Can't sign in to get Updates

My credentials work when I sign in online but for some reason the desktop app to download updates keeps logging me out with the same credentials.

You do not need to "sign up" for downloading updates. Just run Software Update and let it access them directly thru the App Store.

Can not sign into itunes get error code 5002

I was able to sign into iTunes, but when attempting to download a song I received error code 5002 and to try back later. Now I Can not sign into ITunes at all and am still getting the code 5002. I've changed my credit card info via store.apple.com but this did not fix the problem. ran diagnostic check and everything is fine. Is this a problem on their end?

I fixed this error for my daughter after a while by working out that the address in her login profile was a different country from the iTunes and App store that she was logging into...
I also blogged about it to try to help others as this took out a good 6 hours of my Christmas evening trying to set up my kid's MBP.

How can i control which iView gets updated when a nav node gets clicked?

Hello,
Following setting: the content area of the desktop inner page inside the default frameworkpage usually consist of just one iView.
But what happens when there are 3 iViews inside? How do i have to call the pageloader which of the 3 iViews should get updated when a nav node of the detailed navigation is clicked?

Since you will be using the Merger Id property, they will be linked to a single link in navigational area.
Refreshing a page / clicking the link in navigation Pane will result in refreshing of all the iViews.

OK, Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Tiger Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If that doesn't fix it then this might sound scary, but I think we have to do it...

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.

OK so here is what seems to be the problem -- Apps and under which account they were purchased / downloaded. My wife had downloaded a slew of apps under my Apple ID in the past, so when she attempted to sign in with her Apple ID there is now a conflict (this was not an issue before iOS 5.1 or so it seems). This simple fact totally prevents access to the App Store. This explains why my iPhone could connect to the App Store (it only has apps downloaded with my Apple ID) and hers could not.
So we sat down and made a list of all of the apps on her iPhone and iPad (the ones she wanted to keep), then went into iTunes and clicked on APPS (under Library in the left column). Once you are in there, a list of apps installed appears. Right click (option-click) on each app icon to GET INFO -- this displays which Apple ID account was used to download that particular app. (Thanks Rysz)
Thankfully all of the apps that were causing the conflict were free, so it was simply a matter of deleting these particular apps off of iTunes (on her iMac -- right click to delete) as well as her iPhone and iPad. Then all you need to do is re-download them when she is signed back into the App Store with her Apple ID.
After I deleted all of the apps, I again tried to sign in to the App Store to re-download the apps she wanted to replace. But I was still getting the dreaded error message stating "Can't Connect to App Store". So on her iPhone I went to Settings and reset the network connection, signed back in to our Airport WiFi network. Tried again, no luck. Signed out of the App store and re-signed in, and glory hallelujah -- I was now able to access the App Store and start the download process for both the iPad and iPhone (thanks Thom_D for the suggestion).
Once everything was back to normal, plugged each device in separately to her iMac and resynced in iTunes. Knock on wood, I think it is now working like before.

I am trying to sign into Creative Clouid to download Indesign but all I am getting is the blie 'spinning wheel' 'thinking' icon. I can't seem to download Indesign from the web either. My CC membership is up to date and I can sign into Adobe with no problems. Can someone please help out?

If you have "Adblock Plus" try disabling, if active, or activating if disabled.
Status is changed at the "ABP" button on the toolbar. If disabling fixes problem, then you need to identify the filter line causing the problem and disable it.

Netzero says I can't sign in to get my email because my browser (firefox) isn't accepting cookies

Using Firefox I get to my home page (my netzero). Last Thursday when I tried to got to my webmail.netzero all I'm getting is a blank page that says loading but it never finishes loading. Prior to Thursday I had no problem. If I use IE instead of Firefox it goes to my email without a problem. I'm not getting any error message. Also got an email from firefox support. One of the items is enable cookies step 4 Expand the Cookies section??? Step 5 Check enable cookies and Accept cookies normally checkboxes. These two steps don't appear in the Privacy tab. I have also noticed the same "problem". I do not fully understand the impact of using the same ID on multiple computers and devices if I want to keep them all in sync.

HT4623 I have an iPad 4th generation and when I updated to iOS 7 I can't use FaceTime. Every time I tried to sign in I get a message asking me to check my Network connection. FaceTime and iMessage are the only application that give me this message.
