Can't sync my bookmarks anymore.

Synced my computer bookmarks with my smartphone and they worked perfectly. Firefox mobile keeps deleting my add-ons and the bookmarks won't appear anymore. Is this a glitch in the system or is that option no longer compatible?

Please note that we are currently experiencing server issues with Sync. Our techies are working around the clock to fixing the issue
and making sure that it works its best. The current option is to try to keep syncing and if you are able to get it to sync properly, we suggest not to sync more than once every 12 hours.

It was a quicky so I will expand now. Yes I know about the Chrome extension which works fine with my account on my PC My problem is my wife's account which I manage via iTunes. When I try to select Chrome within iTunes the only option is IE even though we have IE, Chrome and Firefox available. If I mess about with iCloud on the PC changing the account it points at it threatens to delete everything on my Apple products. Not very helpful!
So is it possible to sync with Chrome not using the iCloud account?

Hey,
I can't sync my iPod anymore. When I go to sync is says
*'The iPod "Loz's iPod" cannot be synced. The required file is in use'.*
I don't understand what file is in use, can someone shed some light on to this problem?

If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
Log in to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauthorise all five, (Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months) and then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time.

I am trying to apply this in a small office and want to see if i can have the same bookmarks on approximately 20-25 computers

You can do that, but with that many computers syncing you may run into some issues.

After updating my Macbook Pro to 6.0 and my iPhone to 10.7 I can't sync my iTunes anymore

After I updated my Macbook Pro today with 6.0 and my iphone with Itunes 10.7 my playlist don't show up and I can't sync them to my iphone.
Old playlist appeared on the iphone that I have deleted a while back but all the new stuff I can't on.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

After replacing the OS on my laptop, how can I sync my bookmarks back to that laptop using my existing sync account? There doesn't seem to be a path to doing this based upon the instructions I've seen.

I've done a clean install of Windows 7 to my laptop and so have of course lost my previous Firefox installation. I do have a sync account and have sync'd my bookmarks to my Android phone. I can't find an option in Firefox to sync bookmarks back to the computer from which the sync account originated. There is of course no sync account set up in the newly installed browser, and my only practical option is to create a new account. I am afraid to enter my current account information here, because I don't want to take the chance of having Sync overwrite my stored records with the pristine state of my newly installed browser. The problem isn't so much that I dont have the facility to rate the files... I can rate tracks from my library using Media Monkey.
The issue is more that I have a couple of thousand unrated tracks - most of them are new songs that i've never listened to before (I work in a music store!). I want to be able to listen to them and rate them when I go for a run, and then have the ratings transferred onto the computer library.

On your iOS device, go to Settings>iCloud, sign in with your Apple ID to create your iCloud account and turn Safari to On. Then set up iCloud on your PC as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html, and check Bookmarks. The requirements for syncing bookmarks with iCloud are:

Finally I got a solution from an Apple guy today. First we did the following steps on an iPad and then on iPhone.
Basically, it comes down to this:
general/restore/ erase all content and settings
set up the iPhone/iPad as a new device
type your iCloud account info
once everything is up and running, wait for a while and first check on contacts, calendars, notes if it's syncing with the iCloud, then open safari and look for the other device. In my case it worked and iPad finally detected iPhone and I could see the safari tabs from the iPhone on the iPad.
But then, Iphone still couldn't detect the iPad, so the guy said the original problem was probably in iPhone. And so we did the whole thing again on iPhone and then I finally had my tabs from all devices visible on every device.

My ipod touch 4th generation keeps deleting my music even after restoring it and I can't sync new songs anymore

Hello, I have an iPod touch 4th generation 8GB that I purchased brand new in January 2013. The device is currently running iOS 6.1.6.
It worked perfectly fine until today, when I tried to sync one single song on it.
While i was syncing it, I noticed that on the iPod screen, the song menu begun scrolling without me touching the display, some song titles became white (as when you're syncing a song) or disappeared leaving blank lines, until the music app crashed.
When I opened it again, it said that there where no songs in my library.
I tried copying my music on the iPod again, but it only copied one song, after that when I tried syncing more songs, iTunes kept saying "preparing synchronization" (or something similar) but nothing happened.
I tried restoring the device, and initializing it as a new iPod (without using any backups) and then I started copying my songs on it again.
But after the 15th song, the problem occurred again.
What can I do?
Is it possible that it's the case of an hardware failure? My photo library wasn't affected, and except for the music problem, my iPod is running fine, it's not even an old device and no accidents even happened to him (like falling on the ground or something like that).
Any tips?

I'm having the same problem with my 4th gen iPod touch. After the update my iPod synched and wiped all my music off - apps & podcasts weren't affected. Restored it a couple of times and that didn't work.
I tried copying a couple of albums over and it would do a couple of songs then the rest of the album would look like it had copied instantly. I tried playing the songs and it would play the first couple of songs once, then it came up with ! Beside every song (including the ones I'd just played and said they weren't on my iPod.
I've removed iTunes from my laptop and downloaded the few iTunes bought albums over WiFi to my iPod. The rest of my music is from cds or mixes/podcasts downloaded from soundcloud so I've had to use a different program to copy some of this music to my iPod for the time being until I can see how to sort this out.

I can no longer access my computer controls when I am on google. Also, I can't find my bookmarks anymore. What happened?

How can I sync firefox bookmarks with safari bookmarks on the same computer

iMac running OS 10.5.8.
When I add bookmark it goes to Firefox but not to Safari. How can I make it do both??
