Can't Title 2nd Axis on Graph

I have a graph with two Y axes. On the Chart Options dialog, Titles tab, whatever I enter in the Data2 Title box is discarded when I click OK. Based on posts to the old Forums, this appears to be a bug that has been around since at least 2002. Anyone have any idea how to get this to work properly? Any workarounds? I am using CR XI Developer (version 11.5.0.313).-JLS

first create the directory ocfs in /mnt and then mount, it will get mounted
give the following command after having created the directory
mount -t ocfs2 -o datavolume,nointr /dev/sdb1 /mnt/ocfs
it will work defenitely!

How many curves can be plot on one 2D graph in DIAdem

Hi everyone,
I want to plot some(360+) curves on one 2D graph.I have results for samples which are measured at different temperatures.I had no problems to plot the curves of all devices for one temperature.But what I noticed when I tried to plot curves of all devices for all temperatures is that it doesn't work.DIAdem (ver.10.2) gives an error if the number of curves is more than 250,how can this be?Is this a program limititaion which can be fixed with a patch or service pack, or I'm doing something wrong?

Hello fscommand,
When you overlay the axis systems, make sure to turn of the colors for the axes, labels and ticks on the 2nd axis system. You can exactly align them in the "position" tab of the "Axis and curve definition" dialog.
You only need to set this up once for every 250 overlayed curves, so it should be a relatively quick and painless effort.

Date on X axis in graph

In which type of graph I could get date on X axis in graph other than line and bar. My graph has date in x axis and aggregate in y axis and a bubble in z axis which graph will support it.

I think Apple is losing it. FIrst my iPhone 4S, which I was tricked into loading the new operating system which is HORRIBLE. Am now looking at moving back to Android. And now Apple TV seems screwed up. Jesus, is this the end?

Can the title of a webpage be removed

Can the title of a webpage be removed from the dispaly of the actual Webpage when you pull up on the web?
so you don't see "About Me" for example.

If you are talking about the Navigation Menu on the page itself, then Apnewbie is correct....just deselect the "include in navigation menu" box in the Inspector Page tab.
However, if you are talking about the title that shows up at the top of the browser window that is a different matter. It is possible to remove the title or at least change it to something else without affecting the navigation menu display. Just open up the pagename.html document for the appropriate page you want to change in a text editor like TextEdit. (With TextEdit, you have to change the "Open and Save" preferences to ignore rich text format in order to see the raw HTML code) Then scan for the <title> tags and change it to whatever you want.
Example:
<title>About Me</title> ===> <title>Sally's Page of Secrets</title>
This is different from whatever is displayed in the navigation menu...that can still say "About Me" and will be governed by the name you assign in iWeb.
Changing the Title tags can make your pages show up more distinctly in search engine results if that is your aim. However, keep in mind that if you make this kind of edit (as with any post-publishing edit), you will have to re-edit the changes every time iWeb publishes the page.

"Canned Magazine Title 12345..." in Adobe Content Viewer?

I am using Folio Builder in InDesign to create iPad folios. When I view a folio in Adobe Content Viewer, the words "Canned Magazine Title 12345..." appear at the top. Does anyone know how to remove this type or change it?

Engage 2008: Line Graph, can't start 2nd series @ different X value

Using Xcelsius Engage 2008
Created line chart w/ 2 series
2nd series does not start at the same X value as series 1.
How do I generate the second series so the initial part of my 2nd series line does not show all 0s?

I'm using Xcelsius version: 5.0.0.99 and Build number 12,0,0,121.   I am not sure if S1 is already installed. If not, where can I get it?
This is what I'm trying to do:
1) created a basic line graph with two series
Series 1 Data has 2 columns
Series 1 Column 1 includes dates. THis will be the labels for the X axis:
1/1/07
1/6/07
1/12/07
1/1/08
1/6/08
Column 2 includes the line graph data for series 1
30
50
10
90
120, etc
Series 2 column 1 - THis is the same as series 1 since it includes the same labels for the X axis
Series 2 column 2 includes the data for the 2nd line graph
HERE's WHERE IT IS DIFFERENT
I have no data for dates 1/1, 1/6, 1/12/07.   My data starts in
2008. I don't want the graph to show 0s for the first 3 dates and then jump up to the 2008 data.   Is there a way to make the 2nd line chart start on 1/1/08?

