Can't sign to App World from any desktop PC

When logging in to App World from a desktop PC I get the following error
Unknown Error
An unknown error has occurred (EC )
To return to the home page please click here
The "click here" takes me back to the log in screen.  I have tried at home and at work with both IE and FireFox. Then reset password just to test. That worked but still get the same error message.  I have cleared the cache, etc. But that still doesn't help.  There is no Error Code number just the EC in parenthesis.
This has been going on for about a week.  I have no problem logging in from my phone, Torch 9800, or my PlayBook.  Both devices log in and download just fine, just can't log in from a desktop PC.

I have seen in another thread this same error with no resolution.  All I've seen are people trying to fix a problem on the PB when it is a desktop problem not the PB!  I have had the same error from more than one desktop PC with nothing in common. What does it take to get an answer? This ec error is happening to more and more people with no help.

    Hi, I hope this is the right place for this, but I find that I have difficulty accessing the BlackBerry App World from a computer (IE or Chrome). Seems to work fine with FireFox.
    The problem is the link:
    http://appworld.blackberry.com
    The default link from Google and if you manually type it will automatically redirect to:
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/?
    Which would show you a blank page. If you remove the "?", the link will work. 
    The strange part is  I tried it on another system (different network) and got the same result.
    Any clue where else I can look? Thanks.

    I just tried all 3 browsers (Chrome, IE, and FireFox) and they all work the same for me. With the URL of http://appworld.blackberry.com, they each redirect to http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/? and display just fine...no blank page at all.
    I noticed that IE was slower, but it did work. One thought...what version of IE? I know that many "active" pages have troubles with older IE versions. Mine is 10.0.9200.16540 and I recall having troubles with other pages even as recently as IE9.
    Also, are you sure that your installation of Chrome is up to date? Mine is on "Version 26.0.1410.64 m". And have you checked various add-ons/extensions you might have in either? Those could be blocking the redirect and/or active components.

The problem is that I don't have a set work station and am changing desktop computers in the office frequently.     I have a Torch 9810, from RIM headquarters, not from a carrier. I should be loaded with all the latest software, I cannot login to App World from my BB, there is no login button. I have deleted, and re-loaded App World and there is no difference.
    Is this possible? When I go to App World on-line, I can't access all my handset apps. Only some of them and then I have to download one at a time. Can anyone help...please!

    Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    Then restart your iPad.
    iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    Then try the App or iTunes Stores.
    No data is lost as the result of a reset.

    To change countries of the iTunes Store, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region. From there it is a matter of picking the U.K. Store and you should be good.

    The operating systems for iOS devices and for Macs are completely different. Applications written for iOS won't run on a Mac no matter what fiddles you try with it. You can sometime extract data by opening the package, but it still won't do you any good. Look in the Mac App Store in your Applications folder to see if there are Mac versions or similar programs (iTunes login required).

    What App are you using to get the audio stream?  Safari should work unless Flash is involved.
    I have used the free NPR App to listen to radio stations, but I don't know if it works with TV stations.

    there is a max of 2 computers on which you can sign in to your cc account.  if you try to sign in on a 3rd, you will be prompted to sign out of the other two.

    All of a sudden I can't access my iPhoto files from any other programs (ie Photoshop, facebook etc.).  It just gives me this message below.  What the **** changed?  This wasn't happening yesterday.

    1 - close iPhoto.
    2 - go to your Pictures folder and open the iPhoto Library package as shown below:
    3 - locate a file named AlbumData.xml and move it to the Desktop.
    4 - launch iPhoto.
    5 - relaunch the other programs and try the media browser again.
