Can't sync audio properly

I KNOW it's something I'm not doing correctly so here goes.
I'm trying to sync up bad quality audio with a good recording.When I move one layer of audio +00:00:00:01 to the left or right it's still not directly below the other audio file. Can you tell me how to rectify this please?

Dougie,
If you are trying to sync Audio (or Video for that matter), make sure that the Snap feature is turned off, otherwise PP will move incrementally and try to Snap to someting. Don't forget to turn it back on, once you're done with the syncing.
I also find it much easier, if I zoom in on the Timeline, when doing this work.

I thought I saw somewhere that Premiere CS6 would automatically sync audio. ie from a zoom to 5D footage? Or do you have to use plural eyes?

PP can sync if both clips have the same timecode. Otherwise you'll need outside tools.

Can't Sync Photos properly

I have the latest iTunes version and can't Sync my photos properly. Syncing doesn't remove the photos on the iPod and doesn't add new ones. It leaves things the same.I get a message about unable to Sync because it can't find the folder yet iTunes lists the selected folder and knows how many photos are in it. My music is still working fine and I can add songs.I've tried everything short of restoring the iPod. I don't want to have to load all the songs back on the iPod if I can avoid it. Any suggestions?

I was having similar problems. I'm not sure if my problem has the same solution, but here's what happened with me. I switched computers and needed to re-sync my iPod with the new computer. The new computer had my old computer's hard drive hooked up. I got the music to synchronize, finally, but no photos would synchronize. iTunes would say that it was synchronizing, but neither the hard drive nor the iPod's drive were spinning and there's was no status indicating progress in iTunes other than 'Synchronizing...do not disconnect'. After many hours of scratching my head, rebooting, trying various suggestions online, I hit upon it: I deleted the iPod Photo Cache in My Pictures on my computer's hard drive. I went back to iTunes, requested synchronization, and, Presto!, my pictures finally started whizzing over to the iPod.

How can I sync audio podcasts to iPod 5th Gen ?

The latest Itunes has really confused me, but the worst is that podcasts refuse to sync to the IPod. Cant save podcasts on Playlists, either. Playlist-on-the-go just laugh at me. I've spent more than a day trying to figure this out, but I'm getting mired in confusion. Please help!

If the iPod was purchased in one of the middle eastern countries that prohibit FaceTime then there is no way to make it appear.
Otherwise you can't find it so:
- use the Search feature to find it or go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Screen layout
- Go to Settings>General>Restrictions since it can be hidden by Restrictions

Can you sync audio books pause points between devices

Greetings.
I use different devices to listen to audio books, i.e. iPhone, iPad, Mac Pro...
Is there a way to keep the pause points synced between devises. i.e. listening to an audio book in car on iPhone, getting home, going to your desktop and resuming where you left off on your iPhone.

Can´t sync iphoto properly after OS4 update

geez I am going mad, after inszalling OS4 I cannot sync properly iphoto with my iphone. I did a restore from backup but it did not help. It either tells me that it is not possible to copy to or from iphone or it just says there is no free space on the iphone which is not true, I have more than 4GB available. Only about a fifth of event will copy and the rest just wont....any ideas what else to try ????

Mine says i have a duplicate file and won't complete sync! I a restore and it initially loaded everything but ringtones......I'm at a loss!!!

Adobe AIR for iphone app: can't play audio properly

I just developed an App by using adobe air. It contains some animations with background music in mp3 format. The problem is that the music is very jerky when the animation is playing... FYI, this is the way how I play audio in flash:new Sound(new URLRequest("m3.mp3")).play() Have I done anything wrong?
BTW, the funny thing is that if you hit the HOME button, and then come back to the app again, everything plays beautifully...

I just finished an app that uses a lot of audio while stuff is animated on the timeline and the sound responds well on all iOS devices. (havent tested on 3GS yet)

Can't sync contacts properly

I want to sync my contacts with Blackberry Desktop Manager, but when I go to sync it, it starts to sync, but then stops. There's no error, it syncs as though there are no contacts. "Please wait a moment," then a ding sound.
I also have three different contact lists. One through Outlook, one through Outlook at the office, and one through Windows Mail. I want to consolidate the contacts into one big address book/contact list, avoiding duplicates if possible. How do I make this work?

Did you already try to reset the Sync history in iSync/Settings on your Mac?

Syncing audio books

I can not sync audio books to my blackberry- which is one of the reasons I got this phone! I have not been able to get some of the music from Roxio or WMP either? Is there an application I need to download?

I have not tried audiobooks yet, but when you plug in your BB to your desktop, you should enable mass storage. If you do, your computer will recognize it as an external drive in My Computer. All you will need to do is click on your audiobook, and drag it into your BB. I hope this works.

Set up your new phone as if it were the old one. Settings, mail, mobile me, same email same password that you used on old phone. You can still sync the old phone to iTunes library. You may have to click on picture of phone on the left & click on back up iPhone. You'll see songs, contacts & calendar downloading in apple slot at the top. When done connect new phone. Authorize computer put in apple ID when that screen comes up & that should allow both phones to share the library. If you use the same ID the same information will be on both phones.

Can I sync my audio books from my iPod touch onto iTunes on my computer using only my computer?? My iPod is MIA, could have been stolen.

I'm trying to determine whether or not I can import audio books from my iPod to my computer using only my computer. I purchased said audio books through the same iTunes account on my iPod that I have on my computer. I can't sync manually from my iPod because I haven't been able to locate it in weeks!! Is it possible to use only my laptop?

The music sync is one way only - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases

I going to recommend again, downloading and installing some video helper applications.
1. http://perian.org/ (this will add a number of different file types to the ones QuickTime already plays)
2. http://www.divx.com/en/software/mac (will add more file types to what QuickTime can play)
Either one of these might be necessary to get MPEG Streamclip to export the video. Failing that the only other thing I have found is an obscurve discussion thread on Avid.com:

I've figured out what the problem is on my end. The video came from Avid on a Windows machine and was encoded with Squeeze. I found out that the 2 seconds of black at the top of the video were at a different frame rate than the rest of the video. I chopped off the 2 seconds of black and started at the first frame of video, exported it with Quicktime Pro and was able successfully view the video in ProTools. Apparently Squeeze will let you create a movie file that has different frame rates within the same movie... This fixed my issue that was exactly as you describe, hopefully it might work for you.
Lastly, you could try converting the video clip using HandBrake

What does syncing have to do with the problem?
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack.
