Can't sync all checked marked songs.

I just added my device to my wife's account. I checked marked all the songs I wanted to sync to the new device. itunes only let me sync maybe 40 out of the 90 songs I check marked. When the synching is complete is says "Some of the items in the itunes library were not copied to the ipod because you are not authorized to play them on this computer." All the songs were purchased through itunes. Is there any way around this?

Have you authorized your computer? If not, head to "Store" and then click "Authorize." If it already is, try simply de-authorizing it and then re-authorizing it to see if that helps.

Lost & Found
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist (it may take some time to count the tracks that are to be dropped). Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist.
Optional: It depends a bit on why things aren't where iTunes expects to find them but if they are in sensible Artist & Album folders in some common location then my FindTracks script should be able to reconnect them to iTunes. FindTracks uses some fuzzy matching routines and searches for multiple potential locations. For more details see this thread. Once you have repaired the tracks that can be found you can drag the contents of the Lost playlist into Found which will update things.
Or, you can simply delete all the tracks in the Lost playlist with Ctrl-A to select them and then Shift-Delete to delete.

Assuming you haven't taken up too much memory from apps to hold the 11 gigs of music...
After you plug in your iPhone, go to the music tab. Make sure you have it set to sync all music.
If apps/books/etc. leave you with less than 11 gig of space for you music, make playlists and sync those instead

The "bar" at the bottom does not say anything about all of your songs being on the iPod. It just shows you how much of its storage capacity is being used, based on what is on the iPod.
If you see "On This iPod," that means the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is not visible. This is easier to describe with the sidebar visible, so from the iTunes menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
Select the iPod in the sidebar, under DEVICES. There is a bar of buttons near the top, starting with Summary. Click on Music next to Summary. This is the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box for Sync Music. You can choose to sync Entire music library, if (?) your iTunes music library fits on the iPod. With this setting, your entire iTunes music library syncs to the iPod, and new songs get synced automatically. A 7th gen iPod nano is 16GB, so your iTunes music library would have to be less than 16GB (not counting non-music content on the iPod). Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Then, select (checkmark) the playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres you want on the iPod from the lists below. If you want newly added songs to sync to the iPod, they must be part of your selection. For example, you can add them to a playlist that you have selected for syncing to the iPod.
When you click Apply, the songs from your selection sync to the iPod. Going forward, changes to your iTunes library (based on your settings on the iPod's Music screen) sync automatically to the iPod, the next time it is connected (or when you click Sync).

I have all of my songs checked, and I have it checked under settings that it should sync my whole library. I have enough memory on my iPod, but yet it still will not sync all of my songs and neither will my iPad. Also, I have all the rights to purchased music and my computer is authorized to play them. I didn't ever say it was the problem. I was trying to get more information as to how your iPod was set up to sync. That might have led to a solution. Either way, glad to hear you managed to get it figured out!

My iPod Shuffle can't sync all the music in my playlist at once!

I have a two year old iPod shuffle and starting now, it can't sync all the content at once! It can only sync one song every time I press autofill. I don't want to restore it; it would take a long period of time. Please give me some tips on how to resolve this issue. Thank you!

Make sure that autosync is disabled in iTunes, connect to your new iTunes, right click on it in the device list and choose "transfer purchases" This will copy all apps and bought media to your computer.
After that, right click again, this time choose "backup" to save your app data and other settings.
Make sure to have at least one contact and event set up on your computer before your sync for the first time.
Your ipod will be erased, but you can restore it from the manual backup you made before.

Try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists choose no and it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

I can not sync all photos in Aperture into Iphone 5. It always can sync some photos into 5. Then finish and prompts: "itunes can not synchronize (other)thousands of projects, and see more information in itunes". That means most of my photos can not seen on Iphone 5, it seems just can't import to 5. Is that the problem of Iphone or the pictures in Aperture, or even just because lack of sufficient space?
