Can't sync my Iphone 6. I keep getting a message saying my computer is not authorized...
I have uninstalled and re installed iTunes, de-authorized and then authorized the computer. and still getting the message.
Ok I got it to sync by dragging and dropping an album... ***, it would not sync by clicking on the sync button?
I'll update if this fixed the problem.

If you are getting it when your iPhone is not connected to anything it probably means there is line/debris that is causing a short between the pins on your dock connector. Get a soft brush and clean it.

Try removing it again, take the sim out of the try, put it back in, then re-seat the tray.

I can't recall exactly when it started but I can no longer sync my iPhone to my MacBook Pro.
Each time I try to sync I get a message at Step 2 telling me:
but when I follow the instructions given I get this message:
The annoying part being that the computer is ALREADY AUTHORISED!So, I'd really appreciate some help/advice.

I have lost my itunes library after updating it. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and it gets so far then tells me that it cannot be installed because MSVCR80.dll is not installed on my pc. I have no idea what this is and have googled it, followed links to sites that say they can fix it, only for them to scan, tell me I have 3 thousand issues and then want me to pay $30 dollars to fix it for me. This message also appears on firing up my pc too.

When you go to Manage Storage, does it have something at the top like "19.1 GB of 25 GB available"? I only have a Mail account with 5.3 GB in it and a Backups account with 553 MB in it. Obviously, these don't add up to 19.1 GB. There was no change in any of these numbers when I deleted all the same files you mention. With the free Mobile Me storage expiring next month, this is something I'm pretty concerned about.

why do I keep having the problem of authorization. I only have 3 devices authorized when I am allowed 5. I can't sync my I Phone 6 plus on I Tunes. When I try to sync I get the message that this computer is not authorized and I have to go to the store tab and authorize the computer. I do that and then get the message that this computer is already authorized. I try to sync again and get the message that this computer is not authorized and go yo the store tab. I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5 to the original settings because it did not sync my contacts from my last phone (it synced from my husband's phone instead). I am trying to delete everything so I can back it up from my previous phone and not my husband's. I keep getting a message saying that files were corrupt so it couldn't restore settings. Ideas?

but have still been unable to backup data using the third party software.
TouchCopy tells me I have no photos or Video ad won't alllow me to copy any of the critical files e.g. Notes, Calendar, Contacts, Messages, etc.
Anyone have any other suggestions for backing up my iPhone? Or help using TouchCopy?
If I am ever able to get TouchCopy to work, should I be using Copy to iTunes or Copy to PC option?

Thanks Don-yes i'm using the correct apple id and yes I've plugged the phone into the computer-that's the problem, my computer doesn't recognise my phone anymore altho it comes up in iTunes library it won't sync anymore
