Can't sign in - is there an App vs Desktop conflic...

Hi guys
On our windows 8.1. the Skype App is working fine - but when trying to sign in to the desktop version on the same pc it never happens. The white circly just continues forever, never logging me in.
- would you have any idea why this is happening?
I have tried uninstalling the App, plus reinstall desktop version but still no luck.
We want to use the desktop version on orde rto be able to screenshare. 

I have the same problem.  I found that by saving the file to FILENAME.pdf and reopening with Preview or Adobe it works.  I saw another post that suggested that long filenames that are forwarded to others are renamed with a .dat extension.  I never had this problem until I upgraded to the latest MAC OS.  Could that be the problem?

  • Can't sign in in Creative Cloud app

    Hello,
    I can't sign into my CC account on my creative cloud desktop app.
    Whenever I type in my account details and hit "submit" I receive the answer: You have been signed out.
    I tried uninstalling the system and everything else, but nothing helps.
    Logging into my CC account in my browser works fine.
    System: Mac OS X Mavericks
    The error has already occured before the system update.

  • I can't sign in with the YouTube app that comes with my iPhone?

    For some reason I can't sign into YouTube using the preinstalled app on my iPhone 4. I can sign in okay with Safari. Any ideas. I've tried the 2 step verification setup with Google but either I'm not signing in with the special password correctly or it's not working.

  • Suddenly can't sign in to iTunes or App store

    I logged out of the itunes and app store and now can't log back in, it just keeps having the spinning wheel at the top next to my wifi signal. It's not giving any error and i've also tried rebooting the phone. Any suggestions?

  • My apple ID is correct on my App page but when I try to update my Apps it has an incorrect Apple ID so I can't sign in to update my apps.  I have tried signing out and signing back in, I have turned my phone off, the settings is correct too.

    I cannot update my apps in the app store because it asks me to sign in using an incorrect username account.  The username in settings-general-apps is correct and the username on the App store page is correct.  The only place it is incorrect is when I try to update my apps.  How do I update the username when trying to update apps?

    I had the same thing happen today on my wife's phone.  I couldn't find any answers on the support site and of course I could not get any help from Apple since my phone was old.  I kept digging and figured out how to fix the problem.  I opened the app store app and signed out of the old id and then signed back in using my new id.  It looks like this may have fixed the problem.

    On your Mac.
    Messages can sign in to AIM, Jabber, Yahoo, iMessages and Bonjour and will need a password for the first 4.
    In the case of the AIM account you could be using an Apple ID ending in either @mac.com, @me.com or @icloud.com  and in this case the password needs to be 16 characters or less.
    Google Mail IDs can be used for Jabber accounts in Messages (added under Google)  but you do have to enable "Talk" at your Google Account settings first.
    Similarly the Facebook has to have "Chat" enabled to give you the Facebook Chat ID to set up as a Jabber ID in Messages.
    If you are using an email as a Apple ID  the password with Apple may be different to the place the emails comes from.
    If you have linked it to iCloud you may have been asked to update an @me.com or @icloud.com password which may also effect the original Apple ID password.
    You also list iOS 7.0.3 but have not said if this is an the iPhone (or other iOS device) or the Mac.

    Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device.  Once this is done test the results.  If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

    I downloaded the Skype app,  but I cant log into my account. I tried to reset it 3x and each time I tried to put in my facebook password it doesn't recognize my account. I'm now locked out. It's so frustrating becuase you can't even do a live-chat with a skype person (dam Microsolft!) My account is set up through facebook but I can't access skype through the app on my Iphone - I tried to change my password, but it doesn't help. I need it becuase I will be traveling internationally. Help!

    You can't sign in because there is nothing to sign in to anymore. Photoshop.com is dead and gone, has been for many months now. Just don't try to sign in and don't use the welcome screen, since that will always hang up searching for the non-existent photoshop.com server.
