Can't stream my podcast in iTunes

I create my first podcast in iTunes.
Yesterday I added first episode. Now I can download and listen it from iOS app and from iTunes, but I can't stream it from iTunes when I click on a "play" button.
What is the problem it can be?
My Podcast link in iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/ru/podcast/podkast-jusnotiz/id770263884?mt=2
And my feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/jusnotiz

The link in the feed is correct, because otherwise it woudn't be possible to download the file on subscribing or from the feed in a browser. This URL is correct:
http://www.jusnotiz.com/podcast/podcast1.m4a
- what you quote as the current link is wrong anyway. If you change the URL without changing the path on the server it will stop working.
I was suggesting making an mp3 version and using that instead, which would involve uploading it to the server and changing the feed to match, just to see whether the server will deilver that to the Store.

  • How can I remove a podcast from iTunes if iTunes is locked up.

I added a password protected podcast and iTunes locks up on the authentication dialog. Spinning beachball... only thing I can do is force quit.
Earlier solution was to go in and manually disable podcasts with Xcode. but then i can't play any of my podcasts.
The recent itunes update fixed the problem, sort of. it allowed me to use itunes normally again. But, I tried to subscribe to the podcast agin and... yup, same thing.
How can I remove that podcast from iTunes without using iTunes to remove it?
    HELP!!!!

ROGER, I AM SORRY I DIDN'T GIVE YOU THE 10 POINT RATING. I DIDN'T REALIZE IT MADE A DIFFERENCE AND THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS NOT WITH YOUR RESPONSE, WHICH WAS RIGHT ON, BUT WITH THE WAY THE SYSTEM WORKS.
    REGARDS, JEANNE

How can I manage my podcast via itunes?
I am sure that it is so simple that I don´t know how itunes work.

Delete the app from your device.  Restart your device once or twice.  After that, the device will realize you want to manage your podcasts using iTunes and will let you manage them from iTunes again.

  • Can't submit feedburner podcast to itunes

    Hello,
I have created a feedburner podcast to submit to Apple.
The podcast can be subscribed and downloaded manually in iTunes. However, there is a time out issue when trying to submit the podcast to iTunes. I have trie to submit this podcast to Apple from mid December 2013 with no success.
    The podcast URL is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/MHPN
Our developer claims there is no issue with the server and all functions normally when accessing the podcast in a browser.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?
Attached is a screen grab of the error message in iTunes.
    Thanks

Some of your URLs - for example for 2 October - have spaces in them:
    <enclosure url="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/MHPN/~5/kiQgeVJzvZ0/MHPN_2_OCT_1800 - audio.mp3" length="86234627" type="application/octet-stream" />
Spaces are not allowed in the URL and iTunes cannot see any files which have them in the URL. You top episode is OK, but that episode and any others with spaces won't download.
The feed itself is OK (though a bit of a mess) and can be subscribed to manually in iTunes. I don't know whether it's the spaces which are causing the problem - there isn't usually any difficulty with Feedburner feeds themselves - but it's your first thing to fix. Once fixed, post here if you still have any problems.

  • Can I stream from the same iTunes account to 2 Apple Tv's in 2 different locations?

I currently have 1 Apple TV device at home.  I'm thinking of buying a second one to keep in my office at work across town.  My concern is this: my kids love streaming purchased movies and TV shows at home during the day while out of school.  Will I be able to stream content purchased on the same iTunes account at the same time while I'm at work and my kids are at home watching on my first ATV device?
I know ATV isn't that expensive, but I would like to avoid duplicating purchases on a new iTunes account just so both locations can be streaming at the same time.  Anybody know if this is possible?
    Thanks ahead of time.

Yes.  I would like to know if I can stream content from the apple store on both Apple TV devices simultaneously.  Not from a computer, but items purchased from the Apple store on my first Apple TV device.
    Thanks for the reply!