There is no "values in reverse order" checkbox in Numbers. There are a couple of ways to work around it, the best way is probably to create a third column of data that is the negative of your second column. Plot it instead of your actual data. Create a custom format for the Y2 axis labels where negative numbers don't have a minus sign but positives do.

Financial Reporting Studio - Chart 2nd Axis Title

I have a Financial Reporting Studio (9.3.1) report including a chart (combo) and have "checked" secondary axis and subsequently set a secondary axis title. Upon opening the report the secondary axis title does not show. The font color is black and the font angle is set to 0. Is this a bug or am I missing setting a property or something? If this is a bug is there a feasible workaround? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

This has turned out to be a rather obscure 'problem or feature'. Primary axis titles can include multiple words, single words or special characters and do not require single quotes around the title. Secondary axis title on the other hand require single quotes around the string whether it is a single word, multiple words or contains special characters. This is not contained in the Financial Reporting Studio documentation.

As a matter of fact, there is a library of dual-Y-axis controls, developed
by National Instruments, but for some reason it did not make it into the
official release. I've been using it under v.5.01 quite successfully. The
only problem with it is that if you try to edit it using control editor, LV
crashes (under v.5.1 and WinNT 4).

I'm running into the same problem... can somewhere give me a pointer
to where I might find a library like this? I have done the "put
the y-axis on the right side of the second graph" and it works pretty
well, but I'd like to see how other people might do it.
Hopefully the LabView folk will also implement a scrollbar for X-Y plots
(like they have for the charts) sometime... sometimes strip charts aren't
sampled evenly.

I have a subreport that I'm having a lot of difficulty with and I dont know if I've hit the limitations of CR or I just don't know how to do it. I need to set the subreport graph parameters on the fly and I can't figure out how to do this. Here is the situation:
My report prints a vendor report card, one vendor per report page. For each vendor, I need to access a table and pull all parts that the vendor supplies our company with. Then, I need to create a seperate 2D bar graph for each part that is listed under the vendor. Since this is a subreport and would run for each vendor, and each vendor can have 1 to n-number of different parts, I need to create these graphs on the fly. Is this possible? Any suggestions. The furthest I have gotten was I can create a OLE DB(ADO) command that retrieves the parts for each vendor.
But from there I am stuck. Once I have these parts per vendor, how can I iterate through them and create a new 2d bar graph for each one? The graph itself would display on the x axis all of our vendors that supply us with a part, ranking them. So if a vendor supplies us with Rubber Hoses, magnesium and Aluminum then I would need three graphs, one for each, Rubber Hoses, Mag, Al that would list the vendor on the x axis and points on the y axis pertaining to that specific part. Understand? Is this possible? Help please. Thank you.

The CR for .NET SDK doesn't have the ability to create graphs on the fly. I suggest that you design your report in Crystal Reports and get it working the way you want there. Work as much with parameters and formulas as you can. The .NET SDK will allow you to pass parameters and modify formulas at runtime.

I Have been graphying a polinomial with the intensity graph, but I couldn't see the four quadrants of my image,I can only see the first one, how could I fixed?

I no longer have LabVIEW 5.1 so I only attach a code image of my suggestion.
Front panel:
(1) Change the offset for x and y axis of the intensity graph to -100.
(2) Do the same for the x-axis of the waveform graph.
Block Diagram:
(1) What is the reason for the second sequence? It seems to just repeat the same code. (I removed it).
(2) I am currently graphing "W" instead of "I", because "I" only produces noise (probably because my input parameters are way off). I am sure that with better input values, "I" will make a nice graph.
(3) subtract 100 (the axis offset) from each iteration terminal to get the input variables to go from -100 to 99 (If you want -100 to 100, you need to set the loop count to 201).

Migration assistant can't find 2nd hard drive.

Hello. I'm trying to use Migration Assistant to transfer data (music) from a 2nd hard drive
I have installed in my older tower. MA has no problem finding my first drive but no detection of my second. Is there simply a preference I'm overlooking? Any help would be great!

That sounds like you'd excluded Applications from backups. Or else you didn't wait long enough for all the apps to be displayed.

Yup.
Can I click on the July 20 date and click on restore? Will everything just come back on it's own?
No. You can restore individual items that way (if you have permission to them), but not a whole system. You can restore "simple" apps that way, too, but not "complex" ones -- ones that came with their own installers, because they install other files in other places. If you don't restore those other things too, the app won't work well, if at all.
Can you post a screenshot of the Migration Assistant window that should show your backups (something like this):
