Can't sign in or click on Buy App button?

Ok I'm trying to get OS X Lion. When I open up the App Store, and go to the OS X Lion page, I try to click on the $29.99 price button, which turns into the green Buy App button. When I cilck on that, it thinks about it for a second, and then goes back to the original price button. No matter how many times I press it, same result. Then I noticed that I couldn't even sign into the App store. I hope that this is a total beginner mistake and I just forgot to do something, because then at least I'd still get Lion out of it. Any ideas?

Same situation here. I also can't purchase anything on the iTunes store through iMac, MacBook Pro,  iPhone or iPad which leads me to believe Apple is going through some iTunes store issues today.  I'll relax for now

    Just as a precautionary note: be very careful which sites you use to download your music from; if the site is offering something for free which costs money elsewhere it can quite often contain hidden additions (malware) or some other unwanted stuff.

    I can't Sign in to the iTunes and App Store since i update to iOS 7 with my iphone 4s. I try in settings iTunes & App Store with my Apple ID and Password and still can't Sing In

    Same issue. Since last update (a few days ago), acces to itunes account failed very often.
    - Music iTunes Match doesn't work anymore because it cannot log.
    - Renting video often failed because it cannot "verify authorization".
    I tried already several restart, reinitialize, restore... all without improvement.
    PS: of course my apple account is working fine with other devices. This issue concerns only Apple TV.

    I would first try resetting the iPod:
    Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
    button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Over react much?
    Check your purchase history.  See if it actually charged you twice.
    If it did then contact itunes support for a refund.
    No need be so over dramatic.

  • Buy App button not working iTunes 10.6 Windows 7 (used to work)

    Hello Community - color me stumped beyond compare...
    I can no longer make purchases of apps (free or otherwise) using my Apple ID on iTunes 10.6.1.7 on Windows 7.  It used to work as of Tue 10/2/2013 around 8pm. Later that evening it stopped working and hasn't allowed a purchase since.  Clicking on FREE APP button or {PRICE} BUY APP button, visually makes the appearance that the button is clicked but doesn't do anything after that.
    If I'm logged in to iTunes using my account - it visually makes the appearance that it the purchase button is clicked and does nothing.  If I'm logged out, it visually makes the appearance that it is clicked and it doesn't ask for me to log in like it used to.
    I've tried several solutions, all of them fails.  I've conducted closed experiments, and still cannot isolate the solution.
    Not wanting to go to iTunes 11, I upgraded to 10.6.3 (64x version) iTunes for Windows 7, and got the same non-responsive results.
    I've had someone try to download on their system (they were using iTunes 11 on their PC) and it downloadeds using my Apple ID account.
    I've rolled my PC's Win 7 system settings to a previous day when it was working, and it's still not working back to iTunes 10.6.1.7.
    I've check iTunes diagnostics / firewall settings and although the iTunes diagnosis says: "Windows Firewall is on." AND it says "iTunes is NOT enabled in Windows Firewall." this is not accurate as iTunes is showing firewall enabled in Windows. (see image)
    I've reset my modem/router (which is wired to this PC)... still no downloads.
    I'm just stumped - anyone else experiencing similar issues or has anothe idea for solution?
    I've ask for Apple's help but have not heard anything in 24+ hours, so I'm reaching out to the community.

    PS: The downloads have also stopped on an older laptop using my ID on an older iTunes using wireless to the same modem/router whereas downloads used to work on that laptop.

    UPDATE: Welp - my solution was downloading iTunes 11; it restored the ability to purchase items.  On the minus side I already miss coverflow, but on the plus side my appnabbing hobby is back on track... 240 downloads later.  Missed out on 20 travel apps and a smattering of some others that went free and went back to sale price during the 2+ day "outage", but that's alright - they'll be back to free in another 2 years.
    The rest of iTunes 11 is not as bad as I thought; it will take some time getting used to it.  You might miss coverflow display view as you only get TILES view or LIST view to choose from.  Also, within the Apps Library it does not give you a count of the number of highlighted apps like iTunes 10 did.  I'm sure that was an oversight in design - likely to comeback in another version.
    Although you can no longer double-click a category to create break-out windows as iTunes 10 allowed, I was happy to see you can get a separate download window if you click the DOWN ARROW next to search field while something is downloading.  That's a plus.
    Apple Support has only reached out once during the 2+ days to suggest logging out of iTunes, close the program, and re-launch / login and try to download again. (by the way, that did not work).  If I waited one day apiece to try out seven different trouble-shoots one at a time, I'd be a week into trouble-shooting with no solution in sight.
    If you are fearful as I was of iTunes 11, don't be.  It works... just not like how you remember.  Plus you can always go back and get a previous version of iTunes for PC - just Google keywords: "archived versions of itunes pc" (without quotes).  The first hit is comprehensive.  The site used to have MAC archived versions, but no more; I have not tried searching for Mac archive.

