Can`t type some keys.

I cant type some of the keys, such as: SPACE, BACKSPACE, N, B, TAB, DOWN CURSOR.
Any ideas?

Do you have another keyboard you can test with? It does not have to be a Mac keyboard, any USB keyboard will do.
If it turns out that you can use another keyboard normally, you will want to replace the one you have. Is your iMac covered under warranty or under an AppleCare agreement? If so (assuming you are talking about the Apple keyboard it came with) it should be covered. If not, you will need to purchase a new one.

Unable to type while Mouse Keys is enabled in OS X

Using a mac OSX and a logitech M-UAG120 mouse, how do I use the wheel button to open a link in a new tab (but not switch to it)? Can't type a key in box.

In the logitech control center I've clicked on my mouse (tilt wheel mouse), clicked on 'wheel button', and in the dropdown menu selected keystroke. Under 'configure keystroke', there's a "type a key..." box, and to the right, there's a "choose any modifier" selection.

I'm lost here. The mouse used to do it, then I needed to unplug it, and when I set it up again, the wheel button is inert when used on a link.

I can't type some characters into firefox for android with physical keypad

I am using an android device which is a Sharp 007sh that come with a physical 9 number keypad like those old nokia phone, running stock android 2.3 and using an input method modifier named as cedIME that can be downloaded from google play.
and with this setup, to type character into the phone, it is necessary to press multiple time a ley to get a character. For instance, to type a 'z' into the phone, you'll have to press the '9' button four time, so it change from w to x to y and finally z. However, in Firefox, when doing so to url bar and text area, pressing the first time the button '9' would create a highlighted character 'w', then another press would change the character from 'w' to 'x', but then it no longer being highlighted and the input cursor move to the right of it. As such, pressing the button '9' for the third time would not result in the intended change from 'x' to 'y', instead it would simply add a new character 'w' after the previous character 'x', and pressing the fourth time would thus result in another 'x', which make the output become 'xx', instead of the intended 'z' character. This problem is so far unseen on any other apps.

I still have this problem with the accents in AC and I've just found that problem comes from the double-type characters (like the accents in Spanish).

Some keys are typing alt characters. Help!!

My Macbook's keyboard has been acting extremely funky this past week. The primary issue deals with the "h" typing "˙" (it doesn't help now that the key is hanging off one hinge. I accidentally chipped one of hinges in my cleaning attempt) and occasionally some keys on typing their respective alt characters. Also, when I type some keys it mutes my speakers. Looking at the virtual keyboard viewer, I press the left option key and the "h" key appears in grey. But when pressing the right option key it does not.
I've checked under "Language & Text" and "Speech" and everything appears to be fine. I have ran the typical Disk Utility functions and SMC reset to no avail. Also, I can't even run a PRAM reset!! It doesn't help that I am no longer under warranty. If anyone can help please let me know!!!!
FYI I am using a MB403LL/A model running on 10.6.8.

I can't type text with special Spanish characters (Captivate 6)

I've just downloaded Adobe Captivate 6 to try it out and found that I can't type some special characters widely used in Spanish language: our accents or tildes (that's the Spanish word for them). That's what I can't type:
Á or á
É or é
Í or í
Ó or ó
Ú or ú
I've checked the fonts on my font manager, but that's not the problem. They're fine.
I've also tried to paste some text with these characters from Firefox and it worked fine. You can see it on the image:
So I guess it must be some annoying bug.
Can anyone help me?

Prevent application from grabbing some keys.

I have media keys for volume control on my keyboard and use them. I have mapped them with KDE hotkeys control module. All work fine. However, some applications, for example, SDL-based ones, grab all keyboard input, including media keys. I lose ability to change audio volume until I stop the application.
The question is: How can I protect some keys from being grabbed by applications? I mean, how to make sure that some key events always reach target app, even when another app tries to grab all input. For example, Ctrl-Alt-F1 still works in all apps. Is there X server config to protect another key?

I'm just using libx11-nokeyboardgrab now, so I let the sdl one go unmaintained.
libx11-nokeyboardgrab is incompatible with dmenu (edit: and password screensavers), but works with everything (also dialog pop-ups).
sdl-nokeyboardgrab doesn't grab non-sdl programs (Virtualbox, maybe Wine, I haven't tested it).
It doesn't prevent mouse grab, because that's necessary for FPS games and Virtualbox mouse mode.
I have thought of adding in a mechanism where the mouse is only grabbed on some condition. Like the existence of a "/tmp/grabmouse" file. But I've been fine without it.
One problem that occurs even with mouse grab enabled is that when the game loses focus, it loses the mouse grab too. When you switch back to the game, you need to do something to make it re-grab the mouse.
For instance in Urban Terror (FPS), when you switch back to the game, the mouse behaves erratic until you press ~ for Console (which normally ungrabs the mouse) and then press it again.

How can I type another language on my iPad?

I bought my iPad online and when I received it the language was English. I am happy about that as that is my language. However, I am in China and there are times when I really need to use Chinese. Using my iPod, the keyboard used to allow me to switch between English and Chinese. Is there anyway I can occassionally type some Chinese on my iPad which has everything else in English? Any help will be much appreciated.

When I open Firefox, the Google screen comes on. Then I type the first letter of my search and up pops up possible searches. How can I delete some of these choices?

If you want to remove saved form data from a drop down list then use these steps:

Some keys as ENTER, SPACE and BACKSPACE type characters

Some keys as ENTER, SPACE and BACKSPACE are not working properly in my HP Pavilion dm4 1055br. When pressing one of these keys type two or three characters ( ): ENTER (lçj), SPACE (.;M), BACKSPACE (~h). This latter at the same time turn off the F11 key (sound). The light of wireless key (F12) does not turn on. When turn off the F12 key, all the keys mentioned work well.

I accidently knocked some keys on the keyboard and firfox is now lost at the top of the screen, I cannot see menu items if I push the curser up some of the top appears on my screen but not all please can you help me?

I accidently knocked some keys on my keyboard. I do not know which keys my hand knocked but it caused Firefox to go beyond my visible screen at the top. The base of Firefox is still okay and views correctly. But the head is missing I cannot access my menus items such as Bookmarks etc. The screen does drop down if I push my curser up but not enough to show the menu items. Can you please help?
