Can't subscribe to iCloud calendar

I am trying to subscribe to my iCloud personal calendar on my work PC using Lotus Notes 8.5. I have shared the calendar but when I try to subscribe Lotus Notes says the URL does not 'conform to the iCalendar parsing specification." - any ideas on how to subscribe are welcome....
Cheers
Stephen

It only works for public calendars not for private ones. I have added the details in
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3465234?start=0&tstart=0
But how would you do it for a privately shared caledar?

  • How can I get my iCloud calendars to show up in Outlook for Mac

I just bought a new Mac and downloaded MS Office 365 for Mac.  How can I import my icloud calendar into Outlook?  I can't find any concrete info anywhere online.
    Thanks!

Apple's documentation doesn't mention this as far as I can see: however it's correct that subscribed calendars could not be viewed on MobileMe (though they did sync to other devices: however it would seem that what was synced was the details of the subscription, not the calendar itself, so that effectively the other device just subscribed to the calendar afresh).
I think that, subject to  correction from someone who's managed to do this it's a safe assumption to say that you cannot view subscribed calendars on the iCloud website, and that this is very likely a limitation of the CalDAV process.

  • HT5824 iCloud and Windows 8.1:Outlook 365 can't sync my iCloud calendar

I recently installed the windows 8.1 on my PC and now Outlook can't sync my iCloud calendar. The calendar works fine on my MacBook Pro and the iCloud app on my windows start page opens the iCloud calendar. It shows all appointments when I view the calendar in the ap but I use Outlook 365 for my business email and add appointments to the Outlook calendar. I see the iCloud calendar listed on the My Calendars panel, but now when I click on it I get the message: The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened. It was working in the original Windows 8.

    Hello ronontheright,
Do you mean that only the Exchange account in the desktop Mail app can’t sync?
Please take a look at the following article.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2012/11/26/supporting-windows-8-mail-in-your-organization.aspx
Exchange ActiveSync can be used to sync data for email, contacts, and calendar. The Windows 8 Mail app supports Exchange ActiveSync.
Please open the Windows Store app Calendar and People to check if they can normally sync.
Please try to remove the account in Mail app and sign in again and check if the issue still exists.

    GeminiStargazer,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
You may want to try the Australian Holidays Calendar on iCalShare.com.
According to the publisher of that calendar:
"The Apple supplied Australian Holidays calendar is pretty dismal. This is an attempt at a much more accurate and useful version."

  • Can you share an icloud calendar with someone using gmail?

I manage all my calendars on icloud and want to share one of them with my partner, who uses gmail and android phone. The events do not show up on his phone. This is because its not possible to do this or because we are doing something wrong?

You can only share a read/write calendar with another iCloud member. You can share a read-only calendar with a non-member: the recipient can subscribe to it in iCal. Just get them to open an iCloud account if they have Lion on their Mac.

You forgot Windows.   Windows users get preferred privileges over Snow Leopard.

  • Subscribe to iCloud calendars with  10.5 leopard

    Hi All
i have icloud on my main mac running 10.8.2 and I also have a powerbook running 10.5.8.
In the past there was a way of subscribing to your own calendar via an email link so that you could view you iCloud calendar in 10.5 but this doesn't seem to work anymore.
Does anyone know how I can access my iCloud calendar in the iCal app in 10.5?
    Many thanks
    Garry

No.  But is you can upgrade to Snow Leopard you can try the techniques in these websites:

iCloud Mail settings in Snow Leopard

  • Viewing/subscribing to iCloud calendar in Outlook

I would like to view my private iCloud calendar in Outlook on my work PC.
Of course I tried the iCloud control panel for Windows but the corporate network filter prevents the control panel from accessing the internet (accessing icloud.com, dropbox.com etc is blocked).
Is there any way to just get read access, eg by subscribing to the calendar URL?

    Hi,
Let Person B create an other account on Outlook without iCloud, test if you can sync the attachment.
If the issue is only with the iCloud Application for Windows, it should be an iCloud issue, the support we can provide is quite limited. You should contact Apple/iCloud support on this, and I have found the your thread in Apple Support Communities. Good
    luck.

  • Can I use my icloud calendar on microsoft online?

    Hi,
I am new to this forum. I am currently using icloud with my iphone 4s and outlook 2007. It is very convenient being able to push my contacts and calendars to both iphone and pc.
My question is whether I can also push my calender information to office 365/microsoft online. We currently share calendars created by microsoft online but i can't work out how to share the icloud calendar.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me,
    Babychat

    Yes.
However music has nothing to do with iCloud. For music, make sure you log into iTunes using the same Apple ID you use for iTunes on your first iPad. For photo strean, cantacts and the like, make sure you log into iCloud using the same Apple ID you use for iCloud on your first iPad.

  • Can't share my iCloud calendars with 30 boxes

Was using 30 boxes to post my iCloud calendars to my website (as a former Apple employee, I get that certain features have to be worked out; but really not being able to host calendars on a webpage or share with google for years is just plain sad...especially when it's for such petty reasons) for quite some time with no problems. After I updated to Yosemite, I re-organized my calendars and realized they were no longer updating to my 30boxes calendar. I tried to re-sync them, but now 30boxes won't recognize any of the webcal links. As I use this calendar on my business' website it's caused major confusion with my staff and I'm trying to desperately get my calendar back up without having to switch entirely to google calendar.
I'd love to be able to ask 30boxes about this, but they have no support forum and it seems likely that this is one in a long line of iCloud compatibility issues. I heard about 30boxes on this forum (sadly it was the closest thing to a fix anyone here has been able to point to for a lot of Apple's calendar problems) so I'm hoping others here have a work around, or maybe another 3rd party site I can use? I really don't care how, I just want to share my calendars with the my non-macintosh employees easily.

  • Can you sync an iCloud calendar to a Google calendar?

Hi all. I have searched the forum for an answer to my question but haven't found one. Lots of variations though!
I have an iCloud calendar that I set up on my MacBook.  I can access the calendar on my iPad, iPhone etc and all is good.  I have shared this calendar with some friends who also use iOS devices.  They can access the calendar via there iOS devices and all is working well.
What I need to do is share the calendar with friends/colleagues who are not Apple users. I don't want these individual to have edits rights, I only want them to view only.  From going through the forum it seems that with previous verisons of OS X you used to be able to publish a calendar to a webpage. This would be ideal for me!! However it seems that with current version of OS X you cant do this, or not with iCloud calendars anyway? Maybe I am wrong here?
Anyway, I thought that a workaround could be that I could sync the calendar with a Google calendar and then publish the Google calendar online and just share the URL with my friends/colleagues who need to see the information.  However I don't know if this is possible.
If you are reading and know a simpler way of of achieving this then I would love to hear from you.  Basically I have an iCloud calendar that I want to make accessible to lots of people, ideally through a webpage or URL.
    Thanks in advance.