    I am from Bangladesh, I recently bouhgt iPad Air 2. Now I am interested to buy Apps from iTunes Store with my Credit Card, Can I? I am asking this question because yesterday I used my credit card to buy GoodReader Apps with price tag $0.99 from iTunes Store, after clicked BUY option then I put my credit card information as soon as Apps Store showing me a message that my address mismatch with the provided with the bank. As a result I haven't able BUY the App from the store, but my credit card account charged with $0.99. But I did not got the app GoodReader with price Tag $0.99.
    Please give me a proper guide. And also why the iTunes Store charged my credit card account though they have not permit me to buy the app? How to claim to reverse the amount?

    Each time that you try to add a card, or change its details on an account, a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - your card issuer should remove within a few days or so.

    In terms of buying content, you have to be in a country to use its store, and have a billing address in that country on your account (you also cannot use a credit card issued by a bank from another country). As far as I can see there isn't currently an iTunes store in Bangladesh,  until if/when Apple open one then unfortunately you won't be able to buy any iTunes content (apps, music etc)

  • Can a program a double click event for a button in Flash Catalyst?

    I currently have a button programed in FC with a single click. I would like the exact same behavior to happen whether there is a single or double click on the same button.
    Is there a way to do this in FC? If not can I pull it into another program to edit the code?

    Thanks for letting me know.
    Unfortunatly it looks like I can't upgrade unless I upgrade my whole suite, which is a bummer. We just spent a small fortune on upgrading everyone from CS3 - SC5. I will have to check with our account rep, but I doubt I can get another software update approved this year. Maybe next.

    I was able to sign in to the native YouTube app before, but now when I try sign in it says "You must sign in to YouTube's website to continue." So I press sign in and it takes me to my Google account settings and I sign in, which also signs me into the YouTube website, but when I go back to the Apple YouTube app it still asks me to sign in to YouTube's website. Anyone know any solutions?

    I have a mac book pro which is about 1year and 2months old and I recently purchased and dowloaded the new mac osx mountain lion using the app store. I followed every step and agreed to all the terms and conditions. However now i cannot access the app store and I cannot sign into game center.
    Firstly, when i open the app store it says 'cannot connect to the app store' but somehow it can tell me that there is an update available. I have never had the problem before.
    Secondly, with game center I can open it but when I type in my apple ID and click sign in nothing happens.

    Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device.  Once this is done test the results.  If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.

    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
    Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
    Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.

  • Can't sign in/out of WatchESPN/ABC apps on Apple TV

    I have access to WatchESPN and ABC via my AT&T cable subscription, but I can't access any of the live content on the apps. (I get a "locked" symbol for all Live content on the ESPN app.) I went through the cable verification process when I first turned on the Apple TV 3 weeks ago, but now get the message "not authorized" when I click any locked video event. ESPN has told me to go to Settings->Help & Support to signout of the app (in order to re-verify my subscription) but signing out is NOT an option there or anywhere that I can find within the ESPN app. The ABC app is the same deal - there is nowhere in Settings for me to sign out and start over. (In Help, it even lists the instructions for signing out, but again, there is NO signout option in Settings.)
    I can stream from the iPad WatchESPN app via Airplay with no problem, so my cable subscription isn't the issue. ESPN customer service keeps telling me to just go ahead and signout.... I feel like I'm going crazy.

    Nevermind - I reset my router & all seems fine. I was thinking that since I was hardwired via ethernet, that the internet wasn't the issue, but I was wrong.

  • Can't sign out - even after deleting the app every...

    I have skype on my iPad mini, iPhone 5 and Macbook pro.
    The other night I realized I was getting skype notifications on my phone, even though I wasn't signed in there. I deleted the app from there (after signing in and out and failing to get anywhere), and my iPad, and even my Mac. I still appear signed on, even if I try to change my status to 'invisible' or 'offline'. Any ideas? I'm wondering if I'm going to have to make a new account.
