Can't turn my proxy settings OFF in advanced settings

Good morning everyone,
I am bumping into this issue for the last couple of days. I use a proxy connection at work, but when I get home, I can't seem to be able to disable the proxy. The checkbox right beside the "Select a protocol to configure" on the Proxies tab is all grey, and it won't allow me to click to disable. Can someone please help me? Thanks a lot.

i had that problem too, but it went away after a while. but, another way to turn off your ipod it to put it on the last song or an artist, skip most of the song, and at the end of the song it will just turn off eventually by itself. that's not really convenient and you probably already knew it, but meh!

How can I turn this automatic correcting OFF? I am a relatively new user of Pages and cannot find a means of turning the autocorrect OFF.or of setting the number formatting rules.

Pages v5.5.2 does not change 0800, or 20.00 when entered as body text for me. There is nothing in substitution, or Pages preferences settings that can effect these values.
However, when typed in a Pages table cell with the wrong data format, mischief does occur. In order to preserve 0800, select the Cell tab on the format panel, and set the cell data format to Text, or a custom data format. To preserve 20.00, you must set that cell data format to either Automatic with 2 decimals, or Number with 2 decimals.

Can i turn the Laptop screen off while connecting the TV?

Dear All,
I am connecting my Mac to TV 32'' via mini display port converted to HDMI.
I am using it on MAC OS X 10.6.6, and on Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 also.
when i am connecting my TV, the 2 screens are on, Laptop screen and TV screen.
Can i turn the Laptop screen off while connecting the TV?
how to do this on both operating systems?

The quick answer is, hook up the tv to the computer, close the lid, then wake the computer up by clicking the mouse while the lid is closed. Not sure if it'll work while running windows, but I'd bet it does if you have the mac drivers installed on the win os.

Let the battery fully drain. After charing for at least an hour try a reset and restore.

Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until your phone turns off. You can either release at that point or keep pressing until you see the Apple logo...that's an iPhone reset.

It sounds like you have restrictions turned on on the device. Settings>General>Restrictions.

I can't turn location settings on. I've tried settings>privacy>location services but the icon is grey and won't allow a change.
settings>restrictions>(all buttons are green)>location services allow/disallow won't affect the location services button (it remains grey).

You have 2 choices, since you cannot enable Find my iPhone in your phone's current state:
1) Don't enable it
2) Get the phone fixed so you can enable it.
