Can't sync iPhone to calendar on PC after iOS6 download
This happened last time I downloaded iOS5 - my calendar on my PC (I use the iCalendar in Outlook) won't sync with my iPhone or iPad through the Cloud I didn't change any settings, but it won't work. Help!
Check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) on your iPhone and iPad. Here be sure you have selected the calendar listed under your iCloud account name as your default. (This is the only one that syncs with iCloud.) If you change this, add a new event on your calendar and see if it syncs to your PC now.

Hi,
after the succesfull update to iTunes 9.1 synching contacts, dates (Outlook 2007) and bookmarks (Safari 4.0.5) does not work anymore. I haven't had any sync problems before the update. All other app, music and videos gets synched well.
iTunes gives two error messages (translated from german, maybe it's an localzation problem?):
1) iTunes couldn't sync information with iphone since Synchronisation is not activated. Do you want to activate Synchronisation?
If you don't activate Synchronisation, itunes can't sync contacts, dates, bookmarks and email accounts to your iphone.
When i try to activate the following error message pops up:
iTunes couldn't access the provider data from sync services. Try again.
Comletely deinstalling and reinstalling of iTunes and ipod services didn't solve the problem.
Has anybody a similar problem or a tip for me? Should I go back to iTunes 9.0.3?

It's oviously a problem of iTunes 9.1, which does not seem to fin the syncserver. exe or some of its dependent files.
User icefoxxxx showed me how to solve the problem. Anyway, Apple has to fix this, many people will have the problem:

you won't believe how I fixed it... my syncserver.exe can't run because some dll is missing, but I notice the dll is in another folder "Apple Application Support". So I copied all files in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
over to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
and it solves everything!
Obviously there is something wrong in registering the former folder by the new itunes installation program. Hope next version fixes it. -
Can't sync iPhone 5 calendar with my ical on iMac

I have 2 iMacs (work and personal) and an iPhone 5 - I use icloud to sync my calandars but for some reason events entered on my iPhone don't show up on my work computer. They do however come up on my home computer and entries from home and work macs sync fine with eachother and my iPhone.

I see that you are not having and issue with the syncing between your home computer, iCloud and iPhone. So we would need to look into the work computer settings to make sure all settings mirror what is set on the other devices. If the hard drive that crashed is the one that stored the itunes library, be sure to restore the library from Time Machine (mac) or whatever backup you use on windows. That will get back your music. I suspect that the replacement drive has an empty itunes library and thus, perhaps, the itunes match used that to sync to its servers.
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

How can I sync Iphone to a PC calendar then have multiple users share that calendar? Is there an application that does that?
If it is actually an exchange calendar, and it's not linked to a specific user, it should be possible to simply add the exchange account to each device in question and have that exchange account only sync the calendar. Then every user has access to the same calendar and can add/edit entries to the calendar as needed.
The same would apply if it were a Google calendar added via Exchange.
If the calendar is not actually on Exchange, but rather added from an outside source, it will depend on that outside source where the calendar originates. -

Can't sync Outlook 2007 Calendar on iPhone 3G, iOS 4, iTunes 9.2, WindowsXP
I did upgrade my iPhone 3G to iOS 4.0 and iTunes to 9.2. Now I can’t sync Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and notes are ok.
I did try to sync on Windows XP SP3 and Vista SP2. I was unable to sync calendar on both computers.
I had this problem before with iTunes 9x. I was able to fix it creating a new PST file and copying all folders to this new file.
Now with iOS 4.x and iTunes 9.2 it doesn’t work. I did uninstall iTunes, clear the Windows registry, and delete all Apple folders. I also downloaded again iTunes and install it from zero. It didn’t work at all.
I also uncheck, check, recheck the Advanced options in iTunes to delete, doesn’t synchronize calendars, and contacts on iPhone… nothing works.
What else can I do to fix this pain? Any suggestion?
DanielSame problem here. Just bought an iPhone 3GS, downloaded iTunes 9.2 and it crashes my Outlook 2007. Outlook simply stops responding, and I have to kill it. Won't even start in Safe Mode. I have to restart the computer to revive it. Next time I start iTunes -- CRASH!

Mavericks syncs Calendar via iCloud.
Make sure you have the same iCloud account set up on your mac and your iPhone.
In System Preferences > iCloud, make sure the Calendars checkbox is checked.
In System Preferences > Internet Accounts, iCloud should be an account in the box on the left, and Calendars should be checked in the box on the right. If you have other calendars, for example, from work, make sure those are enabled too.
Check the same settings on your iPhone: in Settings > iCloud, make sure the same iCloud account info is present and that the Calendars slider is on. in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, make sure the iCloud account is present, and that the Calendars slider is on. -

Can I sync my iCal calendar to my husband's Google Calendar?
I have read many discussions about this here and on other forums, but can't find an answer that works for what I'm trying to do.
I use iMac, iPhone and iPad and keep track of our family's many activities on 3 iCal calendars (so I can use the different colors to track what each kid is doing.) I would like my husband to be able to view and modify these calendars. He is on an Android device, uses Google Mail and a PC.
I can easily sync his Google calendar to my iCal using advice from this Google forum (http://support.google.com/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=151674). I cannot figure out how he can sync my calendar to his Google calendar.
I have exported my iCal calendar and he has imported it into Google calendar just fine, but it is a static picture of the calendar when I export it so doesn't really help keep him up to date.
I have shared the calendar per the link by Roger Wilmut1 (link: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a9479) on this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4599543?start=0&tstart=0. However iCloud is requesting an iCloud account from him to "Join" the calendar in Google calendars.
If he set up an iCloud account (how?? I don't know) could he then access my iCal and sync it into his Google calendar?
I'm trying to figure out if I should just give up on iCal and switch to a Google calendar. It is working so nicely right now with my iPhone and iPad I would love to just keep using iCal if possible.
