to a genuis, i will just get the phone back faulty and throw in the bin and forget about the whole sorry experience. Apple no more!

HT5251 Can't import AVCHD into iPhoto after upgrade

I created a new iPhoto library after doing the upgrade and tried all the suggested methods for importing my avchd folders and it didn't work! Am I missing something? The quicker they dump avchd the better!

I have the same problem with iPhoto 9.3's advertised ability to import AVCHD videos, and I also carefully followed Apple's instructions. (I am using the latest version of Mac OS X too; 10.7.4.) I get lots of "unreadable files" due to "unrecognized format", even with MTS files.
In addition, Apple's instructions imply that the camera should either mount and allow AVCHD movies to be imported in the usual way, or not mount at all, in which case Apple's instructions for copying appropriate folders should be followed. However, my Panasonic FZ150 mounted normally, but no AVCHD movies showed in the list to be imported.
I reported this to Apple via "Provide iPhoto Feedback" in the iPhoto menu.
Has anyone got this to work with the publicly-released version of iPhoto 9.3?

When it restarted, all it gives me is a dark grey screen with the Apple logo and boxes for login criteria. My current name and password don't work and there is no option to create a new account.
I've tried restarting the system in single user mode and recovery mode and the system does not respond. I'm out of options. Help??

Can't scan images into photoshop after installing Yosemite

Why am i getting the following error message after installing Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and trying to scan in photos through Photoshop CS6: Could not complete your request because a SOFn, DQT, or DHT JPEG marker is missing before a JPEG SOS marker?

MP Navigator is a Canon product, first check with Canon to see if they have a Yosemite compatible version.