  • My apple tv 2 says I can't stream music from my iTunes library on my iMac without settng up iTunes Match. I don't want to set up iTunes match. How can I get back to the pre-Match system which let me just use home sharing to stream music from computer to A

When I click on the Music tab on my Apple TV 2, a message tells me I have to set up iTunes Match to stream music from my iTunes library on my iMac. I don't want to set up and pay for iTunes Match. How can I get back to the pre-Match system which let me just use home sharing to stream music from computer to Aple TV

    Ditto.
You need to look for your itunes library under Computers and select it, then music.
Music column is for web based content not local content, just to confuse everyone.

  • Can I stream full quality, non iTunes HD movies with Apple TV 3?

I’m thinking about getting an Apple TV but want to know if I can stream my 1080p movies that are not in iTunes at full quality?
I have a 13’’ MacBook Pro with a 1280x800 native resolution and a 50’’ LG Plasma TV with a 1920×1080 resolution.  If I play a 1080p movie on my MBP in QuickTime/VLC etc. will Apple TV stream the full resolution or just match my MBP lower resolution?
Also, some of my HD movies are 1GB and some are 10GB. Can Apple TV handle that?

AppleTV can only access compatible video in iTunes via its menu system.
If your Mac supports Airplay mirroring you will potentially  be able to screen share the video but none of mine are new enough to test.  Airplay mirroring uses screen sharing type software so the video seen on AppleTv will be a recompressed video output from the Mac and quality may suffer especially if network isn't that fast.
I believe mirroring maxes out at 720p but can't confirm.
If this video is unprotected you'd be better off converting to AppleTv conpatible h264 and adding to iTunes so AppleTV can pull and decode the stream.

  • Can I stream music from my itunes and play a movie at the same time?

I have an Apple TV hooked up to both an audio receiver and my TV with HDMI and optical cables. Can I stream a Netflix movie and also music from itunes (on a Macbook Pro) at the same time, so the audio and video content don't match?

    No.

  • Why can't I delete podcasts in iTunes 11.1?

Seems as Apple has erroneously taken a function away in iTunes 11.1, I can't delete old podcasts, they stay in my view - and there are zillions, so Podcast selection in iTunes and Apple TV is a mess
    Apparenlty this is a bug?

    Unbeleivable!
Everyone needs to band together on this and send the meanest-spirited complaint to Apple via the "Provide iTunes Feedback" option (dropdown from the iTunes menu, found just under thr Preferences option). If you have such uncharitable words to say here the Moderator just deletes it. If there was some way to start a petition I'd do it. Intensionally hobbling programs and calling it an upgrade is the dumbest thing Apple can possibly do. Reminds me of a Dilbert episode.

  • I can't publish my podcast to iTunes

I've shortened my previously long url to http://web.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%20Rimmer/Podcast/Podcast.html plus I've removed an illegal apostrophe
I have another address that forwards to the above url & it is www.jims-jaunts.co.uk
My actual short url (at .mac) is: http://web.mac.com/rimmerpaula
My site now seems to be working well (I had a few issues earlier!)
    I would now like to publish my podcast to iTunes, but have received the following error message;
    bad http result code 404;
    The rss address (is that the right term!?) that iTunes automatically puts in the box is the older dodgy url;
    http://rss.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%27s%20jaunts%3A%20the%20musings%20and%20 misadventures%20of%20an%20extremely%20long%20legged%20jack%20russell%20from%20Wa les/Podcast/rss.xml
I tried changing the middle bit to the new shorter address, but same error message.
    Any clever/obvious ideas out there?
    Thanks,
    Paula

Good lord! Good job on shortening your URL...
The new address for your Podcast is as follows...
    http://rss.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%20Rimmer/Podcast/rss.xml
    And for your Blog...
    http://rss.mac.com/rimmerpaula/iWeb/Jim%20Rimmer/Blog/rss.xml
You'll have to submit the new URL to the ITMS again here...

