Can't sign in to Twitter via "Mail, Contacts

I just got a new Mini running 10.8.2. I've had no trouble setting up iCloud and Yahoo in "Mail, Contacts & Calendars", but when I try to set up Twitter, I am told that that name is already in use. Which of course it is because I'm signed in on my iPad and my iPod and my old laptop that runs 10.6. I can sign in to the Twitter app just fine on this new computer, and I can sign in via Safari as well. Do I have to sign out of everything else to do this, or is there an easy answer?

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

In order to use your Apple ID to create an iCloud account, the primary email address associated with the ID must first be verified. To do this, Apple will send a verification email to your account and you must respond to the email by clicking the Verify Now link. Make sure you are check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

Presentation created in iPad can't be opened, exported, sent via mail

Hello.
i worked on a ipad keynote presentation all day. i was working on it when the ipad suddenly crashed, and resetted. Now, when i try to open the presentation i get the message "Presentation can't be opened". When i try to export it i get the message "presentation couldn't be exported" An error ocurred. I can't send it via mail, it gets stuck on Creating Document. Please help me, i'm in real trouble. Is there anyway to take that presentation out. Or look at the data?? there were really important numbers in that presentation.

The data is gone, unless someone knows how to pull data out of your iPad. The fact is, the iPad isn't made to do what you're trying to do. Create mission critical documents on your real computer that backs up data frequently. Sorry.

I can still access my .mac email via Mail but not in iCloud

I set up a new iCloud email address and tried to add my old .mac address (via Manage your Apple ID) and get a message saying that "email address is already verified for another Apple ID".
I can still send and receive emails on my older .mac account via Mail, my iPad and iPhone. I just want to be able to read my .mac email in a browser if I were to lose the other devices.

Try simply dismissing the popup by hitting cancel and then Get Mail from the account in question.

Can't sign in to Twitter & Gmail won't load

This is what drove me away from Firefox last night & went back to Google Chrome.
I cannot sign in to Twitter at all. I click sign in & the page just refreshes, absolutely nothing happens. I'm not entering the wrong password, nothing like that. Everything is correct, I've tried this numerous times, this happened last night I tried using Firefox. I gave up & uninstalled it.
www.gmail.com doesn't load for me at all.

Being able to to send and receive email is definitely an important feature of the iPhone. The following Knowledge Base article provides some great steps for troubleshooting your issue:

Particularly:
If you are unable to send or receive email, try the following steps:
Restart the iOS device.
Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage to ensure that the device has Internet access. If you're unable to load a webpage, try the Wi-Fi assistant.
Try an alternative Internet connection.
If your email is provided by your Internet provider, try connecting from the home network.
If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, try to disable Wi-Fi: TapSettings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
If not, try a different Wi-Fi network.
Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
Delete the account from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then add the email account again on the iOS device.
If you're still unable to send or receive email, contact your email provider and verify the account settings are correct. You will need to gather this information (PDF).

Can't add to Address Book via Mail App

I had some permissions problems a while back (I did an "apply to enclosing folders" on my system disk - don't ask - I'm an idiot) and while I fixed them by creating a new system and migrating the old system data to the new system, some problems still persist.
The most annoying one being that I can't add Address Book Contacts to the address book right from the Mail application. I can add a contact manually through the Address Book application, but this doesn't seem to be working "interapplication".
Does anyone have any ideas how this might be fixed? I've repaired permissions NUMEROUS times and really the only ones I get are ACL's are either missing, or unexpected.
I think this same type of problem is inhibiting me from adding dates to iCal from the Mail application as well.
Any ideas?

Try logging in using the Snapfish logon.
From the normal eprint logon screen, click the Snapfish icon ()
Try logging in using your email and selected password.
If the logon fails, try retrieving the password using the Snapfish retrieve pasword option.

After installing OS 10.9.1, I can't send multi-page PDFs via Mail

After I installed Mavericks, Mail would no longer allow me to send a PDF document over one page in length. It will allow only the first page of the pdf to be attached to the email.

Thanks for the signature update. If you don't do all signatures, but instead assign it to a specific email account does it work?
I'm working on a post about signatures (still in progress) but a couple of workarounds. Use System Prefs > Keyboard > Text to create a signature. I use @@ as a signature shortcut. You can't type in multiple lines, but you can paste them in if you create them in any message and use copy/paste.
There is also a signature plug-in from Chungwasoft called Graffiti, but that might be overkill for what you want.

I've just got a blackberry curve 8520. I've downloaded the twitter app but can't log on it keeps saying twitter service not available. Its the right log in details. I've tried updating blackberry. Changing the password.Taking app out and taking battery out. then putting back in.Putting in uber social. HELP?????

I've just updated by BB software which means I have had to re-enter all my log-in details for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Twitter is not accepting my details, saying that it's an incorrect username/password combination. I'm using exactly the same details as I do from my laptop, which signs in with no problem.
Anyone any ideas?

Try logging into your Twitter account from a computer, navigating to Settings and Connections, choosing Twitter for BlackBerry and clicking Revoke Access. Then try logging in from your BlackBerry again.

Can't open docx-files received via mail client

Hello,
I'm using my iPad air (IOS 7.1.2) for my daily business. For that, my emails are synced with my company's exchange server (2007). When I receive an email with a Word docx attachment, I get an error when I try to open the attachment. I tried to open the word files with Word app, GoodReader, DocsToGo, Pages). The file is loaded and then, I got the error, that the file is corrupted. If I login in to the web version of Outlook, I can open the file with the mentioned apps. How can I solve the problem?

I can not open the e-mail and contacts. Or agenda on THE setingscreen. Wen i click THE icon my ipad shows me THE startscreen and that's all. Can someone give me à solution? I cann't create an correct e-mailaccount at THE moment.

OK - I fixed this myself. On a hunch I used Firefox to check my plug-ins. I deleted all the old java plug-ins and installed the latest update and hotmail now works. How people with no computer knowledge at all solve their problems I'm blowed if I know. It shouldn't be this hard...
