I can't sync photos from Mac to iPad.
I can't sync photos from Mac to ipad2 and i have read on the support page How to fix it but it won't work
Have the photos been taken with the iPad or have the photos been synced to the iPad Air? Photos synced with iTunes to iOS devices cannot be synced back. See this link: iOS: Syncing photos using iTunes
If the photos have been synced to the iPad Air, you need an external app as JimHDK recommended. Or mail the photos, which will be tedious. To delete them from the iPad after transferring them, sync again with iTunes, but select no folders to sync.
If the photos have been taken with the iPad Camera, you can connect the iPad Air to your Mac using a USB cable and then to launch Image Capture or iPhoto to transfer the photos. But that will not transfer synced photos. -

How can i sync music from mac air to zen creative mp3 player
how can i sync music from mac air to zen creative mp3 player
iTunes will only sync with Apple devices. You may find when you plug in your player it appears on hte desktop as another drive. You can drag files from iTunes to that drive. You may need to then place them in a special folder but all this is something for you to research since players differ. We use a Sansa Clip and a RCA player with our iTunes library and that how we do it.
Make sure your player can play the format files you have in your collection. Our slightly older players will not play AAC which is the standard format used by the iTunes Store. If you find that to be the case you will have to convert formats. -
I cant access control on syncing iphone with mac air to get contact via outlook to change on phone
I cant access control on syncing iphone with mac air to get contacts via outlook to change on phone. Worked fine on old itunes.
Hi Steve, Thanks for that. When I conect the phone it comes up with iphoto and starts to sync and then when that is finnished the itunes window shows my phone syncing at the top of the screen. The only button that says iphone which is on top right only asks if I want to eject and then disapears when sync finnishes. I can not see any other way of showing a side bar view and i can not access any way of controling the sycn service. It seems to be syncing calander but not my contacts. Have I missed something?

How can I sync "On My Mac" iCal calendars on Snow Leopard with iPhone and Google Calendar?
Hi,
(I've done a lot of searching for a clear answer but without success.)
Can someone please advise how I can get the "On My Mac" calendars on iCal v4.0.4 (running under Snow Leopard 10.6.8) to sync with an iPhone and Google Calendars, 'over the air' (i.e. not via iTunes) and both ways (two-way syncing).
There was a great bit of software called Spanning Sync which did it all but it's now discontinued. I'm running Snow Leopard and do NOT want to upgrade to OS Lion.
I've tried the iCloud route but it just creates an extra set of "@me.com" calendars under the "On My Mac" calendars - it is not syncing the "On My Mac" calendars themselves (and I want to use the "On My MAc" calendars as the master dataset (the 'Truth database' to use an Apple term!).
... And the same happens when I try to sync my Google Calendars: another set of "@google.com" calendars appear.
Now instead of 2 calendars in iCal I have 6: 2 On My Mac calendars, 2 iCloud ones, and 2 Google ones. (This is not progress Apple!)
Hope someone can advise.
Many thanks. Thanks Winston. I'm aware that the 'on my mac' calendar doesn't get picked up by iCloud. I'm wondering whether anyone can help with the best alternative solution for synchronisation of phone and Outlook.

I have a mac mini 10.5.8 It is a little old and will not support the new iphone 5 for syncing etc.
Do I need to purchase new software i.e. snow leopard or can I download something that will allow me to get the new itunes etc????Hi, Notso Techie.
Syncing your iPhone 5 with iTunes will require Mac: OS X v10.6.8 or later. You should be able to purchase Mac OS X 10.6 via the link below.

