Can't submit feedback in Firefox 4 beta2

When I try to submit feedback for Firefox b2, I get the following message:
"Oh! So, you want to offer us feedback on the next version of Firefox. Thank you, but you'll need to be on our latest beta."
My useragent is 'Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 (x86_64); rv:2.0b2) Gecko/20100720 Firefox/4.0b2'. It seems normal, any ideas?

This appears to be due to the original planned release date for beta 3.
Beta 3 was originally planned to be released on August 6th, but has been delayed for a few days. The feedback system may have been setup to stop feedback from beta 2 from 6th August when beta 3 was originally planned for release.

  • Can't submit feedback because the submit button is greyed out.

I tried to use the Firefox made me sad to tell about a problem and it won't work. I checked the happy link just to be sure and it is greyed out also.

I had a similar problem on my iPhone and the problem turned out to be that I had restrictions set to not allow account changes. Once I unset this option (settings-General-restrictions), I could change my apple ID. Could something similar be happening to you?

  • When I click the "submit feedback" option I get told to upgrade to the verison of firefox I already have.

    Hi.
I wish to submit feedback, so I click "help" then "Submit feedback".
I get directed to a page:
Oh! So, you want to offer us feedback on Firefox. Thank you, but you'll need to be on the latest version.
To do that, simply go to our download page and install/update to the latest version of Firefox!
    But:
    Firefox
    4.0.1
    Firefox is up to date
I can not submit feedback unless I update a copy of fire fox that is "UP TO DATE!".

Also, I wish to install "Status bar 4 ever" to get shot of the highly irritating jack-in-the-box pop-up address bar thing to the bottom left. . .
I have a pop-up blocker, and FIREFOX is providing a POP UP!
But I can not, as my copy 0f 4.0.1 is not compatible with an addon only compatible with 4.0.1!

  • Where to submit feedback for iBooks?

Anytime I've wanted to submit feedback for an Apple product, I've visited this page --> http://www.apple.com/feedback/
It provides the mechanism through which you select what you want to provide feedback for, and then simply fill out the form and submit.  Unfortunately, no where on this page is the iBooks application listed.  So there is no way to submit feedback for the iBooks application.   I would have expected it to be listed under the "iOS Apps" heading, but there is nothing.
So if one wanted to provide feedback to Apple for iBooks, where would one do such a thing?

Looks like Apple finally added an iBooks entry to their Product Feedback page and you can now submit feedback for iBook via the following page: http://www.apple.com/feedback/ibooks_ios.html

  • Ad-Muncher incompatible in Firefox 8, Submit Feedback buttons Not Working

Hi! I just updated to Firefox 8, and now Ad-muncher won't work. Firefox says it's an incompatible add-on. Since I paid for Ad-Muncher and have found it works beautifully, would it be possible for the Firefox team to fix this? I'm sure that all the Ad-Muncher users out there would be very grateful! :-)
By the way, the "Submit Feedback" button isn't working on the "Firefox made me sad...happy...new idea" page.

Add-on compatibility is the responsibility of the add-on developer, not Mozilla. See Ad-Muncher for an update.

  • Cannot give Firefox feedback even though I am on the most upto date Firefox for my system. How can I give feedback?

When I click the feedback button, the website tells me that I have to be on Firefox 6, and I must update.
The update page tells me I am on the most up-to-date Firefox for the computer I am on!
How can I leave feedback? Can I change the way the webpage sees my browser (maybe edit the browser identification string)?

I expect you are trying to use something for Alpha/Beta Testers, who are using something later than 6.0.2 in version 6, or using version 7, 8, or 9.
You are on the latest version available on OS X 10.4, you would have to be on at least OS X 10.5 win an Intel chip to use Firefox 6.
Mozilla is not doing development work on Firefox version 3.
If you need help with what you have this is the place. What kind of feedback were you trying to provide.

  • How can I submit a suggestion for autocorrect changes in Brazilian Portuguese?, How can I submit a suggestion for autocorrect changes in Brazilian Portuguese?

