Can't Sync with Outlook

I upgraded to v5.0.1 and cannot sync to Outlook.  Message comes up "Your computer must be connected to the internet to perform this operation.  Please ensure you are able to connect to the internet and try again."  Went back to v4.2 and still does the same thing.
I've tried every suggestion on support forums and even took my PC home to connect to another internet connection.  Both home and office connections are fine, still no luck.  Any suggestions are welcome, this is frustrating.

Hey danna01234,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
This KB article will show you how to setup synchronization with Microsoft® Outlook® 2011: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB19148

  • Can't sync with outlook, error 8393f017

    Hi everyone.
I am using a Nokia E51 and Ovi Suite, both the latest versions, under Windows 7 32 bits.
However, some weeks ago, it stopped syncing with Outlook (calendar and contacts). However, it can correctly sync the SMS messages.
It starts syncing and stops saying that the phone got disconnected, error 8393f017.
The same thing happens with bluetooth and USB cable.
    What can I do?

  • Can't Sync With Outlook 2013 Since Upgrading to iOS 7.0.2

Has anyone else run into this issue and solved it?
    I have an iPhone 4.
NOTHING will sync between my iPhone and Outlook 2013.
With iOS 6, as soon as I plugged in my iPhone, Outlook would launch alongside iTunes because it was configured to sync with Outlook.  Now, when I plug in my iPhone, iTunes launches okay, and then it starts to sync, no errors, but never is Outlook started by default (as it used to in the past).
Even if I manually start Outlook, nothing is still sync'd.
I had no issues sync'ing before with iOs 6 and Outlook 2013.  This is only since I just upgraded.
    I'm running Office 2013 on Windows 8 x64.
    Thanks!

I would recommend using the SEARCH function of the forums and locating the many others posts that have already discussed this issue.

For exemple, I want to put in my task list an alarn for my expenses was due.
    Can you help me ?

ensure that your mail set up is checked for syncing note; your comment on the todo list is valid and i have been asking the same question for a while. ToDo also syncs on blackberry? I guess it shows that third party software is the kick that come corp's need to pick up their act.

  • Ipod can't sync with outlook

i have the 80gig ipod 5th generation, and i cant sync the contacts and the calendar of my outlook. every time i select sync the itunes freezes, i leave it alone for one hour and still the itune stays frozzen what do i do since i have close to 400 to 750 contacts and it would take all day just to synce them in the i tunes

You are not the only one that has this problem (search the forums). I have the exact same situation. Tried Outlook 2003 and 2007. I can actually sync contacts alone, but the calendar sync doesn't work. Apple seems totally disinterested, even though this was/is an advertised feature.
If you search the forums, some folks have recommended various ways to get "unstuck." None have yet worked for me.

