Can't stop alarm clock animation in 3.0?

Minor issue of course but in iCal <3.0 you could right-click the animated alarm clock in the iCal Alarm window and make it stop (or re-play). Anyone else experience this?

I am having the same problem in that the iphone does not even show up under the remote section on ATV. I have three ATV units and it does the same thing on all of them. They all were accessible using the remote app in the past. Had no issues previously with pairing the iphone as a remote. Updated remote application just the other day and it still is not working. Anybody have a fix. My network is fine we have tons of devices that use it daily. ATV's are connected through ethernet.

Today, I try my headphone in the first time.
Any expert here can tell me why my speaker can't stop the alarm (VIVIVIVI sound), after i pull out my mircophone and headphone?
The sound will stop by itself when I put my microphone back!
    How to stop that alarm?

*After adjusted microphone boost and set to 10.0dB, the problem solved. But the microphone have to set to max., otherwise I cant hear my own voice when I test the chat engine through one of my chat gear.*
*Meanwhile, I would like to ask, are there any difference between 10.0 dB and 0 dB. if positive, why you suggest me the setting to 0.*
*Finally, buddy you solved my problem which even the toshiba support team cannot, " there answer are REINSATLL, REINSTALL THEN REINSTALL AGAIN AND AGAIN" no matter what you asked!;\*

  • Alarm clock - wake up to music

On my good old iPod I can set the alarm clock to wake me up to one of my playlists or anything else in my music library. This is not the case with the iPhone. Can someone get word back to Apple that future versions of the alarm clock should allow this. It seems to me there should be no technical reason not to do this, so why not?

  • Alarm clock & iphone

I looked through all the apps and it seems you need to have it running in the background ALL THE TIME for it to work which ends up using battery power...
Is there a way in which I can have my alarm clock somehow linked to an application so that it will run on a set schedule without me manually having to open it?

If your talking about the built in alarm clock in the "clock" app yes it does run in the background, though I would say the amount of battery drain this applies is miniscule.
If you set an alarm to a recurring event in a calendar it too is using a bit of battery power it just doesn't give you the little icon up the top to let you know it's doing something.
If it's just an alarm to get you up in the morning you could get one of the Clock app's like nightsand or the like so that way it's only running when it's opened, you just open the app before you go to bed and plug it into the power adaptor or dock, then it would only be running when the app is opened, this would chew more power as it has to run a full app but i would imagine you would have it on AC power during this time period so it wouldn't matter.
That's the only option i can think of

  • Can I stop the vibrating alarm clock?

I've just started using iCal again after a number of years. In past versions, I used to be able to control-click on the vibrating alarm clock when I got a pop-up reminder and tell it to stop vibrating. Now I can't seem to click on it. I like to leave the window open as a reminder, but that vibrating clock takes up a lot of CPU. Is this no longer possible to stop? Thanks!

  • Can i use my iphone as an alarm clock?

i'm wondering if i can use my iphone as an alarm clock/clock radio without connecting it to one of the third-party docks?

You can use the clock feature as an alarm clock I do, nothing  to stop you just plugging in with the supplied cable and the mains plug or an Apple dock to hold the iPhone upright to the mains plug

  • Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock? I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on and start playing that Radio Station from Sleep mode at spec

Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock?
I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on from Sleep mode and start playing that Radio Station at specific times of the day?
Any App or plug-in that does that?
    Many thanks
    Kevin

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
    1.  In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
    2.  Export the playlist (as .m3u works well).  Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
    3.  In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
    4.  Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
    5.  For "alarm" select Open File.
    6.  Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open.  It will probably be some default entry (like iCal).  Click on it will allow you to select "other."  Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time.  You don't need to keep iCal running.  If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do.  Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button.  Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

  • How can I turn my Mac using iTunes into an alarm clock?

Here's my question: How can I turn my Mac, using iTunes, into an alarm clock?
I want to be able to put my Mac to sleep but have it set up so that when it wakes up at the predetermined time iTunes will open and start playing the music I've selected....
    A "musical alarm clock"...
A friend suggested using the Energy Saver option in Sys. Preferences to wake the computer at the right time. He said that then I could use iCal to start iTunes. I would then have to use an Apple Script to get iTunes to play the song I want.
But is there a SIMPLER way to do this? Are there any programs out there that do this already??
    Thanks for any help....

I recently got a copy of AlarmClock Pro from MacWorld UK. It is shareware, I think it is (USD?)19. I haven't had a chance to try it out much, but it does look quite good. I have an older version. The latest version looks even better.
I'm sure there's plenty of freeware apps out there. You might also want to try looking here for an applescript here Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes

  • How can I download a purchased ringtone so that it appears in the sounds column for the alarm clock sound

How can I download a purchased ringtone so that it appears in the sounds column for the alarm clock sound

Welcome to the Apple Community Elizabeth.
You should be able to access any book you have purchased from iTunes anywhere.
Do you have settings > iBooks > Show all purchases turned on.

  • How can I turn off clock alarm sound

I have several clock alarms set for daily or weekly recurrences (picking up kids, etc). They work great, and are very easy to set up and use. The only problem is that there seems to be no way to easily turn them off.
When I use the ring silencer, it does not disable these alarms. I can turn the ringer volume all the way down, which keeps them pretty quiet, but they don't actually get turned off completely.
This means that if I'm in a situation where I don't want my phone to make noise, I need to power it off completely. Is there not a way to either:
    1) disable alarm notices
    2) turn off the volume for these alarms?
I understand why Apple may not want these alarms disabled by the silencer switch, but they need to have an easily implemented alternative.

I only use the alarm clock to wake me up - I don't want that silent!  For everything else, I use calendar alarms - these just vibrate when the phone is in silent mode.  The built in calendar is a bit rubbish, I recommend iKoyomi2: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=377326047&mt=8 &u1=web&affId=1860684

  • How can I change the alarm clock sound on my iPhone

I can't figure out how to change the alarm sound on the Alarm Clock in my iPhone?  Anybody got an idea for me?

What's wrong with you? Oh, now that you realized you made a mistake and I didn't say "Alarming"? The app tited "Alarmed" is the first thing that pops up if you search the App Store using the search term "Alarmed". It is also the name of the app as it appears on the screen of my phone.  Oh, and the developer refers to it as "Alarmed" on his website. It may not have occured to you but, it is possible for more than one app to have the same name. Most of the people here are smart enough to figure out which one is the alarm clock by reading the description. But, we've already covered the reading comprehension thing,
