Can't sync BB Curbe 8310 to Outlook 2007 email

Hi!! I'm a bit nervous. I'm a newbie, so please forgive my ignorance on this subject:
A couple of weeks ago, (before I got my BB), I synced up my Yahoo Mail Plus account with Outlook 2007. Since then, I've been working on organizing my mail, through Outlook.
Last evening, I was able to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar, address book and tasks with my BB. Sadly, I couldn't sync up the BB with the Outlook 2007 emails.
I'm not accessing my info through work. So, I guess that means it's not a BES, but a BIS??
I'm enjoying Outlook and would like to be able to continue to use it. It's nice to have everything in one place.
Any way that I can continue doing what I'm doing?

as far as email is concerned, you can't do anything after the mail is received.
but you can use a BIS synchronization between your email server (pop, imap or GMail) and your BlackBerry device. This synchronization will happen "over the air" meaning through the mobile phone network (EDGE, 3G or CDMA) and does not require you to have a computer.
Check your carrier BIS page and configure your BIS account.

I upgraded my 3gs last night from my Mac at home. Everything went fine, nothing lost.
Today I tried to sync the calendar on my work PC, Windows XP, Outlook 2007 after upgrading to the latest version of iTumes. I have been doing this for well over a year with the old OS ans iTunes with no problems.
I understand I will not be able to do this over wifi with an XP machine, but even with the cable connected it just goes through the motions, saying it is syncing, but the new appointments in my Outlook do not show up on my phone. This is pretty much a one way symc for me, Outlook is always up to date & I just move those events to the phone.
My music is synced with my home Mac and is not on my work PC. I only sync contacts & calendar with the PC.
Any ideas. I feel like I must have an incorrect setting somewhere, but can't find it. Sync with this phone over wifi is not checked in iTunes and I have turned off wifi on the phone.

Unfortunally you are not the only one. I use the 3GS, outlook 2010 and updated
to ios5. It will sync new agenda items made in outlook to min week cal, BUT new made items in weekcal DOSN'T show up in outlook.....
This is a MAJOR!! problem

Can't Sync Calendar and Contacts with Outlook 2007

I have an iPhone and I usually sync my calendar and contacts with my Outlook 2007. But since a few days wherever I change or add a new information (PC or iPhone) it doesn't sync. Nothing changes in any device. No error is displayed. Does someone know what can be possibly happening, since it has worked perfectly since 2009? I have tried to remove the calendars and add it again and didn't have success.

Open Microsoft Outlook. Go to Tools > Options, then in the "Other" tab. Check the box next to " Make Outlook the default program for mail , contacts and calendar. Confirm by clicking OK.
Microsoft Windows XP :
Click on the Start menu and choose Set Program Access and Defaults.
In the left pane, select Set Program Access and Defaults.
In the right pane , select Custom.
A line Choose a mail program default , select your Outlook email client.
Microsoft Vista :
Click on the Start menu and choose Default Programs.
Then click Choose your default programs.
In the left pane select Microsoft Outlook and right click Set this program as default.
Close the window by clicking OK.

Can't sync calendar, contacts, etc. in Outlook 2007

I just got a new computer and I can't figure out how to get it to sync my calendar and contacts to Outlook. I have my Outlook configured to send and receive my Yahoo mail. It was working fine until I download the Desktop Manager software. At that point, I could no longer send or receive email, so I uninstalled it. Can someone help me figure out how to sync the rest of my applications without killing my email?

The following steps will help you to configure synchronization -
Connect your device using Desktop Manager and click on Synchronization
From the menu on the left click Synchronization under Configuration
Again click Synchronization button on the right which will give you option to Select Device Application that you want to synchronize
Put the check mark and you'll get a prompt to Select Desktop Application
Highlight the application name and click next button
Under Synchronization Option you get Direction of Synchronization
Check the radio button with Two way sync
Note: above mentioned steps are explained as per Desltop Manager 4.5
Example: Synchronize addressbook -
Connect you HH with your desktop Manager in your PC. If you device is set to wireless sync then you need to turn off wireless synchronization. To do so go to Address Book -> click Menu -> Options -> Wireless Synchronization: No -> click Menu and Save the changes.
Click on the Synchronize button on Desktop Manager -> Click on Configuration Tab then click on Configure Synchronization -> Click on Choose under Address Book (on the right side of the pop up window) -> Click on you organizer apps (like, MS outlook, Lotus notes etc) -> Select desired apps -> select Synchronization radio button and click OK twice go back to Synchronize tab ->click on Synchronize Now.

It sounds like an earlier version of the BlackBerry® Desktop Software installed on your PC may be conflicting with this installation.
I would advise uninstalling both versions of the BlackBerry Desktop Software then reinstalling the latest version.

On his phone, sign in Settings>iCloud and enable Mail so that he can have his own email address. Then add your account in Settings>Mail, Contacts & Calendars and enable Contacts and Calendars. They will then appear on his phone alongside any syncing he has set up. This will keep your emails separate, or you can add Mail as well so that you can both access that if you want. You can add his account in the same way on your phone and enable any data types you want to sync.

Norton is probably the issue. It can really screw things up, that is one reason I never use it. See if you can temporarily disable it and then try the sync and see if that works.
On a Mac, there is a way to run a program that repairs permissions for the user, not a Windows thing.

edit > preferences > devices - 'prevent ipads, iphones, and ipods from syncing automatically' needs to be checked

Connect your iPhone to the computer, from I tunes screen at the top you can see different tabs, click on info, then choose from that screen from where you will sync contacts, then go down and press sync

I upgraded from Outlook 2010, and now it doesn't update in Outlook 365. Thinking I can't do it, and it's a pity, cause I want it all to integrate on phone and on desktop. No. It was true, but with the v3.0 software that changed - you can now sync your Exchange contacts and calendar over the air, and your Address Book and iCal via iTunes over the docking cable.

None needed. When you set up the exchange account, and choose to turn on syncing of contacts and calendars, you will be prompted to remove all other data, or keep it on the iPhone. Choose the keep option. Note that in that case, your personal data will not be uploaded to the Exchange server - the iPhone keeps them separate (although you can choose to view them in a merged fashion).
I have this set up on my phone (Exchange calendar along side personal and other calendars from iCal). Same for contacts. Works great.
