Can't Sync music to Itunes

I just got a new computer and I can not syn all of my music from itunes that is on my ipod! I can not get it to sync onto my new computer! I need help how do I get it to sync.

Having this problem 2 ive selected music under the iphone to make sure everything is set up right and it says
Iphone can access music in ICloud. songs can be downloaded and played via Wi-Fi or a cellular network
synk voice memos all
thats it no music lots of people are haveing this problem they gotta fix it

Basically, plugged in my phone to put a new cd on, and as it started I noticed the 'other' bar was huge and iTunes was saying my phone was 6gb over capacity and was still trying to sync apps I'd deleted a month before, so stopped the process thinking it was damaging my phone.
I then, thinking the phone had backed up, deleted all pictures to make some space and tried to sync again. The same happened.
Next I decided to update the iOS to 6.1 and try again. This is when I started not being able to syncs anything. Music, film, photos, tv shows, nothing.
The sync will start and the phone capacity bar shows will show how much space will be taken up and the sync skips to the end and nothing has been synced. In iTunes in the music view under devices on tje left the files are greyed out with the sync in progress icon next to them.
I have also got a 'connection has been list to the iPhone' error message which I really don't understand as they are connected via USB and the phone is still mounted in iTunes.
Since then I have tried every different connotation of settings through iTunes to no avail. I've backup and restored, I've restored to a new phone but with no results at all.
I have read 20 or discussions on The Apple forums and it seems that loads of slightly different solutions have worked for lots of different people and I also know many people are completely unaffected by this, but I use my phone more as an iPod than phone.
It's proper frustrating, especially when Apple release a software update for iPhone 4S users but not iPhone 4 owners.
Oh and today it also seemed to be flakey in terms 3G connections.
Oh and since Christmas I haven't been able to use home sharing as it won't finish connecting, it just stops!

The release of iTunes 11.0.2 and iOS 6.1.2 for my iPhone 4, seems to have sorted everything. I can now sync music, films and photos between my MacBook and my phone.
I was dubious about blindly doing the updates but decided they couldn't really mess up any further functionality so I went for it and it's sorted now.
Look in to, and take the gamble, it's up to you.

Can't sync music from iTunes onto my new iPhone 4s

I got a new iPhone 4s through work and already have 3 iPod touches at home that sync fine on our Win7 laptop with iTunes. When I plug my new phone into my home laptop and try to drag/drop the music over onto my iPhone icon, it just shows a circle with a slash through it and won't let me sync the music.
No explanation is provided - just the "can't sync" icon. Really frustrating and not at all user friendly!

I can't sync music and iTunes no longer recognizes my early nano.

I have an early nano, 2G storage. Original install was on my desktop, which had a harddrive crash. Reinstalled on laptop while desktop was being fixed, no problems for a while. Put back on desktop once repaired. I can no longer sync music to my nano from either computer, iTunes on the desktop does not recognize the nano when it is attached, and iTunes and iStore don't recognize my name or password. I'd really like to update my playlist. What are my possible solutions?

I can't sync music from iTunes Library to iPhone

I've just set up my iPhone and whilst the iPhone syncs all my email, calendars etc, it doesn't sync with the music already in my Library. I've tried manually syncing but a 'no entry' sign comes up. I've unchecked all the music, tried almost everything but my iPhone is still saying no content is downloaded.
Can anyone offer some help or assistance please?

Do you have Sync Music selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes and if so, what else is selected under the Music tab?
If you want to manually manage music and videos, this must be selected under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. You can transfer music via syncing or manually. You can do one or the other, not both at the same time.

Can't sync music in iTunes 11

Ok, so after the update to iTunes 11, my iPhone 5 will not sync music. In the library, it shows my full list of albums etc, but when I click over to the iphone tab and then into the music tab, next to sync music it says 0 songs. I tried doing a restore, and then resore from backup... It looks like it's syncing the apps and everything fine, but I cannot get ANY music from my library to the phone... even when I try the new little Add to button under "on this iphone". When I click and drag an album over, nothing happens.
Help! It has now completely erased the music that WAS on my iphone!

Solved... it was a fresh re-install of windows, and apparently my entire library showed was in the cloud and needed to be re-downloaded.

(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I downloaded blackberry desktop manager and deleted my pocket mac because I heard it was more user friendly. I can't figure out how to sync my itunes playlists. When I click on MUSIC in the desktop manager it's just blank and I don't see any music there. I've tried everything and am SO very frustrated, please help! I have the most current versions of all the software and I'm using a MAC

Just to make sure, did you install Desktop Manager 6.0?
If so make sure that iTunes is set as the default media library. When the device is connected to your computer go into Device | Device Options then look on the Media tab.

The 1437 error can be an early sign of hard disk damage and/or failure. Try a doing a quick diagnostic on the drive's health status using the instructions posted by another forum member turingtest2 in this older post. He also describes what the numbers mean and how to interpret them.
