    Hi Vickie,
As Kirsti mentioned, getting your OS and any error message will be helpful.  In addition you might want to review this help document which covers the common installation errors:

Why can't I download adobe flash player, I have tried everal times

The download does not install Flash. You should find the downloaded file in your Downloads folder. Double-click on the .dmg file then double-click on the installer icon once the disc image has been mounted.

Why can't I download Adobe Flasher?

I understand what afevrier is talking about and I am having the same issue.  I can look under system preferences, flash player, advanced and it shows me that I have the most current plug in version.  I click check now and I downloaded the most current version, but still, cannot access any thing that requires Adobe Flash.  There must be some other preference that we have set up that is not allowing us to use this.  Thoughts from anyone??
A few questions. Where in Adobe Flash System Preferences does it say you have the most current version before you click Check Now? In my Flash Preferences at least, if I have the latest version I will be told that and not be offered to download it again. You can also find out what the most current version is by checking here http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ as well as what Adobe sees you have installed.
What browser are you using Flash in? Do you have any extensions installed, such as NoScript or Ghostery which sometimes interfere with Flash working? There are other extensions too which cause such problems but are IMHO essential none-the-less for reasonably safe surfing.

Why can't I download adobe flashplayer on my iPad 2?  Several web programs, including Hayhouse radio, require adobe flashplAyer.  iPad has an app for Hayhouse radio, but won't work without flashplAyer to access all content.  I just got iPad for Xmas and am not sure I want it anymore cause I have so much trouble accessing web programs.  Never had an apple before!  Thank you so very much for any advice you can give me.  Crychak, oldsmAr Florida.

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
Here is Steve Jobs official comment on his momentous decision to omit Flash from iDevices: Steve Jobs on Flash.
Here is Adobe's later announcement to cease development of Flash for mobile devices: Adobe on Mobile Flash.
Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.
Apps that can display some Flash from the Web:
    Puffin
    SkyFire
    Photon Flash
    Browse2Go
    iSwifter
Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

  • Why can't I download Adobe Flash player since I upgraded to Yosemite?..

I have not been able to download Adobe flash player since I upgraded to Yosemite on my 13 in  MacBook Pro purchased in Early 2011 Processor 2.3 GHz i5  Please Help!!

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and except as stated in this comment, I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmymac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button. The uninstaller might also be accessed by clicking the Customize button, if there is one.
Back up all data before making any changes.
You will generally have to restart the computer in order to complete an uninstallation. Until you do that, there may be no effect, or unpredictable effects.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" such as "AppCleaner" and the like that purport to remove software.

  • Why can't we download adobe flash player

I have tried to download adobe flash player because I need help with my mobile. I then tried to download it but I wasn't allowed.    WHY?

Search this forum for "Flash", or look to the right under "More Like This".  You'll find a plethora of discussions on the topic with a number of alternatives presented (none of them ideal, but one of which may work for your needs).
    Regards.

  • Why can't I download adobe flash player

I have an IPad 2 and an iMac PC. Apparently I can't watch a lot of sites because apple don't support adobe flash player. What is the alternative. I can't believe a company as big as apple haven't got a solution.

  • WHY THE HECK CAN'T I DOWNLOAD ADOBE FLASH PLAYER?!?!?

When I first got my IPhone I loved it, but the more I use it the more limited it seems to be, my latest gripe is with not being able to view 'FLASH' content and how many websites are out there with flash stuff?!!
APPLE; you really need to asters this quick smart... If your problem is with adobe specifically then you need to either release your own version of the software or get on the blower to another company and start releasing something cause this is "********"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stop focusing on world domination and start more on customer service!!!!!
P.s: when I signed up for being able to discuss what's on my mind (another painful apple process that was) it wouldn't show me the terms and conditions properly and un full no matter how much I tapped/clicked on it I couldn't scroll down further. As a result I am advising you that I had no other option but to click I accept only for the fact that if I hadn't my rights to voice my concerns would have been denied all as a result of your faulty software and I saw no other alternatives in order to make my point of my dissatisfaction as I also checked out the support pages!  Thank you again apple!

Flash was designed for computers with cooling systems, it runs fine on my single core Atom netbook even.
The new iOS devices come with dual core Atom-like A4 netbook processors, but atlas! no Flash.
It's because Flash needs cooling and those iOS devices don't have it.
So dump the phone if the lack of Flash is such a bother, it's a overpriced, over rated phone that has little purpose that a regular phone with text messaging, a laptop, a GPS, a camera and a iPod can do so much better and cheaper as they are separate devices with more abilities.