  • How can I sync a podcast in iTunes to Podcasts app, but not Music app

When I first got the podcast app I had three podcasts set to sync to my iPhone. Two were podcasts I'm subscribed to via iTunes Music Store and one is a podcast downloaded from a website as individual files (I changed the type to Podcast). The first time I lauched the Podcasts app all of them were there and I was happy. Even though they were now in my Podcasts app I subscribed to them from the app (except for the one that I didn't get from iTunes) I then turned off podcast syncing in iTunes so it wouldn't sync podcasts to both my Music app and my Podcasts app. Maybe this wasn't necessary but I didn't want duplicates and I found nothing online telling me if syncing would result in two copies or not so I chose to turn it off.
Now I've listened to all of the episodes of the one I downloaded from a website and I want to put more, newer episodes of it on my iPhone. However, I can't figure out how to get them from iTunes to the Podcasts app. The only thing I can think of would be to turn on syncing again but as mentioned above, I'd like to leave syncing off.
    Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately since the Podcast App is not part of iTunes, you cannot sycn from iTunes.  You have to subscribe to the podcast from inside the Podcast App.
Do this by clicking on the gear in the top right hand corner. Then turn "Subscription" on.  While you're here decide with order you want to sort them, oldest or newest first.  Be aware that, to my knowledge, your IOS device must be awake to download the podcasts you subscribe to.
To delete podcasts you've listened to, simply swipe from right to left on the podcast and tap on the delete button when it appears.  This is done by individually, just like in Mail. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to select multiple episodes to delete at once.

  • How can I copy a podcast from iTunes to a SBU stick to use in my car radio?

Before latest update of iTunes, I have always been able to copy a podcast downloaded to iTunes , into a USB stick for my car radio. I can't see how to do that anymore.
I have no similar problems with my iPhone and my iPad.
By the way. Is it possibly to play from iPhone or iPad into the car radio ?
With cable, BlueTooth or a third possibility???
    Can anyone help me.
    regards
    Ebbe

Copy the file from iTunes or from Windows Explorer to the USB drive.
Nothing special and in no way involves or requires iTunes.

That depends entirely on the head unit in the vehicle and what it supports.  Check the Owner's Manual for the vehicle or the head unit (if aftermarket).

  • I can't see some podcasts from iTunes to delete them!

I just got my "5G+" iPod yesterday. All the podcasts that were in iTunes copied over fine. However, podcasts I had copied out of iTunes (because I didn’t have an iPod for a while) and then dragged back on to the iPod don’t show up in the iPod’s Podcast menu-you have to select Podcast as a genre.
That’s not too big of a deal, as in the future I won’t be copying anything out of iTunes prior to transferring it to my iPod.
The REAL problem is that now iTunes can’t see those “rogue” podcasts on my iPod! They don’t show up under “Podcasts”, and they don’t show up under “Music”!
As near as I can tell, I have no way to delete those podcasts from my iPod!
    Any suggestions?

iMeowbot on Macrumors came up with a great way to at least SEE the 'rogue' Podcasts-create a smart playlist and set Podcast = true.
Unfortunatly, you can't delete items from a smart playlist, so I still can't get rid of the 'rogue' podcasts.
For now I'm planning on listening to the rest of the podcasts on my iPod, and then doing a wipe and starting over with it, as there dosen't seem to be any alternative.
I'm pretty surprised to see a bug this major in Apple software!

  • Can't download certain podcasts in iTunes app... any ideas why not?

    Hi all,
For the most part, I have no problem finding podcasts in the iTunes app on my iPad, and downloading podcasts directly. However, a handful of podcasts refuse to let me do so, and I can't figure out why. I tap on the "free" icon, and nothing happens... it doesn't change to "download" or anything.
Can someone else verify this, and maybe have an idea what the problem is? Thanks!
A couple of the trouble podcasts:
The Narrow Path Daily Radio Program
    Grace to You: Radio Broadcast
    -Ryan Satterfield

I am having the exact same issue except I am using Win 8.1 64 bit. Same symptoms as you described, except if I close iTunes with CD in drive and reopen, it recognizes the CD. If I eject CD and insert another one it is not recognized. I have tried all the diagnostics on Apple support site and nothing has worked. All pc divers current and optical drive is working normally.
