Can't sign in on Android phone.

I have not been able to connect to Skype for several weeks now on my Android phone. I keep getting a message saying: "Unable to connect to Skype. You cannot be signed in at this time. Please check your mobile network settings and try again."
My web access on my phone is just fine, i have no problems accessing web sites or anything. And I have been able to access Skype on my Mac, although I have had some issues there (i can access fine on my wifi at home, but can not get on when i use a hotspot off my phone, not sure if that's related or not).
I'm located in S Korea, if that matters.
I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app several times. So I should have the latest version.

Android version 4.4.4 (stock)
Olleh mobile network
Skype version 5.1.0.58677

I would suggest a) resetting the password on desktop https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ive-lost-my-firefox-sync-account-information#w_iaove-forgotten-my-sync-password-ae-how-do-i-reset-it_2 and then b) trying again on your Android phone or tablet
If the above doesn't help and since we can't read minds :-) we need more troubleshooting details to help you:
# What version of Android are you using (e.g. Jellybean 4.1-4.3, Kitkat 4.4, Lollipop 5.0, 5.1, etc)?
# What version of Firefox for Android are you using? (please try the latest version which is currently FF37.0.1)
# What did you do exactly, what happened and what did you expect? (details please! including the steps in the video you followed)

     I'm trying to do the same thing, and have had limited success with an app called Control Plane. Please understand that I am pretty computer illiterate so this may not be the best way, or even a good way to accomplish this.   http://www.controlplaneapp.com/
     It allows you to automatically toggle bluetooth(and many other aspects) on or off under certain contexts. I tried setting it up to detect the display connection but sometimes it would detect the display, and sometimes it wouldn't. So I set it up to detect the specific power adapter for the display. So when I plug the monitor power adapter in it switches to the context i labeled "monitor" and I set an action to toggle bluetooth on under this context, when I unplug the power adapter it switches to a context I've named "battery" and turns the bluetooth off.
     Automatically turning the bluetooth on is specific to only connecting the monitor power adapter, when other power adapters are connected it does not turn bluetooth on. But it is limited in the fact that if I have bluetooth on in instances other than the monitor connection, and then disconnect any power adapter, it will automatically turn the bluetooth off.
     Also if my computer is in clamshell mode, and therefore asleep, when I plug the monitor+power adapter in it doesn't automatically turn on bluetooth, and I cannot use my bluetooth keyboard or trackpad to wake the computer. This forces me to open the computer momentarily to allow it to wake up and control panel to turn on bluetooth for me.
     Since my main issue was that I didn't want bluetooth on constantly to save battery life, this works for me, but it is not ideal. Ideally connecting the monitor to the computer in clamshell mode would wake it from sleep, but as of now I can't figure out how to make it do that. If you have any suggestions on how to make this process more efficient please let me know. Hope this helped.

Hi all, I have created a new plain Skype account yesterday. I works fine on my laptop, where I can sign in without any problems. However, on my Android phone I just get the error message "Oops, please check your details" and Skype keeps showing the login screen. Password and username that I enter are definitely correct. With my old plain Skype account I can login on my Android phone (and laptop) without any problem. I have already force stopped the Skype app, cleared the data, uninstalled and reinstalled it. I have also made sure that I wasn't logged in on my laptop. The only apparent difference seems to be the hyphen (minus sign) in my new Skype name. Might this cause the problem? Oh, I have to update my story. I spoke too soon in my earlier post . Only after about a few days, or something like a week, the error came back again. And I'm QUITE certain that after changing the password, it would work again! (again.) And yes it makes me think special charcaters are not really the problem, but that 'whatever' the problem is, resetting your password seems to provide TEMPORARY relief! I haven't bothered to update my password since this second failure, because of the hassle of updating it on more than 3 devices I own. I have been missing out, no skype on my android phone. This i a real bug. there hasn't been an android updates for months (more than a year? I don't know), why aren't devs acknowledging and looking into this?...

I can't sign in to iMessage on my phone. It says "please check network connection" however i can sign into iCloud on my phone & can sign into iMessages from my mac.
Obvvioulsy I've tried a hard reset & I restored my phone to stock yesterday.

So, considering there have been 20 odd pages on queries since I posted this I'm guessing I aint gonna get any help here, so does anyone know if it's possible to get help from Apple without having to pay? I cant get to a genius bar. I'm looking for an email address maybe? I have shut down my phone and rebooted but no change. Will try at home on wifi and see if I can do it. I can use my Icloud account and sign into it and use the find my phone that way. I know I am using the correct password.

I did a full erase on my webOS 1.4, and I can't sign back in.
I get:
"You need to be connected to your wireless service provider's network to sign in. When you are in a location with service, please try again."
I am not sure what that means. I seen to have alirght signal. Could I be using a wrong password?

Can i tether macbook to android phone?

I have a Sony android phone and MacBook Pro (late 2009). I've found a few programs (see below) that will allow me to tether computer and phone, but none of the software developers are recognized by Apple. I'd prefer to use Apple recognized software to take a different approach.
I only need the tether for a week of vacation, so would prefer not to pay for it.
Suggestions?

I am trying to run a debug for a game I am developing on my phone. However, I am not sure how to do that. I know how to publish and get what I have so far on the phone though.
I am using Flash CS5 and managed to get my hands on the Adobe Air For Android 2.5 extension
I tried publishing to my phone (once without launching app and the other without launching) and then hitting Debug-> Begin Remote Debug Session -> Actionscript 3.0. That does nothing however. Am I supposed to receive some sort of dialog regarding connecting to the computer or something? My permissions of the app when I published to my phone allowed for internet access.
I did notice there were two other debugs related to AIR, one of them was Debug in AIR Launcher (mobile), which was greyed out.

You will need a desktop Firefox to set up an account unfortunately. This could be done on any computer that can run Firefox. Might be good to use http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable for this purpose. You will need to make sure you get all 3 bits of info from the setup.
* Sync username
* Sync password
* Sync key
Then use the manual setup options for Firefox Sync on your tablets.

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

According to the DPS Bug Fix Release Notes, this issue is supposed to be solved:
"Issue resolved in which the "Sign In" button does not appear in Entitlement viewers that do not have "Send App ID and Version" selected in Viewer Builder."
