Can't stop the email notifications even though I turned them off

I can't seem to stop the email notifications -- after receiving 240 emails this morning -- even though I have clicked on the notifications to STOP.  How do I get them to stop?  Apparently I'm getting all email notifications for ANYTHING iMac (Intel).

  • Can i access the numpad again even though my iphone is disabled?

    Hi everyone!
I have an iphone 3gs that i haven't used in a while and it says "iphone is disabled. Connect to iTunes". My mom had tried to unlock it multiple times and got it to this point. I know the password, is there any way i can access the numpad again  because i do not want to restore it.
& when i connect it to itunes, it doenst do anyhting but say that my computer cant access it due to it being locked.
& since its been a while, i do not have my original computer i set it up with as it had a motherboard failure about 4 months ago.
& No, this is not a stolen iphone as i know the password, and i do have all the original packaging (just throwing this out there)
    In short:
can i access the numpad again even though its disabled?
    Thanks!

If it doens't say try again in x minutes, no.  And since you don't have the computer is was last synced to, you're going to have to restore it.

  • Can I change the email notification sound?

I can't hear the email notification sound on my iPhone. Is there a way to customize it? I have it turned up as loud as it will go, but, if I'm out somewhere, and my phone is in the holster, I can't hear it!
    Any help would be appreciated!!
    Stephanie

    Hi Stephanie,
The email sound options are in Settings> Sounds. There is no option to change the tone.
You can leave iPhone feedback requesting a feature be modified here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • I have to input a password in order to log in each time I turn on my Macbook Pro Santa Rosa under Mountain Lion. Now my built-in keyboard suddenly doesn't respons at all. And the bluetooth function seems to activate automatically even though I turn it off

I have to input a password to log in to my Macbook Pro Santa Rosa under Mountain Lion. Now suddenly the built-in keyboard doesn't work at all so I cannot use my computer. I also notice that the bluetooth function is activated automatically even though I turn it off. It looks for an external keyboard. Please help me out. Many thanks!

I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2.  My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone).  I  was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.

  • Can't stop the email spam

Anyone know how to stop junk email from coming into Apple mail?  On my Windows computer, spam doesn't come through on Outlook. Verizon email settings show spam detector is on and emails are deleted. But that doesn't solve the problem on my iPad and iPhone, I can't stop the constant stream of spam email. Any ideas?

The Yahoo mail app remembers spam when it comes up again if you mark it with the Yahoo Mail app.
If you use Gmail or Yahoo mail app, they each have an icon to label emails as spam.   Yahoo uses a shield icon.
if you use the stock app, tap the file folder and send to junk.   In settings app, under mail, make sure it is set to "send spam to JUNK"

  • Can I stop the emails

I keep getting "Welcome to the new OTN Community!" updates in my email. I would like to stop receiving those messages.
When I open the communications tab, I see the "Welcome to the new OTN Community" thread in the list field. When I click it and select "Stop tracking" nothing happens. I'm still getting emails about updates of this thread. How can I disable it? I also tried the red "Stop Tracking" action object in the thread browsing view. How do I stop these emails please? Actually I don't remember what enabled them in the first place.

I wanted to add, that the page when opening the thread shows a "Receive email notification" option in the Actions list. After selecting it it shows "You will now receive email notifications about this item. So is this an error or what is triggering those emails? Is it because I have a reply in that thread?

  • I'm trying to unsubscribe, and I can't stop the emails from coming. I followed directions given here. Help!

I've followed directions given here, but I can't unsubscribe. Why does it have to be so hard to unsubscribe? Help!

How do I unsubscribe for a particular thread. I don't understand
When you receive an email notification, there will be a link like this:
    Click "o to the Message"
In the upper right corner of the page is a panel iwth "Actions"
Select "Stop email notifications". This should stop the notifications for this thread.

  • PC : How can we summarize the email notification

    Hi ,
In the Process chain after the Data load is complete we need to send an automated email notification .
This email has to say that " THE DATA LOAD IS COMPLETE " . Along with this message I am getting the LOG FOR THE PROCESS and LOG FOR RESPECTIVE BACKGROUND JOB.
Request to share how we can rectify the LOG messages in the automated email notification.

    Hi
I dont think there is any way to avoid the detailed logs.
What you can do is, write your message and end it with ***************************************.
    eg.
    Loads successful for today.
This will separate your message with the detailed logs that the system includes.
    Regards,
    Mansi

I copied this from another discussion.

Actually there are three places to look (this software is really insane).
Anyway first click on your name to get to your homepage/profile. At the top there are three tabs one of which is Notifications, that's number one,. Next look at the right side of the page at the box Actions in there click Manage Email Notifications. Finally click  Edit Preferences in the action box and click on Email Notification Preferences
I think that covers it all.

  • HT3228 everytime I open my e-mail on my I phone I get the same messages delivered as new even if i have previously deleted them. How can I change the setting to where when I delete them off my handheld they do not reload

I have a problem with e-mail--everytime I open or push my e-mail I get the same messages delivered over again even if I have deleted them previously. is there a setting I can change that once I delete them they are gone?

Without more info, we can only guess, but most likely you're using a POP server account, and have it set to leave the email on the server after downloading (in order to make it available to other devices/clients).  When you delete the email from your inbox, it just gets re-downloaded.
The solution is to set the account to delete the email from the server as soon as downloaded to your device.  On the phone:
Settings > Mail,.... > your account > Advanced > Incoming Settings > Delete from server > When removed from inbox.
If you access mail with multiple devices, you should use an IMAP account.  POP accounts are designed for one client only.
