Can't sync photos, songs to iPhone 3G after upgrade to OS4

I’m using iPhone 3G. Just restored and upgraded to OS4. All my songs, contacts, calendar could be backup to my iPhone after the upgrade. Then, I downloaded some eBooks with my iPhone. But when I tried to sync the iPhone with iTunes 9.2 one day after the upgrade, no new eBook records shown on iTunes, no calendar updated on Outlook and on photos were sync to iPhone after the backup process. It seems that iTunes only performed backup but no data synchronization was done.
Can anyone help me? I can’t transfer songs, photos to iPhone. Please help. Thanks.

I have a similar, but slightly different issue. Also on an iPhone 3G. Some of my stuff synced, but not all of it. I've got my apps, my contacts, calendar, eBooks, and my pictures, but not my TV shows, movies, music, etc. And when I try to add them back into iTunes (File: Add file to Library), then select them to sync by selecting my iPhone under Devices in iTunes and clicking the Sync Movies box, then selecting the movies I want to sync, and clicking Apply... it says, "The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes Libary. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes Library?"
I don't! And my iPhone is not synced with another iTunes Libary. What can I do?

Can you sync photo editing from iPhone to Mac

I synced some iPhoto events from my Mac to the new iPhoto app on my iPhone. Then I edited some pictures, red-eye removal and warm/cool balance. Is there a way that the changes to my photo can be copied to iPhoto on my Mac because it doesn't seem to work automatically through syncing.

Connect your iPhone with the cable.
In iTunes, select your phone under Devices and go to the Photos tab on the right.
There you can say "Sync photos from iPhoto" and also select which events you want to sync.
So the photo's sync. But what does NOT sync, is the editing of photo's on your phone, such as red-eye removal.

Error (-50) Can't Sync Some Songs to iPhone 4

I have about 4,000 songs in my iTunes Library syncing to my iPhone. They would all sync well until I added one album, The Very Best of Eagles. Whenever it syncs now, it gives me an error saying "iTunes can't sync the song "Wasted Time" to the iPhone "Esteban Valle's iPhone 4" because an unknown error occurred (-50)"
I have already restored my iPhone and set up as new iPhone, reinstalled iTunes, and reencoded the album to no avail. Everything else syncs okay until it gets to this song, "Wasted Time"
What more can I do to fix this?

Actually guys, it's pretty dumb. I had imported also the disc "Hotel California" in the same session, and it turns out that that album had the song in question. I deleted the whole album and will try to reimport it. Anyway, mine's fixed, although now Im ****** I had to restore my iPhone . I'm gonna try to restore back to the old backup again.
Anyway I'll leave the question as unanswered because I know lots of other people are having this problem too, and it will encourage more answers.

Why i can't sync photos to my iphone?

i just update my itunes into 12.1.1.4 and i can't sync photos from my laptop to my iphone. when i want to sync, it says "iCloud Photos is On. (Name Of My Device) can access photos in iCloud. photos can be downloaded to your device via Wi-Fi or cellular network"
what should i do? please help. and i can't delete photos that i've take or save on my iphone from my laptop. it says "you dont have permission to delete this picture"

Can't sync photos on my iPhone after Lion upgrade

After upgrading to Lion and/or the latest iOS, I can't sync my photos with my iPhone anymore.
When I try, I get this message: Some of your photos were not copied to your iPhone because they cannot be displayed on your iPhone.
Anyone know what's wrong?

I have the same problem. All the latest updates as you also have. I´m wondering if it has something to do with merged events in iPhoto (9.1.5), but I´m not shure.... No solution yet...

since my company didn't clear iOS4 yet i'm still using 3.1.3 - and having the problem as well.
But since the problem on my side exists because the file can't be converted at all (manually in the library by right-clicking, neither aac nor mp3 (it is an mp3) I think it can't be related to the sync (in my case). The file seems to broken (only plays threeandsome minutes out of 7 it actually should have).
I defined a "electronic broken" genre and put that song into it since i sync the "electronic" genre and want to keep it that way.

