Can't subscribe to YouTube channels (works in IE)

I have 2 computers running Firefox (the latest, automatic updates) with AdBlockPlus and WebDev for addons.. Both computers I can't subscribe to Youtube channels. It does work fine in the latest IE. It worked fine last week. What could it be? I tried disabling ADP but issue still remains

I am on windows 7 x64 with the latest Firefox (auto update). Either way my troubleshooting steps were:
Manually disable all add-ons (web developer and abp) - Still an issue
Then I discovered under Firefox Help "restart firefox with addons disabled" - Still an issue.
3rd step - I uninstalled Firefox but retained the data - Problem still persisted
Lastly - I uninstalled Firefox and removed all data = Problem SOLVED.
My other computer fixed by itself. I am still not sure what was the issue and I am little bit hesitant to install WebDev and ABP.
Just shows that most software problems can be fixed by reinstalling it.

Whenever I am viewing a video on youtube, it will stop playing at random points and if I click the play button it won't work. This doesn't happen 24/7 but I really want to get it sorted. I have tried re-booting but that doesn't seem to work. Please help?

Souns like a networl problem/slow network. The iPod can't download the content as fast ad the iPod is playing it. It is called buffering since to help avoid that the iPod tries to download it a little faster athat it is used and store it (buffer) to help allow a continious playback with minor slowdowns in the network.

OK. Following instructions, I've uninstalled the old Flash Player and installed the right one, and videos are now playing. Thanks for pointing me to the other posts on this site. YouTube and other videos are now playing
Some of the videos still play jerkily (they don't stream evenly). A few stream evenly once they've been allowed to buffer fully. (I think I'm using these terrms correctly.) Is this solely caused by low bandwidth, or is there something—an adjustment of some kind—that I can do with Flash Player to have online videos stream evenly, even from the moment I start them?
As I mentioned, to bypass this uneven streaming while watching online, I download the videos and watch them usually using Quicktime Player 7.6.4. Still, they don't always play evenly, but for the most part do.
I've just tested bandwidth and I'm told:
5.63 Bbps Download speed
0.63 Mbps Upload speep

Now when I go to my address book on YouTube it freezes and I often have to use CTL + ALT + DLT to stop it and start over.
Is this a Firefox or YouTube problem? I tried looking at this page on IE and the same thing happens.

You are telling us by yourself that is a Youtube problem, because it happens also on IE.
Anyway that may be an issue with your e-mail account. Maybe you have too many e-mails and YouTube gets so busy trying to add all of them. If you hadn't added them already, you could export that directions to CSV and divide the CSV in parts so YouTube wouldn't have so much work. How many directions you wanted to add?

MythTV can't find DVB-T channels with HVR-4000. Kaffeine works great.

I just buyed a Hauppauge HVR-4000 for DVB-T (by now, later DVB-S too).
I followed this guides:

The DVB-S is "/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0"
The DVB-T is "/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend1"
As wrote here: http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Haupp … V-HVR-4000, i made a link from "/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend1" to "/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0" so that MythTV can detect my DVB-T decoder (works), but still can't find any channels on DVB-T adapter.
Kaffeine find all existing channels and plays them fine (good image and sound).
I tried analogue TV too with following devices:
/dev/video -> /dev/video0
/dev/v4l/by-path/pci-0000:01:01.0-video-index0
/dev/v4l/by-path/pci-0000:01:01.0-video-index1
but he can't find channels too (TV Time can).
My sys:
Archlinux with Kernel 2.6.30, MythTV 0.21.

did you try to import the channels.conf from "scan /usr/share/dvb/dvb-t/whatever > channels.conf" instead let myth scan channels for you.

Why can't I upload a photo to my youtube channel art.

Tying to set a photo from iPhoto as my youtube channel art but it says there is an error and to make sure photos are jpeg, gif, or png.
When I look at the info for the photo, it is a jpeg...
What do i do?

IMAP Almost Working, But Can't Subscribe to New Folders

We've got a shared IMAP folder that I'm accessing just fine. Unfortunately when someone else adds a folder I can't seem to subscribe to it.
I can see the new folder when I go to "Get Account Info" (it shows up nicely under Quote limits) but the subscription list is blank so I can neither subscribe or unsubscribe to them.
I've read that this is an old problem - http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=5668307
There must be an easy fix for this problem. The ones that were there when I first loaded the IMAP account all show up, so perhaps I need to delete & reinstall it. How crude!
This is with an SL upgrade. I just migrated from Thunderbird, wondering if that might have been a mistake.

I have left BT Broadband -- we've moved abroad -- and want to retain my BTINTERNET.COM email address etc but have been unable to use any of the sign-up processes for PremiumMail. I've spent hours about this with BT helpers over the phone before we moved -- I've just spent more than an hour trying it all again, following the advise of the helpers to the letter.
Please help to solve this once and for all -- our 90-day grace period is almost over.
When I try the 'upgrade your mail' link (http://register.btinternet.com/cgi-bin/load_page?head=/templates/home_header&page=/register/chprodpw...) and I enter my current details (that I use to access my btinternet.com email address), I get this notice:
"Sorry, but there seems to be a problem with the status of your account. Please contact the BT Yahoo! Internet team on the link below for help." That help link takes me to the email-address sign-in page.
When I try the 'get it [PremiumMail] now'-route via https://register.btinternet.com/cgi-bin/registernow?version=ie5&ex=1&product_type=PMR, and I access all the relevant data, I get to a point where I have to choose a primary email address etc. When I enter my current details (ie my current email address at btinternet.com and my current password), I'm told that's already been taken.
What to do?
Before we left we were told that the online sign-up process is faulty when you try to sign up to Premium Mail while still in the UK -- but that it's all fine once you're aborad. Well, it isn't.
I've tried Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers. It makes no difference.
I cannot lose the current email (btinternet.com) address, it's used for too many important purposes etc. If you can advise me how to complete a subscription to PremiumMail and therefore retain my current BT email accounts it would be much appreciated.

     Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Follow the prompts.
    Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
    Press " Manage Website Settings" button for more options.
