Can't sign into Itunes account

Hello,
When I go to sign into my Itunes account it says that there is network problems. However, when i try to sign in using another account via itunes, it allows me to sign in. It's just my sole account saying that there is network problems. I can edit my details via the website, and it says that I am signed in, and it allowed me to sign in to write this. It does not allow me to connect to the itunes store through any other devices using that account either. It is extremely necessary that I use this account, so is there anyway that I can fix this?

let my give you all a little information first...
For 2 years i have been able to download from the itunes store, but after my computer was formatted, i haven't been able to. I've reinstalled it and done all of the suggestions on the Apple troubleshooting page, I just felt it would be better to get some answers from other people......

I logged off iTunes on my PC and can't sign back into my account. I receive the following error "We could not complete your iTunes request. An unknown error occured (error 0x80090326). Now, I can't backup/update/sync anything. iTunes Help > Diagnostics failed secure link to iTunes store. I spoke to level 2 at Apple Care for hours and NOTHING works. Seems like an isolated XP issue. I have tried the following:
installing and reinstalling iTunes
flushing DNS
winsock review and repair
repair of QuickTime and iTunes
ensured iTunes was selected as exception for Windows Firewall
Windows XP patch from 2009 (suggested in previous post)
Also uninstalled anti-virus, turned off firewall. Nothing works
iPhone 6, iOS 8.3, null

I've now got exactly the same issue on my Windows XP netbook with iTunes 12.1.2.27. Everything was fine a few days ago but as of Monday the 20th of April 2015 (at the latest) I'm not able to update apps with iTunes. This PC's only job is to run iTunes to play music and backup 3 iPhones, 4 iPod Touches and 3 iPads.
My thanks to whoever decided to make the change!
Whatever has been changed on Apple's server side should be changed back. Don't fix what's not broken.

I keep getting an error everytime I try to log into my account to purchase music. I tried signing out and now it won't even let me create a new account. Any ideas?

Could you post rge result of your network connectivity tests.
iTunes Help>>Run Diagnostics>>Network Connectivity Tests.
Paste the entire result into your post. It is OK to remove your iPod serial no and IP address if you wish.

"Sign into iTunes Account" prompt popping up for everything & unable to access iTunes Store?

After I updated to 11.1.5 on my Mac (Running 10.9.2) every time I try to do something, be it listen to iTunes Radio, update apps, view my account in the iTunes store, download a new app, etc. I get the "Sign into iTunes Account" prompt repeatedly. Regardless if I enter the correct password or not it will continuously pop up not allowing me to do whatever I'm trying to do. I've tried signing out/signing back in and deauthorizing/authorizing my computer and haven't had any luck in getting any of these functions to work.

Changed my Apple Password and still can't sign into iTunes.

I changed my apple id password and now I can't sign into iTunes.

Delete the account (Settings>iCloud>delete account) and add a new one using the new ID.

What is the full text of the message that you are getting ?
Messages about countries usually refer to the country that you have on your iTunes account. You have your correct billing address on your account, and you are in that country ? If you can't log into your account directly on your phone to view/correct your address details (e.g. via Settings > iTunes & App Store), then can you do it via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes or via http://appleid.apple.com ?

you updated to iTunes 11.0.3 (42), and before that, all worked fine?
Instead, now, everytime when iTunes chooses to have you enter your credentials again, they're practically ignored, i.e. the dialog re-opens just like before, like in a time-loop (à la Groundhog Day)... Of course, if you enter something wrong, just to test, you get an error message telling that, but that doesn't help at all.
If so, or even if not, try this:
log out (click on account to do so)
log back in (of course, your Apple ID is empty then!)
you're good for another [insert Apples timeout here]...

I was able to sign into iTunes, but when attempting to download a song I received error code 5002 and to try back later. Now I Can not sign into ITunes at all and am still getting the code 5002. I've changed my credit card info via store.apple.com but this did not fix the problem. ran diagnostic check and everything is fine. Is this a problem on their end?

I fixed this error for my daughter after a while by working out that the address in her login profile was a different country from the iTunes and App store that she was logging into...
I also blogged about it to try to help others as this took out a good 6 hours of my Christmas evening trying to set up my kid's MBP.

Just bought an iPod touch refurb, 3G but I haven't upgraded the OS system to 10.5 from the pre-installed 3.1.3 if I'm not misunderstanding things.
I'm running an iMac (2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo) purchased approx Nov 2007 running OS 10.4.11. I've upgraded my iTunes to the 9.2.1 release, set up an Apple ID and when I try to sign in to iTunes I get told the ID hasn't been used on iTunes yet (this much I knew already), I then get asked to review my account details before I'm almost immediately told "Your session has timed out. Try again."
I've done a search for fixes, but if I'm honest, most of it is beyond me technically. Can anyone help please?

I used my iPod to sign into iTunes, which then allowed me to create the iTunes account properly, then, hey presto, I was able to sign in to the iTunes store on the mac!

please contact Skype customer service and change your password.

I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac
