Can't turn on file syncing?

I thought I would try out the new market today and chose a file to download. It gave me an error saying I need to turn on File Syncing. I have tried to do this in the Preferences pane of the Creative Cloud desktop app and on the Files pane of the app (choose Assets in the main navigation and then Files, and press the big blue Start Syncing button). A little spinning wheel animation shows for a while and then the pane returns to that same state with the big "Start Syncing" button at the bottom.
Whatever I do, File Syncing is still turned off if I click on the little gear icon in the app. I tried selecting a custom folder to sync to, but that didn't help.
I'm not getting any error message at all, and I can see the Market item if I look at creative.adobe.com/files, but I can't find any way to bring the item onto my computer or use it.
I am able to use Typekit without any problems.
Any help would be great! I have no idea what I've doing wrong. This is on an iMac, OS 10.9.4, everything up to date in Creative Cloud.

Just found another very helpful post from Ben Mordue with the solution:
* Quit the Creative Cloud Desktop app
* In terminal, type:
rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync/options.tix
When you relaunch the CC desktop app, and press the Start Syncing button, it should work.

The only way I found to deal with that problem is to back up the disk drive to an external disk drive, them reformat the File Vaulted drive and copy the original data back to it.

iTunes for Mac can't handle WMA files, iTunes for winsloth can.
if you have access to a PC, use iTunes there to convert the files. alternatively, you can get EasyWMA and use that app.
the files need to be unprotected in both cases.

Can't turn off File Vault

My initial problem with File Vault was that I am running out of space even though the drive has additional capacity. In an earlier post I learned that this is due to the fact that when File Vault is turned on it is effectively it's own volume. Unfortunately I do not have enough disk space to turn off File Vault. I installed a new 500GB drive and installed Leopard. When I attempt to turn off File Vault I am still getting a message that I do not have enough disk space to turn it off. It appears as though the additional space is required on the same File Vault volume regardless of the size of the hard drive. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong, but this seems absurd.

I am having the same issue. I have 180 GB free on my HD, but my "home" volume only has 15GB free and I cannot turn off File Vault. Other than moving my whole music library and then deleting it, I don;t know how to get the space I need and turn the d..m file vault off.

I open prefs, click on 'file', click on 'on', close, return to menu and it shows file sync is off again. will not stay on.

Can I turn off file sharing on iPhone and iPad?

Got an iPad for work recently to store all of my secure PDF documents on. These PDF's contain lots of sensitive and high security information.
The other day I was messing around with it and discovered that the iPad could be plugged into any computer with iTunes and all of my files could be downloaded using the file sharing part of the program. I have searched and searched and searched, but cannot find any way to disable file sharing on my iPad at all.
So I have 2 questions. First of all, can I disable file sharing on my iPad? And Secondly, if I can't disable it, does anyone know an app that I can use to manage folders of PDF files that doesn't use file sharing?

Using the Passcode Lock prevents the iPad from being synced with iTunes on any other computer and from transferring data from or to the iPad with iTunes on any other computer other than the computer used for syncing your iPad.

My iphone 4s was originally sync with a computer I no longer have and now it won't sync with icloud because I can't turn on the sync portion on the phone because it only recognizes the computer I no longer have

I get the following message: Sync will resume when -----Pc is available. well this computer is no longer available. And the area on the iphone showing up is in grey so it won't allow me to syn via wi-fi
I downloade some txt messages alerts a long time ago and no matter what I try I can't get them on my phone. they show up in iTunes but can't get them to my sound section on my phone.

How can I turn off catalog SYNC in Photoshop Organizer 10?

I am still running version 10. I would like to change the Organizer setup so it does not think it needs to SYNC with an online backup. I know I can manually stop the task, but I would like the Organizer to stop trying to perform a sync.

I apologize for the long delay. You do not understand - when I select Preferences -> Backup/Synchronization - Photoshop requires me to login. See the screen below. I suspect Photoshop Elements 10 or something in my configuration is telling the program I must be connected in order to modify this option. I do recall the website no longer exists. I never used it anyway.

It's easy to turn that off, but not obvious nor intuitive.
Open Sherlock. Select "Index Volumes..." from one of the menus (I think the menu is named Find or Index - I'm not at a Mac right now). In the new screen, uncheck all items in the list. OK the screen, and that takes care of it.

Can't turn mp3 audio sync from event to stream on timeline

I've imported an mp3 to Flash CC and put it on the timeline. The audio sync in the properties only allows 'event'. I need it to be stream so I can scrub sound. Any help greatly appreciated.
