Can't sync calendars between iphone 5 & ipad 4

I have an iPhone 5 and Ipad 4 (iPad 3 RT), I want sync the calendars bewteen them. I seem to be unable to synce via iCloud. I have tried various combinations of setting up, but still cannot get any syncing done. I would apprecaite any help.
I know I could probably sync whilst connected to my windows PC and a USB, however, iCloud seems to make things a bit easier - or so I thought!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

I signed out of an old apple id on my iPhone 5s and signed in with a current apple id. Backed up my iPhone to the cloud. After this, I lost the calendar information on my MacBook Pro (Phone and MacBook Pro used to have calendars that were synced). I also signed in to an iPad with this current apple id. I have checked the apple id that I am signed into on all 3 devices (iPhone 5s, MacBook Pro, iPad 2) and it is the same on all 3. The phone has my calendar info. The MacBook Pro and the iPad are blank, but they do communicate because I can send a test appointment and it will show up on the MacBook Pro and the iPad but not the phone.
Contacts were not affected. I have the contacts on all three devices.
I have gone thru most of the troubleshooting on the apple website.

Mavericks syncs Calendar via iCloud.
Make sure you have the same iCloud account set up on your mac and your iPhone.
In System Preferences > iCloud, make sure the Calendars checkbox is checked.
In System Preferences > Internet Accounts, iCloud should be an account in the box on the left, and Calendars should be checked in the box on the right. If you have other calendars, for example, from work, make sure those are enabled too.
Check the same settings on your iPhone: in Settings > iCloud, make sure the same iCloud account info is present and that the Calendars slider is on. in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, make sure the iCloud account is present, and that the Calendars slider is on.

How can I sync calendars between my mac, iphone and android phone

I use an iPhone as my primary phone, but do travel alot and need to have a secondary phone with a local SIM card when I travel. For this reason, I am considering buying an android phone. One of my major concerns though, is how would I be able to (if possible at all) sync calendars and contacts between all the devices. Today with iCloud I can get the iCloud syncing between my iMac, Macbook Pro, iPad and iPhone. When I introduce an android device, I am going to have to bring in Google calendars as well, so how do I get my iCal calendars to automatically sync to google calendars without having to creat duplicate calendars or without having to basically migrate to using only google calendars? Same goes for the contacts?

How do i share a calendar between iphone and ipad

I have an iPad 1 and my wife has an iPhone4. Both devices are running iOS5.01. I want to share the calendars so that we can both see each others' calendars. In iCloud we are using the same Apple ID for both devices to facilitate a storage account.
Calendars are turned on in iCloud in each device. The iPhone can see calendar entries from the iPad but the iPad does not see calendar entries from the iPhone. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
When I go into iCloud Calendars are ON for both devices. But how does this relate to calendars in Settings-Mail, Contacts and Calendars that are listed under iCloud and also under all email accounts on the device.
Am I the only one who finds this very confusing?

A couple of more points. When I log into icloud.com I only see the iPad calendar entries, not the iPhone entries.
Is the calendar tied to the Apple ID to an email address or what? The iPhone did have a Mobile Me account but I deleted that since it wasn't being used and that didn't change anything.
Note that Photo Stream is turned on and works perfectly between both devices and also Windows PC.

Since I upgraded to mountain lion my mac book no longer syncs calendars to my iPhone or iPad. I have tried the procedure of deleting the calendar cache in the Library folder to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Sorry, but I don't think I can be of much help on this, as I've switched completely to iCloud for my calendar syncing, and I haven't seen an answer to your problem. Maybe somebody else will come along with an idea.

Ical sync issue between Iphone and Ipad

I seem to be having issues syncing events between my Iphone to my Ipad. icloud is enabled on both and it appears that all the calendars are enabled for syncing. Any help with this would be appreciated.

I'm having this issue as well. I have tried the add new account as was mentioned in other posts (going through the Advanced settings and changing the server location), but it appears that I would be duplicating accounts, and "that is not supported". I also am having issues with alerts not going to me, but to my husband (who has a google.com email). When I check the Address Book to see what the main contact card is, it shows my information, yet I am not receiving alerts and my email is not an option to select. When I changed my Apple Id, he received the confirmation email (as did I). What do I need to do to: 1) get alerts to come to me and not my husband and 2) sync my iCal with macbook, iPhone, and iPad? I can't sync my calendar between my laptop and iPad mini. I don't want to use iCloud, especially as when I tried it, all my entries were duplicated, which took up the whole calendar. Other apps will sync, but the calendars refuse. What can I do?

YOu can sync via iTUnes and not use iCloud. When you connect your iPad to your computer look for the 'info' tab. Then when you scroll down you should see the option to sync your calendar. Tap on that and sync and you can sync your calendar without messing with iCloud.
Alternatively, its not quite syncing, but you can export your calendar from the calendar program, e--mail it to yourself, open that mail on your device and then save your calendar info from there.
I've had to do it both of those ways because I export my work calendar and can't sync with my work computer, also when I upgraded to windows 8.1, iCloud wasn't compatible for about a month or two so I would have had a blank calendar for that time.

Safari bookmarks not syncing to Mac via iCloud - Syncing works between iPhone and iPad.

My iPhone and iPad both have the Safari iCloud option set to 'ON' in my devices settings. My bookmarks sync between my iPad and iPhone correctly but bookmarks do not synce between my Mac and my two devices.

Go to the Apple menu >> system preferences >> icloud. Make sure you're logged in with the same apple ID as you are on the other two devices. If you're already signed in, you can click on Account details to verify that.
Then, make sure you have safari checked off in the icloud preferences. If you already do, uncheck them for a minute or so. Then recheck them.

Sorry, Mozilla has no plans for a version of Firefox for iOS devices. As far as the Firefox Sync service, Mozilla discontinued the app for iOS devices awhile ago, but [https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bookmarks-on-the-go/id550037184?mt=8 Bookmarks on the Go app] took over what Mozilla had created for iOS and the Sync service. Unfortunately Firefox 29 has a new version of Sync that isn't backwards compatible, so Bookmarks on the Go will need to be updated to work with the new Sync version.
I think the major problem between Apple iOS and Mozilla is Apple's "walled garden" approach to software running on their devices and Mozilla's open source approach to software.

When using iOS 6 and its updates, it would seem that Sample downloads from iBooks would sync automatically between my devices - iPhone 5 and iPad 3. Now that I have iOS 7(.0.4 on both) this does not happen even though the same 'switches' are enabled in the iBooks settings. Nor are PDF files on one device synced to the other. Yes, iCloud requires all Lion to be installed on your computer. You can check your contacts, calendars etc on your computer through the website iCloud.com, but you cannot sync the data to the applications on your computer.