Can only sync purchased songs to iPhone 5 running iOS 7

I have an iPhone 5, on which I installed the iOS 7 GM a few days ago. Everything was fine, until this evening, when I went to play some music, and it disappeared. I noticed that most of my music would just disappear when I tried to play it: if you played an album, the Music app would flip through each track, seeming to delete it as it went by.
I finally realized that these were only purchased (or iTunes Match-upgraded) tracks, ie tracks which contain my Apple ID.
Match is not turned on on this iPhone, nor is music in the cloud.
I restored the iPhone, downloading the official public release of iOS 7, and it's only syncing purchased songs. Of about 3,600 songs I have selected to sync, only about 430 are syncing.
I see no logical reason for this to happen. There are no restrictions on, and there's no reason why the iPhone shouldn't accept non-purchased tracks. I'm scratching my head over this one. Any ideas?

THis has happened to me. I went to the Genius Bar and they had no ideas - it could be my iMac, iTunes or the iPhone - which doesn't help

my lap top was stolen and all my songs were on them, now i just have on the phone. i have tried to down load all my songs but the computer has told me that the iPhone belongs to another computer and has only down loaded all my purchased songs and not the ones that i had converted from records, how can i put these songs onto the iMac, can anyone help me.

I just discovered something yesterday as I was having the exact problems. Here are some questions that I'll ask with my comments next to them.
1. Did you burn CDs onto your computer's hard-drive? If so, your iTunes will treat these files differently than if you had used iTunes or downloaded an .mp3. There are quite a few different formats which can be played on your iTunes or iPhone. They are: .mp3, .wav, .m4a, and more . I have no problems with the .mp3 format, but I do have problems with the other formats. I believe that you would have to convert your format of your song from, let's say, a .m4a to a .aac. Then, I delete the .m4a format to avoid redundancies.
This was my biggest issue, and I hate it. It's very cumbersome. I hate iTunes, in general.

So i recently downloaded iOS 8.3 and because i have very little space on my phone I restored the device and installed the update. I went to re-install my backup but i got the same message a lot of people have been getting saying that there was " corrupt data " in my backup so it couldn't restore. weather that was because of a bad gif/jpeg on my phone i dono but in the end i decided to just start from scratch, which was frustrating to say the least. As I'm about to sync music and photos onto my phone i realize that i cant access any of my photos in the photos library (switched from iphoto after the latest update), i cant even select photos from the desktop to put on my phone. Any explanation? I'm on a Macbook bro with the latest updates installed.

You shouldn't be trying to copy Photos from the Folder Pictures, but from either the iPhoto or the Photos Library.

Iphone Crashed after upgrade to OS4

Hi, i need some help
I try to upgrade my 3g phone, after an hour or so it crashed and reset.
Now all i can see is a symbol of a usb cable and a cd with a musical note (itunes) in the monitor of the iphone.

My iPhoto library lives on an external hard drive. iTunes can't find the library, so I can't sync photos to my iPhone. Why?

I recently migrated from an old MacBook to a new MacBook Air. I decided that since I have many tens of thousands of photos, I would keep them all on an external hard drive in the dedicated "iPhoto Library" (which I was very careful to migrate intact then move to the EHD). Now, when I go to the "Photos" tab in iTunes, all I get is a thinking wheel and no interface with which to choose which photos I want to sync to my iPhone (5s).
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly welcome.

Can't sync icloud songs on iphone

I have a PC, laptop, iPad, 4G and 3GS iPhones. In every instance, except for the 3GS, I'm able to see the music I have on iCloud. I've gone through all the set up steps, upgraded to IOS 5.01 and enabled automatic downloads in Store on the 3GS, allowed for Home Sharing on the 3GS. I've proven the set up is complete because I can see other data sync'd to the 3GS (contacts, calendar). I also purchased Music Match for the year. How come I can't see the music on the 3GS?
