Can't signout of icloud.

I wanted to make some changes to my icloud account On my Macbook I wanted to prevent the saving of certain information (e.g. Contacts) to the Cloud. After unchecking a few boxes, I tried to signout. A series of warning messages appeared. For example, it says it would delete Contacts from icloud and my Macbook. It threatened to delete a number of things from my Macbook. It also wanted to disable the Find My Mac feature. I didn't request any deletions from my Macbook. I don't want to disable the Find My Mac feature. It wouldn't let me signout unless I agreed to these changes. I was caught in a loop. This is very strange. Any help please.

Disconnecting your Mac from iCloud (signing the Mac out of iCloud) means doing without iCloud-dependent things while you are signed out. For example, Find My Mac is based on your iCloud account ID; only somebody with the credentials to sign on your iCloud account (and now members of the same Family Share group) are entitled to know where that Mac is, so Find My Mac is useless for a particular Mac unless some iCloud account is signed onto that Mac.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare (or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

Your phone must be running the same or higher version of iOS as the phone you backed up in order to restore the backup. If the backup was made on a device running iOS 7, you will have to update your phone to iOS 7 in order to restore the backup.
This explains how to update your phone: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4623. After updatine it, go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, then follow the setup assistant screens and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts.

I don't really understand iCloud, but I have an Apple ID since both my kids are underage (8 and 11). They share my Apple ID, but have different Ipods. Can/Should I have separate iCloud emails for them? To recap, I have 1 Apple account, but have 2 kids, a boy and a girl. Since that password is tied to his Apple ID, you will need to contact Apple; as far as I know, it will be a somewhat lengthy procedure and you will need to furnish necessary paperwork (including a death certificate as far as I know). Best to either stop at an Apple store or call them to find out exactly what it is you need to do.

My primary issue it that I can neither restore or reset my phone without turning off Find my Iphone. I can't turn it off, because it won't update my iCloud to emailB and declines my password, which is accepted on iTunes. How can I fix this?

Remove an iOS device or Mac on which you can’t turn off Find My iPhone
If you can’t turn off Find My iPhone on the device, turn off the device so it goes offline, then remove it from Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.

How can I correct my iCloud account information on my iPhone 5S?

I am able to use and access iTunes on my phone, but I cannot use any of the iCloud functionality. When I view my "account" information in iCloud in Settings, it has an old, unused email address. How can I update this information on my iPhone? I have no problem logging into iCloud on my computer, just my phone. I have no problems with iTunes on my computer or my phone.

I have one iTunes account and one iCloud account for three phones, mine, my husband's and my sons. I need to seperate the iCloud account and make seperate ones for each person. How do I do this so I don't delete important phone numbers out of our contacts?

First, make sure all contacts are on everybody's phones now (ideally, make sure you have an up to date sync'd copy in your computer contacts as well). Then, you will need new AppleIDs for everyone so they all can have their own iCloud account. Keep the current shared AppleID for iTunes so you can continue to share your purchased content.
Using free emails (if needed - get GMail, Hotmail, yahoo, or whatever free email accounts you prefer), create new unique AppleIDs for everybody at

Then, delete the iCloud accounts on the phone, and then create new ones with the new AppleIDs. Violoa, everybody has their own unique iCloud account with their own unique AppleID login. You can also use those same unique AppleIDs to make sure everybody has unique iMessage accounts as well so you are not all stumbling over eachothers messages.

my calendars and contacts and bookmarks and all are all sync'd and working on the phone, but i thought if I typed in iCloud.com on the phone in Safari I would go to my iCloud web page that looks like this on my Mac.
Is that NOT how iCloud should/would look on my phone via Safari?

I've been playing with a Galaxy here at work and here's what I've found so far - please feel free to jump in and suggest alternative methods to configure or access the various icloud components.
So the original Q: Can you access your icloud account on Android?
Not entirely: the website can't be used from an android browser (not properly - even with Dolphin HD and posing as different browsers it won't load correctly. So Find my iphone is out, so is the address book or looking at your e-mail or calendar just in a browser window
I was able to setup my e-mail using the IMAP settings published here:

Be sure to setup the account manually - and note if you have trouble using SSL try TLS (that worked for me)
Address book is a no go so you'll have to use iTunes to sync all your contacts over to Gmail - if you still have an iPad it means managing contacts in two places though . iWork is an Apple proprietary bit so don't expect much there.
So in my case, if I'm really going to make the switch to a Galaxy from my iPhone it really means I'm going to have to switch to using google as the backend. The timing to swap over to a galaxy/android phone is not the greatest - given that I'd have to give up my Apple addiction (syncing photos and itunes and losing access to my device tracking). Plus I still have an iPad and a mac and like living in the Apple ecosystem. I think I'll wait and see what the new iPhone looks like before I commit

Thank you for the help. Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID. I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone. In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one. My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID. Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.
