Can't tell if my upgrade to QT 7 PRO was successful??!

I just bought the upgrade code from QT7 to QT7PRO. I followed the instructions to go into the Control Panel then QT and enter my code. As the instructions said, it read "QT7 PRO" after I entered the code I purchased. But I find no other signs of "Pro". When I click on QT, it says "V7.1". What to do?

hmmmm. have the menu controls that used to be grey in your menus now turned ungrey?
(it's been a wee while since i got Pro, so i can't remember precisely what they looked like without the Pro features unlocked ... but do you now have a selectable "File > new audio recording" command? i think that was grey for me prior to Pro.)

You have to have an internet connection, either wireless or through a computer with iTunes. When you choose Software Update you can only update to the latest version for your iPod Touch, iOS 6.1.6

I recently bought a 27" iMac with Lion installed. Should I be able to download the upgrade for my MacBook Pro without paying. If so what should I do. If I go to the App Store I'll end up paying £20.99

No you will need to purchase the upgrade. However if you own other Macs you want to upgrade once you have purchased Lion then you can upgrade the additional machines. Of course the additional machines must be using the same Apple ID. As long as the additional machine's meet the minimum system requirements listed below you are all set.
General requirements
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.

The music should be in iTunes and your photos should be in iPhoto. What happens if you launch those applications?

Can't set up Microsoft Outlook mail on mac but was successful with iphone

Help. I was able to set up and get messages from my work's Microsoft Exchange account on my iPhone 4 but can not get it to work on my Mac. I'm using the exact same information that I did when setting up my iPhone. Any ideas? I tried both "Exchange 2007" and Exchange IMAP" but neither worked.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
