Can't start up 3G!! Help please!

Ok- so I just got an ipad and want to sign up for a cellular data plan. I click settings, 'Cellular Data ' then I hit 'View Account' ...(while connected to WiFi) and it comes up as 'this may take a few seconds to load' but then takes about 2 full minutes, and then it says 'connection failed. server was lost. try again later"...but i know the server wasn't lost because i can still get on to the internet for email and such.
am i doing something wrong?? please help!

If you are in the USA it uses the 3G service to set up the account. Do you have 3G service available where you are? Does the ATT and #G and bars show in upper left?

Ok, so I was in my Windows partition and I shut down to restart to Mac and it won't load.
It's just the blue start up screen for a while. So I put in the Mac OS installer and it takes it a while to load, but it does. And wants me to reinstall it. It shows my hard drive and my windows partition. But when I try to install it on the disk, it says there is an error. So i went to my disk utility and tried to repair my disk. IT says that there was an error coming out of the process or something.
What do I do?
I need help please. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

If Disk Utility is showing a problem that it can't fix, then you'll need something stronger such as DiskWarrior. BTW, exact message help tremendously.

Do you have location services turned on? See Settings > Privacy > Location Services
In any event Maps can be used to obtain directions by supplying the start and end locations after touching "Directions" in the upper left corner.

I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.

Thanks Barney, I tried that but all that comes up in Spotlight are the log files that show the file paths! I don't know how Steam works. Are all the files held by Steam on their server perhaps?

I just purchased Time Capsule today. I ONLY want to use it as an external drive. I do not need it for Time Machine. I can see the TC in my finder, but when I click on a file or video to drag and drop, I get message that TC can't be modified. Help please

I agree with Kappy.. passing files and especially via wireless is slow as slow.
Just need to be sure your TC is the new AC model??
And the OS on the computer is Lion?
Have you completed the setup of the TC via the utility? You do still need to get internet via the TC so it has to be plugged into the main router..
Give us the full picture of the network.
Then we can help you get into it.. whether you should put your files on it is another question.

There is nothing that anyone here on a user forum can do to help you. If it is a local issue in Syria, then you need to take it up with your phone company or authorities there who have prevented you from using VPN.

I am legally blonde and not very tech savvy, so I don't really know how to do that. I know ur time is valuable, so could u possibly give me a short tutorial? I would b very grateful! I need help. I tried Apple Tech Support. They walked me through all sort of steps after 45 minutes being on the phone, we were disconnected. You would think they would call me back! **** no. So here it goes. A month or so ago, when I connected my iPod to the computer, iTunes opened with a "new version" to download. Okay, It instructed me to delete all iTune programs on the computer. So, I did. BIG MISTAKE. When I try to download iTunes, a window comes up to "Repair" or "Delete". If I select Repair, I get a message; c:\Programs\iTunes\cdconfiguration\gcdrll.cfg. After I cancel that, I tried again. This time I picked "Delete". This time I get a message; c:\Programs\iTunes\cdconfiguration\getlasterror: 5. I can't get my iTunes back. I'm very upset as I have pruchased a lot of music. I can't do anything with my iPod. Can some one help me please? Sad that I can't get Apple to help.
I greatly appreciate any help you can supply me.

Try this,
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
(Reference instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components)
3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch

Try:
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

MacBook Air with Mavericks. I need to download agendas with embedded files. This is through an encrypted email account. My Mac is blocked from even opening the embedded files on line and I can't save any of this to my laptop. It works fine on my PC laptop. Help please. I know this is a problem for other people too, but would love the solution!

Gee, Pat, this is a real big help.
Nobody could possibly think anyone would ask for help without first trying to fix the issue oneself. Or maybe you do. I have opened the file and looked under security. I have changed it to owner-notebook (which is what the techs called me) and clicked accept but geepers it didn't work.
Maybe someone else has an idea.

The above should be a link. At least I copied and pasted the link. I did what was stated in there. It isn't like brain surgery. But it is not working. I ended up being able to open some pdf files after transferring them from one partition category to another. I wish it was that easy as you seem to think.
