Why won't my password be accepted in setting up apple tv?
i'm having the same problem ever since the new update! i have no idea why it won't work, i've tried everything!

Every time I try to sign in to iTunes, it says my password is incorrect. So, I reset my password, sign in on my computer and it works. But when I sign in to a different device, it says my password is incorrect. Why?
Make sure you sign out of the other devices and then sign in with the new PW

This is driving me nuts. They've reset the router but that hasn't helped. I've tried so many times, yet still it keeps saying incorrect password, when it just isn't. Same problem with my wife's iPhone - and both are happy to join other wifi networks. Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Generally when attempting to join the public wifi at a hotel, it requires you to open a browser window to enter the username and password. Is that happening? Since it would affect all of your wifi settings, I'm hesitant to recommend going into Settings, General, Reset, Reset network settings, but that might be necessary. Have you tried to do a reset on the iPhone? Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release?. See if this helps.

My iPhone V will not connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. It says that the User Name or Password are incorrect even though they're not and I can log on directly to Exchange with the same parameters using the web browser.
I bought the phone when it came out last October. The connection did not work at first, then started without warning in December. It worked perfectly for 2 months then stopped again when IOS 6.1.2 was Installed.
Help please!I have forwarded these questions about the version of Exchange server that is being used and whether Microsoft host the mai themselves to the IT Dept but I will not get a reply from them until tomorrow.
In the meantime I have also tried:
Deleting and re-creating the account AGAIN!
And re-setting the phone (recommended as a solution to a similar problem with an iPad in another forum.
But please remember that:
The phone would not connect for 2 months after I bought it
Then started working unexpectedly in December
Then stopped working again when IOS 6.1.2. was installed
Also why am I the only person affected by this when colleagues with iPhone 3s and 4s who use the same mail system are not (I am still trying to find one with an iPhone V to see if their's works).
Like I said I think that there must be a fault, either with my own phone or with iPhone Vs in general. -
so in other words, I can NOT sign in on my account, much less authorize this laptop. can't even access help. have downloaded the latest itunes software, checked my firewall settings etc.... (the itunes help window even opens up with "itunes help is unavailable because your computer is not connected to the internet". granted I am basically computer illiterate, in other words if something isnt working my knowledge is pretty limited with tweaking things. I need some help!
On an Alenware laptop, this issue is often older drivers on the Bigfoot networking card.
Head to the drivers and downloads page for your model of Alienware at Dell. Check for newer versions of the drivers for your Bigfoot card. If you're behind and you update, can you get through to the Store (or Help) now? -
My computer told me I had to download a new verison of itunes, the old one wasn't allowing me to put music on. So I went to itunes.com like it said and followed everything and downloaded it but now I cannot open it because it says it was downloaded incorrectly. I tried again and again and it kept doing the same thing. What do I do?

I just updated my software for Apple TV; I keep getting the message that my password is incorrect, I know the code is correct and I have tried it multiple times. Apple TV worked fine before the upgrade. Any suggestions?

After you reset the password did you go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in? You have to.

Whenever I try to buy an app that costs it asks to verify my purchase, i have the choice to cancel or continue. I press continue and it asks for my password. I type this in and it keeps asking for it over and over again. After around 5 times it then tells me that my password is incorrect even though I know that it is correct. How do i fix this??If you have Restricted your MAIN account in the perental controls that may be the reason. You may have to create a new Administrators account to change the settings on the parent controls.

Restore back up of my iPhone-password not recognised. After restore, itunes can not restore because it says the password is incorrect. But I can sign into my apple account with the password. My iPhone is now set to factory settings as a new phone, what can i do to access the back up from my phone before I reset it.
That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

how can i sign in if my iphone4 says that my device (iphone4) can no longer create an appleid anymore?
I already sign out all accounts..and i enter my new appleid but i get the same answer..what should i do?Is it asking for a PIN (for a debit card) or the three-digit number on the back of the card (for a credit card)?

can't update apps on my iPhone 4s cos it says my daughter's Apple ID password is required: even though I'm signed in via my Apple ID in settings (she uses my Mac for her itunes and didn't sign out, i synced my phone and it's been like this ever since). And there's no option of signing her out, it seems? GRRRRR!

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

i can't sign in my apple Id account through the app store app on my mac book air but I am able to sign in through itunes.
