Can't transport two DTP

Dear all ,
I couldn't transport more than one DTP which is uploading same target . On each transport last DTP overwrite previous one .
For example I have two following DTP
Current month DTP
Previous Month DTP
but when I'm trying to transport them just
Previous Month DTP is transported to the target system
Then I'm trying to transport Current Month DTP but it is overwriting on Previous Month DTP
Do you have any suggestions on this problem

We are on SP17 and had a lot of DTP / Process Chain transport problem. Some solution we have two DTP, one for actual and other for previous period.
After aply all these SAP Notes below, we fixed the problems and now we are transporting DTP / Process Chain correctly from dev to quality environment:

Urgent : error to Transport the PC with Two DTP's

Hello Experts,
I have a process chain to load the dta from PSA > DSO->CUBE. I am using two DTP's. everything was working fine thorugh in Development System.
But I am not able to transport the PC into Quality System.
My process chain has the following Variants.
Start Variant
Load Data into PSA ( Info Package )
DTP used to load data from PSA to DSO
Activate DSO
Delete PSA Request ( to avoid duplication in DSO as its full load)
Delete Index ( Iinfo Cube)
DTP ( load data from DSO to InfoCube
Create Index ( Info Cube)
I got a
Warning : A type 'Datentransferprozess' process cannot precede process 'Delete Index' var.   in the chain.
Error Message : Results of check for process DTP_LOAD DTP_D38ID21GB3K7NJOOM7LJQT6BV in
                          chain
                          Process variant DTP_LOAD DTP_D38ID21GB3K7NJOOM7LJQT6BV does not exist in
                          version A.

I checke all the DTP's and data targets in my target system as well as in my source saystem, all are active.
I tested the process chain in Development system everything is working fine. Only problem is I am not able to transport the PC from Development to Quality System..
While importing the Transport request into Quality system imoprt fails and raised error messages.
I did manual load into the data targets in my target system. Every thing was working fine.
Eventhough I am not able to transport the PC into Quality system.
Any suggestions please.

Transporting the DTP

My question is whether DTP's are suppose to be transported from one environment to another...DEV to QUA or QA to Prod...i had a discussion with a few people and got to know that they are client specific and are not suppose to be transported...i 'll appreciate if someone can clarify my doubt and give me a resolution......points will be duely awarded...

As far as Transportation is concerned , between two servers everything can be transported except the
source system , only mapping can be done for source system .

hmmm, CTS = cutomizing transport?
If you have a customizing table, there are still two possibilities.
1. customize in DEV system and transport
2. customize right there where you need it.
this depends on how the maintainance view is built. If it is a simple customizing table and you get not asked for a TR when customizing a new record or changing an existing one, you hit possibility 2.

Can we have two R/3 Source Systems(Dev & Test) in BW Development....?

Till now we have only BW Development box..
Our Landscape for R/3 side is R/3 Development, Testing and Production.....
Already we have connected R/3 Development with BW Development... It is working fine as now... We have finished our task at Development...
My doubt is Can we Configure R/3 Testing to BW Development....eventhough R/3 Development is already configured with BW Dev....
Can we have two R/3 Source Systems(Dev & Test) in BW Development....?
Please help me out in this issue....

Hi Kiran,
You can create second source system which will point to SAP R/3 Quality .
If you have transported all datasource activation requests to QA environment then all datasources are available in R3QA as well.
After creating source system , replicate datasources.
Only thing you need to do is to replicate efforts of assigning source system (R3QA)-> creating transfer rule -> Create info package and load data.

Can we transport objects from 7.0 (BW Dev) to 3.5 (BW Prod) system? Would there be any cautions we should consider before transporting. I was wondering except for DTP, transformations do we have anything else? Upgradation to BW Prod will take atleast 3 weeks from BW Dev upgradation. Please let me know. Thanks!!

Hi,
You can search for threads on this topic. You'll find out that such transports are neither recommended nor supported by SAP. I have gone through such (system upgradation) cycles in projects - I think the best practice would be to plan the project deliverables in such a way so that tranport freeze can be achieved during the period the systems are getting upgraded.

You should be able to copy your iTunes purchases back via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases

Can not see two fields in Crystal 2008 Developer explorer/designer view

I am currently developing crystal 2008 reports against the salesforce.com database using version 12.0.0.683 CR Developer Full version. I am using an updated driver that was provided in July or Aug 08 in order to view self referencing fields. The problem is that when I try and report against one of the tables (lead history) I cannot view two of the fields (New Value and Old Value)? I can see these two field (New Value and Old Value) in the database expert as the last two fields in the actual table, but the two fields are missing when I go into the explorer/designer view. In Salesforce, these two fields can not be filtered on, but I can export all the values in this table using Salesforece Apex data loader.

CCM 4.1(3) cluster within head office. We created the 7912 logo for system default image. However, the remote site 7912 phones, need to use a different logo other than the head office.

We can create the 7912 logo, but how can we setup two or more different 7912 logos for different sites?
We noticed on CCM4.1(3), there is idle URL for 7912 phone, what is the callmanager default link for this URL? I am thinking to use different logo file names, and put the related URL on this parameters for remote site 7912 phones.
Could someone let me know or any other better way to do?

This should work just the way you have described. Have a look;
Idle
Enter the URL that displays on the Cisco IP Phone display when the phone has not been used for the time that is specified in Idle Timer field. For example, you can display a logo on the LCD when the phone has not been used for 5 minutes.
Leave this field blank to accept the default setting.
Idle Timer (seconds)
Enter the time (in seconds) that you want to elapse before the URL that is specified in the Idle field displays.
Leave this field blank to accept the value of the Idle URL Timer enterprise parameter.

Here how on CCM;
Method 1:
Choose System > Enterprise Parameters so that the change is propagated to all of the phones from the Cisco CallManager Administration page.
In the URL Idle field, enter http://IP_address_of_CallManager/CCMCIP/filename.xml.
In the URL Idle Time field, enter any positive value in seconds.
Method 2:
Choose Device > Phone under the Cisco IP Phone configuration so that only this phone displays the graphics from the Cisco CallManager Administrator page.
Choose the phone/phones on which you want to put the display.
In the Idle field, enter the path http://IP_address_of_CallManager/CCMCIP/filename.xml.
In the Idle Timer field, enter any positive value in seconds.

You could, for example, have one AppleID for iCloud backup [and therefore message syncing, notes syncing, etc] and a second one for iTunes [music, iBooks, etc].

No, in this case the 2 user accounts with its own Apple IDs would be completely seperated.
If you want to share this things like music and app purchases you will have to to something else.
1. Create two user accounts on your Mac (user A and user B).
2. Create two iCloud accounts just for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, etc. (one for user A and one for user B):
On your Mac (with Mac OS X Lion or Mountan Lion):
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > iCloud > Create an Apple ID (button in left corner)
On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch (iOS 5 or later):
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > iCloud > Get a free @me.com address and create a new Apple ID
3. It is not recommended because you shouldn't share your Apple ID account information with other people but you could set up your old Apple ID as an account just for store purchases (Apps, Music, ...) so that everyone of you can manage the purchases in their own library (Access is limited to 10 devices). Therefore you have to setup this "old" ID in Settings of your iOS devices (Settings > iTunes & App Store) and in iTunes on your Mac.