I know it might sound a little stupid, but there's an autocorrect change that EVERY iPhone owner in Brazil hates and it's, in my point of view, so easy to solve in a next software update.
In Brazil we use a lot the word "bora" as a slang, meaning "let's go". It's not a real word, is a short for "vamos embora", but everyone uses it. the pronblem is all apple devices autocorrect it automatically from "bora" to "Borá", which the only meaning in Portuguese is "the name of the smallest municipality in Brazil (around 800 citizens)". So obviously, NOBODY will EVER be talking about "Borá" in their conversations. It would be very fullfilling to type "bora" and not even see the suggestion for a change, nor the autocorrection itself. I know it might sound stupid, but there are even Facebook topics talking about it, everybody already HATES the poor tiny village because of that, LOL...Hope someday it can be fixed by Apple.
    Tks!

You can submit feedback at http://www.apple.com/feedback
and you can turn off Autocorrect altogether.  Settings => General => Keyboard => Toggle off Auto-Correction.  This will obviously turn off all of the autocorrections.  I don't know of a way to edit the Auto-correct dictionary.

  • I tried to send a Feedback but the there's no link for SUBMIT FEEDBACK!

I was trying to complain about this: "Somehow eBay snuck into the search box in the upper right of my Firefox screen and I want it OUT of there!" I found how on my own but that doesn't answer the basic problem that SUBMIT FEEDBACK has no working link (or doesn't give any indication that it's working).

  • I know this is a little early, but I have some really great ideas for ios 8. How can i submit these to apple?

    some of my ideas are
    1. lockscreen widgets
    2. the ability to kill all running apps with just one button
    3. having the ability to select your albums and songs within the pull up controll center
    4. Incorperating battery saving technologies from mavericks into ios 8, such as time collessing, and app nap
how do i subbmit these ideas

Apple does not accept unsolicited product ideas. You can submit feedback using the link razmee provided, but don't expect any acknowledgement.

  • Can't Submit or Start Compression Project

When I try to compress video, I click the first 'submit' button.  The project name/cluster/priority window drops down.  But I can't 'submit' from there.   The 'submit' button is not highlighted.

I ended up having to download Firefox because some of the features of the Wiki site we use does not work with Safari. I'm guessing that is the same issue with WebCT.
I found the information that answered my own question.
    Thanks anyway!

  • Can not use feedback application

I get the following error when I try to run the feedback application:
To use Windows Feedback, you must be registered with the Windows Insider Preview Programme , and connected to the Internet the first time you run the feedback app.
(The spelling error is Microsoft's error not mine)
Yet I am registered for both the enterprise and general public technical preview insider programs.
I would love to give feedback on some personalization bugs I have encountered but can not send them.

    Hi,
After we switch to a Microsoft account, we need to join the Microsoft Account into the  insider program through the following link:
https://insider.windows.com/ (Or the next time the error appears, click on the
Windows Insider Preview Program, this page will open directly.)
After we accepted the agreements and receive the successful joined message, close the feedback tool and open it again, then we will be able to use the feedback tool.
If we have already joined the Windows Insider Preview Program, the feedback tool would become available once we switched to the Microsoft account.
If issue still insists, try with the Apps troubleshooter,  Which would also work in Windows 10 Technical Preview.
Further, we could also submit feedback and suggestions with the following forum:

  • How do I submit feedback about "Submit Feedback" not working?

It would seem that the Mozilla people do not want negative feedback? The "Firefox made me sad" page will not allow me to submit anything. The "Submit Feedback" button does not do anything. The address is input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback#sad.
I was unable to send more than one idea to the feedback at input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback#idea. Is there some kind of limit on the number of ideas that one computer will be allowed to send? Again, the Submit button does nothing.

I have not been allowing the imput site to set cookies, and I did clear the cache and the history. I was able to post another idea, but when I tried to submit the same one that I wanted to input before, that was blocked. I am beginning to think that there are maybe some key words that Firefox is set up to recognize and block any input containing those. Is that likely?
The issue which concerns me is the one about Firefox 6 greying out most of the text of the URL in the address bar. I have enough problems reading text with low contrast between text and background, and do not need the interface to be made that much harder to use. I am not the only person with such a problem. Copying other browsers just because they are doing it does not make it desirable.
