Can't stream movies off Netflix. Silverlight IS installed but Firefox isn't recognizing it. ieplorer and google chrome will stream.

Fireflox (Minefield version) won't stream movies in Netflix. It tells me to install Silverlight. Silverlight it installed. Not recognized. Keeps telling me to install. Other search engines will stream off Netflix. I want to stream off Firefox, it's my default.

You using an unsupported version of Minefield x64,
Try using a Release version of Firefox, which is a 32-bit application. Mozilla doesn't have any 64-bit Release versions of Firefox for the Windows platform. <br />

Welcome to the Apple Community.
The movie isn't supposed to show up on the Apple TV, if you want to play content on your iPad via the Apple TV, you will need to use AirPlay.
Basic AirPlay: Assuming both devices are on the same network and that AirPlay is not turned off on the Apple TV, then simply tap on the screen when you are watching content you wish to stream to your Apple TV, then tap the airplay icon that appears in the control bar, choose the Apple TV from the menu that appears.
Mirroring: When displaying the content you wish to mirror on the iPad 2 (or better), iPad Mini, iPhone 4S (or better), double tap the home button (quickly) and swipe the bottom row of apps to the right to reveal the playback controls, tap the AirPlay icon and select your Apple TV from the list of available devices.

try resetting your phone by turning it off and back on again. Also, the server may still be slammed from all the activity, so it may take a little with to connect.

I can not open my email in hotmail. I can open hotmail, see the fact that I have emails but it won't allow me to open them. this just started 2 days ago and has always worked before . I can open using IE and Google Chrome

I found I could not open my email within hotmail. Hotmail itself works in IE and Google Chrome so I know it is FF. I can open the account but not individual emails nor can I delete junk mail. Nothing within the hotmail window seems to work.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

I just installed firefox 3.6.8 on a new computer, it worked fine for a few days but now I cannot login to several sites that require usernames & passwords. (citezens bank online, (chase freedom credit cards online) medco mail order prescripions online. etc. Some of the sites say that I must have java script enabled, but if I go to firefox tools/options/content it shows java script enabled. I can login fine with internet explorer 8 and google chrome. I have firefox 3.6.8 on my old computer that has dial up internet access and it works fine. On the citizens bank web page the words "login" appear in a box, but when I click on it nothing happens & no boxes for usename or password show up. on the medco login page no lotin related words appear. They do with IE8 & google chrome. On chase freedom the login boxes are there but when I enter my password, after a few seconds the password disappears & nothing happens. The other browsers work fine . I believe that on one of the sites there is a message about "scripting being necessary" I cannot find any info about scripting it I do a search for it.

Firefox will no longer play videos and keeps telling me to download the latest version of Adobe Flashplayer which I have done 5 times but still get the same message when I try to play videos. I can play videos on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome .

Recently when I try to play a video on Firefox I get the same message that I need to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. At least 5 times I have downloaded Adobe Flash Player 11 Active X and Adobe Flash Player Plugin 64 bit. Problem is that even though I have the latest version I still get the same message when I try to watch videos on Firefox. The frustrating thing is I can watch videos on Internet Explorer and Google Chrome as well as on Safari. How does that make sense?
Today, I upgraded to Firefox 10.0.2 (x86eng-us) hoping that would enable me to watch video on Firefox but it made no difference either. I would rather use Firefox as my default browser but if I can't get help so I can view video on it I will be forced to use another browser.

I'm in the same position, the store said they didn't know of any new release, so i bought my macbook pro to find out about mountain lion. I really hope that i'm not going to pay for the upgrade. I click on sign in on Youtube.com and it takes me to the sign in page. I enter my information (correctly, duh) and then I am returned to the Youtube home page. I try to click Sign in again and the page is just refreshed. My account still exists bc I can reach it on Safari and Google Chrome, but I don't want to have to switch browsers. By the way the cookies ARE enabled, so Idk what the problem is.

These steps should resolve the issue on your Mac:
Double-click on the link for Uninstall Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 at Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
Check if the Install link is now available in the Adobe Application Manager.
If not, install and run the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove any traces of Premiere Pro. It can be downloaded from here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html.
