Can't sign in problem!

Hi, I got this new iPad.2 and I made a purchase on iTunes Store, because a friend of mine needed to check his account I singed out of mine, but when I tried to sign in again I saw this message "cannot connect to iTunes Store " what should I do now? :(

Try this.
Quit the iTunes app completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Then try again.

    I was using a Mac Book Pro 15" supplied with Snow Leopard. I have created an ID and used it to purchase apps such as Aperture. After buying an iPhone 5S, I wanted to share the contacts and was suggested by the seller to upgarde the Snow Leoprad to Maverics and use the iCloud. After installing the Maverics following happened:
    - I can use iCloud and share the contacts, mission completed
    - the Mac is running slow, really slow (as an old pc)
    - Aperture can not be used, a major problem since all of my photos are stroed on an external disk via Apeture
    - I can not sign in to App Sore to refresh my purchases and see if there is an update for Aperture
    - I tried to sign in by clicking the forgot password and entering my ID (e-mail address) but have received no mail - total mistery
    - I also see that the HP 7610 printer icon is not active and assume that will also be a problem
    What should I do? I need a fast running computer. I need Aperture, all of my private and business photos are accessible only via Aperture. I can sign in with the same ID/password on an iPad. The problem is obviously due to installing the Maverics. I do not have a time machine/capsule.
    Urgently need support, please help.

    Correction: I did correctly enter my Apple ID and its password. And there are no parental controls.
    But I found a fix: I went to the Featured page and it showed me as logged in. I clicked the Account link and in the pop-up for that entered my Apple ID and Password. Now I can once again see my Purchases.
    It would seem to have been some undue delay or glitch at the Apple server end.

    Have you tried to give your iPad a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if it helps.

    Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device.  Once this is done test the results.  If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.

  • TS3988 I can't sign in to my iMac iCloud acct. because it locked me out after several attempts to enter the password. Said to reset ID/password. I did, didn't fix the problem.

    My iMac, early 2008 24", operating system Yosemite; I tried to fix a communication problem between Apple devices on iCloud. I have iCloud and iCloud Drive. The problem is with iCloud. I attempted to enter my password but apparently too many times. I received the following message: You can’t sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons. It then directed me to iforgot.apple.com to change password/ID. I did, completed the process but it did not release the security lock out from the iCloud in my Preferences. I did this at least five times. Please identify a way to unlock the security system so I can now enter iCloud on my iMac.

    I have the same problem. This happens multiple times a day. I answer some questions and then unlock my account and then before long it all happens again. Extremely frustrating as I don't have a clue how to solve the problem.

    Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
    Update to the latest version of iTunes.
    Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
    Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
    Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
    An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
    Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
    Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

    I THINK I might have found out a fix. First, I went in and signed into iMessages, but left Facetime logged out. I then went in Settings and turned off FaceTime altoghter. Afterwards I went to ensure iMessages was still signed in (Paranoia perhaps lol). Then I went back in and re-enabled FaceTime. The information was inserted back in, but Caller ID for Facetime was unchecked, so I selected my email address instead of phone. And both have oddly been working fine and stayed signed in since. No password requests at all.
    I have zero clue why this works, but it does. I only figured it out thanks to obcessive behavoir and inablilty to accept it was broken lol. Anyone else with the issue want to confirm if it works for them as well?

    Just upgraded to iTunes 11. Can't sign in. " Store is having an issue. Try again later" When is later? I already don't like this upgrade. I also just deleted several apps from my iPad which I wanted to re-install now...not later whenever that is.

    It's a straightforward port-forwarding issue.
    You need to forward ports to the internal ip address of your apple tv as follows:
    TCP 123
    TCP 3689
    UDP 5353
    TCP 80
    TCP 4343
    TCP 53
    This may also solve other problems you may have with homesharing...

    If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
    It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

    FYI:  Some third party software can cause issues with the App Store >   Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text
    Apple is not responsible for incompatibility isssues with third party software.

  • Urgent help please (on holiday) Apple TV account sign-in problem - can't access ATV on holiday

    Hi guys
    I am on holiday in Thailand at a hotel with my wife and we both were looking forward to the streaming movies from the iPad to the ATV3.
    However, very upsettingly, the ATV froze and required a restore. Luckily, after pulling a few strings, I managed to restore the ATV using the hotel's computer and a blackberry USB cable. The restore has worked, and I'm now on the computers / settings area.
    I am now in my room and trying to set the ATV up. I have provided the hotel with the Wi-Fi address of the ATV (as I knew from day one that this would always be an issue which could be resolved with the ISP of the Hotel).
    I am unable to test the Wi-Fi network or log into iTunes as the ATV "can't sign in to the iTunes Store until the network time has been set". Can anybody help?
    Do I need to request the hotel's IT manager to tweak the Wi-Fi network settings?
    Is it possible to side step this if I get a network cable and connect directly?

    It is currently having trouble connecting to the network.
    Yes, if it is possible to connect via ethernet I would try that. Otherwise, you will need to speak to IT