  • PLEASE HELP!! CAN'T SYNC WITH OUTLOOK...AND ITS NOT THE 64 BIT VERSION

    PLEASE HELP ME!!
    I have a BB Storm2 9550. I had a laptop with Outlook 2007/Windows Vista/BB Desktop 5 and it synced fine.
I now have a new laptop with Outlook 2010/Windows 7/ BB Desktop 6 and each time I try to configure the Organizer Data to select 'Outlook' for Calendar, Memo, Tasks, and Contacts and select NEXT I receive an error in Intellisync that says 'The Operation Terminated Unexpectedly'.
I have tried completely uninstalling BB Desktop manager from the Application Data folders and registry, reinstalling 6.0, downgrading to 5.0 (which gives me a Microsoft Connector Error).
I have also tried reinstalling Outlook. I read all of the posts concerning Outlook 2010 64bit but I am running the 34bit version.
Please help me.  Right now I don't have any contacts on my BlackBerry and I am so frustrated. I have tried to fix this for over a week now and all the posts I read don't seem to resolve my issue or I don't understand them.
I'll even take suggestions for other ways to sync my data besides outlook (although that is not my preference)
    Thank you
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Log in to an account that has administrator privileges.
    Open a command prompt.
    Type cd C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Desktop\IntelliSync\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector.
Type regsvr32 MsOutlookConnector.fil and press Enter.
Note: For BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6.0, please use the following path:
    C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Desktop\IntelliSync\Connectors\MS Outlook Connector
Note: The following error message might be displayed when step 3 has been completed:
The module msoutlookconnector.fil was loaded, but the call to DLLRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005
If this happens, turn off the User Accounts Control (UAC) and register the MsOutlookConnector.fil file again.
To turn off the UAC in Windows Vista, complete the following steps:
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel.
Under User Accounts and Family settings, click Add or remove user account.
Select one of the user accounts or the guest account.
Under the account, click Go to the main User Account.
Under Make changes to your user account, click the Change security settings link.
Under Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure, clear Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer and turn off the UAC.
    Click OK.
    Restart the computer.
Give this a try it could be that the connector to ms outlook never registered properly.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
I suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything.
    1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
    2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:
KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
    3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:
    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):
KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager for synchronization
    4) Download (to your PC) a fresh copy of your device OS package from your carrier:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    5) Install DTM to your PC
    6) Install (also to your PC), the device OS package
    7) Start the organizer configuration over:
KB17022 How to configure organizer applications for synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Manager
Hopefully that will get things going again.
Good luck and let us know!

  • I tried the troubleshooting tips posted above, Still can't sync w/outlook

Since I upgraded to version 1.1.3 I can't sync with Outlook Calendar on my PC. Before 1.1.3 it took a while (several minutes) now it always gives the error message "iphone has disconnected cannot sync" (or words to that effect)
I went through each troubleshooting step above. Nothing seemed to work. The strange thing is I only got the message asking if I wanted to merge data once. I didn't even get it after I completely uninstalled itunes and all apple apps from my PC. All I really need to sync on my PC is Calendar. Everything else gets synced on iMac.
Any one have any ideas on this??? Thanks, Chip

Thanks for the reply. The Itunes trouble shooting in Itunes help. I don't get an error message, it just states can't see ipod like if it wasn't plugged in. I do get an error message on a few of the songs when sync that say error 50, and state that they can't be loaded to ipod. The weird thing is that I can load all of my libary except the latest 3 albums. They are in my libary but they won't load. I'm not sure but it seems like it started when the cloud came about from amazon which is where I buy most of my music.

  • Why is everything so difficult since 'upgrading' to Maverick. I can't sync my Outlook calendar (default) with iCal or my iPad.

Why is everything so difficult since 'upgrading' to Maverick. I can't sync my Outlook calendar (default) with iCal or my iPad.
Also, I can't send pictures via Dropbox any more. Two basic necessities that I just can't get to work.

Microsoft didn't update Outlook to be Mavericks ready.
I don't really use Dropbox, but if their software doesn't work like it used to, they didn't update it for Mavericks.

  • After reinstalling operating system Windows 7, I lost apps and can no longer sync with Outlook 2010?

After reinstalling operating system Windows 7, I lost apps and can no longer sync with Outlook 2010?

    apps are stored in
    C:\Users\<your account name>\Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications
their extensions are .Ipa  you can try doing a search on your harddisk
unless you formattet it when you reinstalled
but an app can only ever be bought 1 times on an appleID so if you try to buy them again it will give you a free download of the app and not charge you
about sync then if you connect the ipad and click info tab and set it to sync your outlook data it should sync without any problems

    thank you in advance.

Your suggestion worked perfectly.  I can't believe there is nothing in any of the instructions I have seen online at the Yahoo and Apple help sites about the making sure the right default account is checked.  I don't think I was even aware there was a "default account" setting.  Thank you so much.

  • Why can't I get my contacts to sync with Outlook?

Every time I sync my phone (with iTunes) I get an error message that the Outlook sync client has stopped working. My Outlook freezes up and I have to restart it once sync is complete. And I can't get my contacts to sync with Outlook at all. Any ideas??

If you need a more specific response you will need to provide a lot more information, including exact error messages.  Given the provided information one possible cause might be you don't have your computer turned on.
