Can't sync movies into my new iPadp

Hey i just got the new iPad and i really wanted to sync a few movies into it. I don't use itunes to download movies because i live in israel now and the itunes store in israel has no "Movies" section. Anyway, i just couldn't sync any movie from my computer (Running Windows 7) with itunes. When i drag the movie into the movies section it just doesn't do anything. I just can't understand! I sync songs easily but I just can't sync movies. Please help. Thanks

This means they aren't in Apple-friendly format, that is, MOV, MP4 or M4V. Are they MKV, AVI or WMV files?
There are two things you can do:
- convert them into MP4's via HandBrake, the best and fastest converter available (see http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/87/benchmark-excellent-multimedia-converter-handb rake-vs-commercial-apps for why it should be preferred to even commercial titles)
- use third-party players: It's Playing, AVPlayerHD, GoodPlayer and Buzz Player are generally the best commercial ones and QQPlayerHD / MoliPlayer the best free ones. Sorry, just getting back. Since it is a used phone, you may have to contact the prior owner to see if they cleared their Apple ID and passcode. You could not force it into recovery mode? If you connect your ipod to your computer then look in the hidden folder labeled "iPod_Control" . (This is on a Mac version, but i think it's the same for Windows) and in "Music" is all your music mixed up in different folders. Just drag the MUSIC folder onto itunes then BAM! It's done ;D

- The iTunes backup that iTunes makes included photos in the camera roll. If yo go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices what is the date of the backup? Is it when the photos were on the iPod? You have to restore from that backup.
- What may have happened is that you backup the iPod after you restored the iPod but before restoring from backup. iTunes only keeps one backup and overwrites the previous backup with the changes.

If the movies are purchased, there is no need for an Internet connection to the outside world. If they're rented, you need an Internet connection for the first minute or so that Apple knows that you're watching the movie. I do not know if a rented movie can be stopped and restarted without an Internet connection.

As implied above, if you do not use a metadata tagging utility and share or import your files directly to iTunes the new files are automatically tagged as "Home Videos" during the import process but you can still use iTunes to make them appear in the same directory as your other movies just as you always could chage their display directory. Simply...
1) select the "Movies/Home Videos" tab in the main window,
2) select any/all of the videos you want moved,
3) select the "File/Get Info" menu option (or press "Command-I") to open the "Information" window,
4) select the "Options" tab in the "Information" window
5) Select the "Movie" option in the "Video Kind" pop-up, and
6) Press the "OK" button to move all items selected in step #2 above to your "Movie" directory and close the "Information" window.
If you use a metadata tagging utility to add tags to your videos before import to iTunes, then pre-assign the "Movie" Media Kind tag to your files before import to iTunes. If you use a metadata tagging utility to tag files after import to iTunes, then manually set the "Movie" Media Kind option in that app and let it update the iTunes "Movie" directory. If the metadata tagging utility has not yet been updated to recognized files pre-assigned to the "Home Videos" directory, then manually tag the Media Kind in iTunes as described above before using the metadata tagging utility. I have two podcast folders. I can't delete and redownload the old ones because they are not available any more. How can I get them into the new folder?

The problem of having 2 'Podcast' folders / menu items after adding a new podcast through clicking on a link in the browser has been addressed on the forums by instructing users to resubscribe to existing podcasts, which then appear in the new folder, and delete the old folder. This will not work for me as most of the podcasts I listen to are BBC, which vanish from the web 7 days after they were first broadcast (about which much swearing, but that's unalterable). Consequently I can't adopt this solution.
I have resubscribed to the podcasts using the link in a browser method, so that they all appear and (in theory) will download new episodes again. However, this leaves the old episodes missing. What must I do to get the episodes downloaded from the old podcasts recognised as belonging to the new subscriptions?

I found a very fast and easy solution: I selected all the podcasts in the first window, copied them using the command in the Menu>Edit (Command+C did not seem to work). I then pasted them into the new empty folder. All the podcasts already downloaded appeared. The only problem is that some podcasts did not remember which had been viewed or not, while did keep the information. I just had to re-subscribe to the ones I still wanted by clicking on button.
For some reason, the previous Podcasts folder was only recogized as a list by iTunes, this showed up when I deleted the previous folder (contextual menu). I also had to re-select which ones I wanted synced with my iPad and iPhone.
(I did make a backup of the Podcasts folder in the Finder, just in case, a bit like voodoo computing)

I just tried to sync my wife's new Iphone with "my" ITunes. Bad mistake!! I guess "my" itunes thought her phone was mine and "somehow" went into "restore" mode and basically turned "her" phone into mine - ie. contacts, photos, etc.
Can your have two phones one Itunes?? Or should I just open a new Itunes account on her computer and "start" from scratch?? If I do the later, how do I transfer all the music on "my" Itunes to hers???

You can sync as many iphone/ipads/ipods as you like to one computer/library.
