Can't start 90% of my apps

Hey Guys, i need help. i dont know what is wrong with my ipad. i can't open a lot of apps on my ipad. i tried downloading any free apps or system restart, nothing works. i dont wanna restore my ipad. please help. im running ios 5.1.1, and it is jailbroken. thanks guys. ( started last night )

Can't start GTK apps on Kdemod

Hi,
I'm very new to Arch, but I've managed to install some things I need so far. I did a FTP install and then installed x and kdemod, fixed screen resolution, installed nvidia driver, configured alsa. I think I want to stay on Arch, I really like it's speed and the package manager pacman.
Anyway I can't start GTK apps, currently I've Firefox, Seamonkey and Gparted installed but when I click on their shortcuts in K menu nothing happens, when I try to start in terminal I get
gparted
No protocol specified
(gparted:7468): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0.0
I have gtk2,glib2,gtkmm and kdemod-gtk-qt-engine installed.

Can't start GUI apps as Root.

If i am logged as root i can't start GUI apps like:
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified
kate: cannot connect to X server :0.0
should i post xorg.conf?

It's not really a problem, but you can copy your .Xauthority to give the same rights.

Although the security of Windows XP SP3 32 bit is compromised by Microsoft no longer supporting XP, if Windows XP was restored as claimed, you should still be able to install/uninstall Premiere Elements versions of it that you did before the Microsoft support removal.
I think a revisit to the Geeks would be in order. It may be that they could not restore Windows XP because of the Microsoft non support. I would take along the Premiere Elements installation disks so that you do not leave there without actually seeing Premiere Elements (or a non Adobe program) running on your restored Windows XP. What was the other software that you tried to use that did not work?

Try opening the Terminal utility in your system and running the following command to open the system's caches folder:
open $TMPDIR../C
Then locate and remove the folder called "com.apple.appstore" and then try relaunching the App Store and downloading the installer again.

I've got Sun One Studio and I can't start the Application Server. I have created a domain like this int the command prompt :

But when I start the server, I've got a message :

Can't start apps bought in Mac App store

One of the users (my son) on my Mac is having trouble running programs bought on the Mac App Store. The account has parental controls "on" but as far as I can tell, all programs from the app store have been set so that they can be run.
If I restart the computer and log in as that user, the app can be run, but later on it won't start. Is there a preferences file that can get corrupted? Is there another way to fix this?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this but it did not fix the problem.
I did try turning off parental controls, which enabled me to run the program. I then turned parental controls on for the account, and am still able to run the program. I have had this behavior before though - something I do lets me run the program for a short time, but the problem returns a few hours later. I'll try it in the morning and see if it still works...

1. Erase all content and setting in general setting
2. Reinstall Apps using ICloud backup service.

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sgern/archive/2013/03/21/10404146.aspx reports a simialr issue (in German), but on an RDS server.
The issue described there is that App-V tries to resolve/access a folder GUID int the registry that isn't there.
In the above scenario, it was the Music Library.
Activating the Music Library (causeng the key to be written) and deactivating it right away solved the issue. Of course *your* GUID/feature might be another one.
(and no, Sebastian does not explain _why_ App-V tries to access your favorite music)
