Can't sinc my iphone 4

Help! Got a new laptop with windows7, transfered all the files from old computer (windows vista), downloaded itunes, now i can't sinc my iphone 4!
Any ideas, thanks.

There are only two things that you must do to connect a device to calendars:
1) In settings>icloud, you must log in, WITH THE CORRECT ID/PASSWORD, and
2) Turn on calendars on the same page.
You said that the iphone 4 and ipad **used** to automatically sync. Do they no long sync?

Plug it in and sync it.
It will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer, so make sure that you copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one first.

Every time I switch on the iPhone, the iTunes icon is displayed together with a USB icon and Emergency call message appears on the screen in many languages. When I touch the i symbol I get the following information IMEI: **** AND ICCID: ****
However, the iphone is visible in the Devices directory in iTunes. I changed my SIM card but still can not be recognized by the iPhone.

Do you mean when you say its locked to another carrier other then the one im using, that maybe my insurance sent me an iphone thats for a different network for example orange and not mine which is o2?

Only option is upgrading your Mac's OSX, since Apple will not allow iOS to go backwards.

It has been draining my mobile data I now have very high bills from my mobile carrier for high data usage. Go to Settings>General>Passcode Lock>tap Turn Passcode Lock Off, enter your "pin".
Edit: Are you saying you are getting a prompt for your email pin, or are you talking about the passcode lock that appears when you turn the phone on?

You need to have the latest version of iTunes on the computer, version 11.1.3 to be able to handle syncing a newer phone with iOS 7. The iTunes on the iPhone has nothing to do with syncing and is installed by the iOS.
Go to iTunes on the computer, click on Help, Check for updates to update iTunes on the computer, or go to to www.apple.com/itunes/download and download and install the latest version of iTunes to correct your problem.

Yes.
As long as your iPhone 5 was not running iOS 6.1.4, you can restore your iPhone 5 backup to your iPhone 4. Make sure your iPhone 4 is running iOS 6.1.3...update it first if not. If your iPhone 5 was running iOS 6.1.4, then you won't be able to restore that backup to your iPhone 4.