Can't sync Outlook for Mac Calendar with iCloud
I've just updated my Macbook Pro to OS X and now I can't get my Outlook for Mac 2013 (14.3.9) Calendar to sync with my iPhone 5. It seems iTunes no longer allows for syncing calendars and it all has to happen via iCloud. Is this correct? How do I get them to sync, then? I've looked in other discussions (from a while ago) and none of those fixes are working. Thanks in advance!
Thank you, randers4. Not the solution I wanted but I am glad to get an answer. I'd thought that since the support articles I'd seen came out before the latest update (you're right, I do have 2011) that maybe there was a work-around. Of course all of this has been discovered after I entered my three kids' baseball/softball practice and game schedules into Outlook. Any quick and dirty way to transfer it all over?
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer me. Copious amounts of time has been wasted on this issue and I'l be glad to move forward.
Warmly,

How can I sync my two Macs & iphone?
I am using MobileMe before and everything is perfect. I have two Macs running OS10.5, one in my office and one at home. I have an iphone running ios 5.0.1.
Can I sync them all together, eg. Contact, Calendar, Bookmark, Mail etc. How can I sync the calendar on my Mac/iphone with icloud Calendar?I have two Macs running OS10.5
Your Macs must be running Lion v10.7 in order to setup iCloud.
First, you would need to purchase and install Snow Leopard v10.6 > Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store
Once Snow Leopard is installed, you can download Lion 10.7.2 from the App Store.
Before you do anything, make sure your Mac meets Lion's requirements.
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OSX v10.6.6 or later (V10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available spare

IPhone synced w/win-new mac now-can i sync info with mac
OK, so I've had my iPhone always sync with my windows computer and now i bought a macbook pro but I'm unsure if i try to sync up all my information will my iphone be erased or will it transfer it to my mac?
Before you sync with the new MacBook for the first time: Make sure you put at least one contact into Address Book, and one calendar entry into iCal. Uncheck the checkboxes for syncing music, videos, etc (because you can only sync music to one computer). Then when you sync, make sure you choose the "merge" option. All of the contacts and calendar entries in your phone will populate to Address Book and iCal, respectively.

ICal AND Outlook - Can you sync on a mac AND on a PC .
I use my PC primarily for work and my iMac for home. Can I sync on both machines?
ok, so i kept reading, and reading in the threads. and found a reference to

Is there a 'better' solution that does not require a 3rd party or does this seem to be the easiest or best solution?
My concern is for updates, I really don't want multiple entries -
Can't sync Palm with Mac through iSync, only syncs with Palm Desktop
I have an older Palm Tungsten T3 that I use basically only to run a medical application that I need at work (ePocrates, which has its own conduit and auto-updates itself with hotsyncs). I haven't tried to sync it to my Mac for a long time. I use iCal for my calendaring needs, sync it with my iPod, and ignore the old stuff that's on the Palm, which I hardly ever even sync.
Today I had to reinstall the Epocrates software, and decided while I was at it I'd try to get the Palm syncing with the Mac (iCal, contacts, etc) again because it would be nice for it to show the same calendar data.
I reinstalled the newest version of Palm Desktop from scratch. Installed the ePocrates software on top of it. I have iSync 2.4. My Palm was not listed as a device initially. I chose "Enable Palm OS Syncing" from the menu; iSync then went through a series of steps in which it disabled several conduits (presumably to no longer sync with the Palm Desktop), then told me to enable the iSync Palm conduit through the HotSync manager, which I did.
I now show the Palm as a device on iSync, but it has a yellow caution icon over it and I'm not sure why. Clicking on it shows an options dialog. I chose for the first sync I wanted to erase everything on the device and then sync with the Mac. My syncs appear to work, but when the data is checked it seems to sync only with Palm Desktop. The old junky data on the Palm was not erased as requested. Newer calendar events and contacts from my Mac have not made it to the Palm. The ePocrates auto update conduit is working fine but that's the only part that is.
Any idea what's incompatible, or what I'm doing wrong here?I have The Missing Sync and used it to sync my palm TX. I am now in the process of trying to get iCal going properly again. No longer have any calender views in iCal and the week views don't show until I have opened a month view and then go back to the week view. Very bizzare. Also have a heap of untitled calendar views in the drop down list option when looking at the info on any event - these calendar views are not accessible anywhere else though.
I'm not sure if it is Missing Sync or something I did wrong at present. Will also throw the problem to the Missing Sync people to see what they say. Will let you know. It seemed to work really well without needing the palm desktop!
