  • BB z30 doesn't turn on after charging.. drained bat??

My BBZ30, just a month old, does not turn ON after charging. What happened prior to this incident is that the battery went low to 12-15%. I was so busy i did not charge it right away once it got to 20%. So i charged it and turned the phone off thinking it will charge up faster if im not using it. There's a yellow-green light flashing as it signals that it's charging, then a full green light saying it's done charging. When i open it up holding the Turn on button, it doesnt open anymore. A red light just apears and sometimes blinking.. i tried charging it overnight (12-15hrs) and still it doesnt turn on. I dont know what else to do.. please help.. thank you..

I have the same problem. I sent a tweet to @blackberryhelp  but no response yet.

  • Why won't my macbook pro turn on after charging?

New battery. Worked just fine both plugged in and on battery power last night. Now it won't turn on after charging for over 12 hours. Anyone experienced anything like this or should I just bring it to an apple store?

    Reset the SMC and PRAM.
    SMC RESET
    Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
    PRAM RESET
    Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step
    Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.

  • Can you turn off the charging feature when using accessories?

Can you turn off the charging feature when using accessories with the iPad?

You cannot overcharge the battery when using the power adapter. Once the battery is fully charged, the iPad will no longer continue to charge if it is still connected. I leave my iPad on the power adapter for hours on end - on weekends when I am not at work.

These are both worthwhile reading for concerns about the battery and how to properly maintain it.
I know nothing about external speakers with the iPad since I do not use them - but If the speaker is with a dock of some sort that charges the iPad - you should have no worries. If it is a dock that charges the iPad - I know of no way to turn off the charging feature, but it will not shorten the life of the battery anyway as long as the battery is properly maintained and cared for.

  • My iPod touch 4g will not turn on after charging for a day what do I do ?

    please help

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • How can I turn off battery charging when plugged in to power on a plane?

    Hi,
is there an app that can turn off battery charging while plugged in?
I regularly fly from Australia to Europe (22 hours on the plane!) but the power outlet usually stalls when draining too much power
(e.g. 85 Watts for my Macbook Pro battery).
    Any solutions available?
I used to just take out the battery, however, that  is not possible anymore on the Macbook Pro.
    Thanks for your help.
    Christoph

But why turn off battery charging, makes no sense in this case. You either run off the battery or plug it in and run off the battery while it is charging.
The power draw won't change appreciably.
My bad power consumption will change
It would seem the best strategy would be to get on with a fully charged battery plug in the laptop and let it trickle charge as you use it. Given the length of the flight this should give you the longest use with the minimum amount of draw from the seat outlet.

  • Yoga S1 Can we turn off battery charging?

I am a new user for the Yoga S1, but I was wondering if it is possible to turn off battery charging.  I mainly use my laptop at a desk (so I rarely leave it unconnected from Power Plug).  I know this is bad for the battery.  On a dell that I own (Inspiron 14z) i can turn off battery charging when the laptop is plugged into the ac power plug.  Is this possible w/ the lenovo yoga S1?  The closest I've gotten to doing this was seeing an ability to turn off battery charging via BIOS, but that is only temporary (when comp is off and unplugged to switch out battery).
Any suggestions woiuld be greatly appreciated.

  • Can't turn off after connect to PC or Camera

I have an iPod Video 60GB Model MA003ZP which I bought in November 2005.
My iPod always have problem that everytime I connect my iPod to PC or digital camera (via camera connector) and then I disconnect it (waiting the icon do not disconnect to disappear first).
After I disconnect my iPod, I cannot turn off my iPod immediately or even I tried to reset iPod, I still could not turn it off.
From my observation, everytime I disconnect my iPod from PC or camera, the harddisk will keep moving or busy about 5 mins after disconnect. And then when the harddisk stop, I will be able to turn the iPod off.
I compare with myfried iPod Video 60 GB Model MA1XXX, it do not have the problem like mine.
I go to the Mac shop that I bought they suggest me to update software from 1.0 to 1.1. I did it and the problem is still there.
Is it the harddisk problem on my model? Hope support team can help me.
Video 60 GB, Model No. MA003ZP

Sounds like a similar problem to what I've had. After importing photos thru the camera connector I've had major problems that I'm still trying to solve... my ipod wouldn't play any music, it kept skipping everything and taking a very long time to respond (it took a good 60sec to turn it off). It also used all the battery in about an hour (and was fully charged to start off with). I went looking for the photos to delete, but they didn't seem to exist! Got the thing home, charged it up and managed to delete the photos. BUT, ipod will skip first 4-5 songs before deciding to play something, is **** slow to respond and keep eating thru the battery. any reason for this madness and any solutions apart from restoring it (computer hard drive rebuilt over xmas, and no back up of course...)

  • Help needed: blackberry keeps resetting or won't turn on after charging, especially via USB

This is a bit of an odd one and I'd appreciate any help that others can give me.
I've had my blackberry 8900 for about a year and a half now.
Whenever I charge my handset from an empty battery (e.g. this problem isn't a problem when I charge it if there's still some charge left) - either from the main power charger or via USB, I experience problems.
Whenever it's fully charged I unplug the charger and normally at this point it cuts out completely. The screen goes black and cuts out - it doesn't even go through the normal switch-off process. From then, it won't turn on for around 3 - 4 minutes (the red light occasionally appears on the top, although it's fully charged).
When it does turn on, it goes through a soft reset.
This is more of a problem when I charge it via USB but equally affects charging it from the mains as well.
    Any ideas?

It's fixable. First, charge it for several hours and then WITH the
charger still connected, remove the battery a minute and replace, and
    reboot.
If that does not do it, and it continues in the reboot loop
    1)
Make sure you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    2)
On your PC, go to Start > Run and copy and paste the following line
exactly (meaning with the quotation marks):
    "c:\program
    files\common files\research in motion\apploader\loader.exe" /nojvm
    3)
The Application Loader Wizard will appear -- click "Next."
    4) In
the "Connection:" drop-down menu, you should see "USB-PIN: UNKNOWN".
    Click the "Next" button.
    5) You should then see a list of
applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Hit Next and
Finish and you are well on your way to getting your Blackberry back to
life. Just don't disconnect anything and let the lengthy process finish
    completely.
NOTE: If you do not see a list of applications
mentioned in step 5 and instead see the message "The Blackberry Desktop
Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that
you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service
provider or system administrator," then you must download Blackberry's
Operating System for your carrier and device.
    http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
    Just
select the appropriate carrier and network type, select your Blackberry
model from the list and download the latest version. Install this
download and follow the above steps again and you should be on the right
    path.

  • Can you turn off the "Charging not supported with this device" messages?

I recently bought a standard dock extender cable in order to connect my iPad to my Apple HiFi and have had music from Pandora constantly interrupted by sporadic "Charging not supported with this device" messages. The messages will continue to come up repeatedly despite pressing the "Dismiss" bar repeatedly.
Is there a way to turn those kinds of warnings off in either iPad Settings or in iTunes when docking the iPad?

Try connecting the iPad to the iPod Hi-Fi with a male to male mini-stereo cable. I use one of these cables to connect my Airport Express to my iPod Hi-Fi, so that I can use it with AirTunes.
You can even combine the cable with the Apple iPad Dock, which would let you charge the iPad while using it with the iPod Hi-Fi.

  • Iphone 5 overheated battery off won't turn on after charging

i charged my iphone 5 this morning but it got overheated for the first time and there was a message on the screen saying to wait until it cools down but then the phone was out of battery in few minutes and it doesnt want to turn on i've been charging it for 4 hours and nothing happened there is only the apple icone that appears and nothing more what can I do please?

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

  • N73 turn off and can't turn on after firware updat...

    Hi
I updated my firmware on N73 but i didn't notice that went it was uodating, the phone turn off by itself( i didn't notice) i try to turn back on but still no response...what happen guys?I follow all the step...but no avail

    Hi hanadin,
If the connection is lost for any reason during the software update process then the phone shuts down leaving the phone dead.
The handset must now be taken to a Nokia Care Point where it can be fixed easily by an engineer.
You can find the nearest NCP to you at the Store Locator
